Am out big loss gla
Hi Mad
Just seen your post, I am assuming the same, total mess this Company, I keep on trying to find out what is going on
in Uruguay without success. I'm in too deep to get out like everyone else. They have not replaced their Technical guy and I'm not sure what the future holds unless they go private
imo a bit of cynicism and a bit of critical analysis and a doze of realism is far better than wearing rose tinted specs stating everything is "all good" when clearly it ain't.
Ah well, if you don't want to debate or counter argue anything - at least there's always ticking up meaningless posts to keep you occupied.
Mad you cynical never !!!!
Stewy - there's now only one full-time individual on the BoD with any mining experience.
The share consolidation was never meant to do anything for PIs. In fact the stated intention of the consolidation was to make investing in PGD stock more attractive to institutional investors, and perhaps perversely less attractive to PIs (or the pump & dump brigade). And also the consolidation makes it easier should any future Placement be necessary.
For me, PGD has today become a bit of a BREXIT. Nobody seems sure or confident how it is all going to pan out. Compared to years in the past the volume of trades are a mere fraction of what it once was. I remember the days of a 3p RISE (or 300p in today's post consolidation money) in a SINGLE day's trading session.
Not sure if I've got this 100% right - but are they saying that the gold production for the first 6 months = 23k ozs (that being with all the labour disruptions + national strike + severe weather conditions) YET the guidance figure of gold production for the next 6 months is LESS ie 22k ozs!!!!!!!!! Making 45k ozs in total. Is that right?????? Doesn't exactly inspire confidence to invest, if so. Or maybe the Baldrick Master Plan is they really expect to produce far more gold in H2 - and when done so - shout from the rooftops that they have far exceeded production expectations. And how hard they have worked to achieve it??? Or am I just being too cynical????
Still with a relatively large holding just really pxxsd off with the board with the consolidation now 0.85 equivalent

Stewy is not posting at the mo as he's trying hard to take your advice and stay "strong". He's got enough on his plate trying to follow all your intelligent & witty observations about PGD. Your critical analysis of how things are going "all good. lots going on" takes time to digest.
BTW note you're now over 2,000 posts since your new nick less than 7 months ago. That's average of near 300 posts a month!!! Surely you have better things to be doing than coming on here on a Saturday night to ask Stewy if he's still invested in PGD???
Are you still invested here my friend?
Taking this back up slowly by the looks of things not sure wether there is any news due ,don't post much on here but still hold a big chunk long term atm
Stew stay strong my friend
Rocktapper agree with your comments there
Same old, same old....... delivery yet again much less than previous published projections. Excuses made. More jam 2moro.
Good posts Rock & Sida.
I think they are first and foremost focussing on costs and debt reduction, where they are making impressive progress IMHO. Management appears to have a clear road map. I share everyone's frustration and the interminably long a bumpy (bumping along the bottom) ride we long suffering shareholders have had but personally I am beginning to feel more confident.
SO what the BoD wants us to believe is that the value of the remaining resources in the ground beneath the existing pit is somewhere in the region of (300,000 * ($1250 - $668)) or US$175 million thereabouts, equivalent to around £5.58 per share where US$1250 is the approx. gold price and US$668 is the average mining cost per ounce inc. amortisation/depreciation. My question is: why on earth haven't they got a decent plan in place for mining this high grade zone before having to place the mine on care and maintenance, presumably whilst they scratch their heads trying to figure out what to do? Relying on reprocessing the 800,000 tonnes doesn't really cut it. And what's happening with the other projects? The consolidation and then free-fall of the SP is a testament to how badly things are being run.
So not all bad. They should be making a good profit if they can sort Their Ir out
Not the best on news this morning....but probably priced in after the recent decline of the SP.....
Hopefully better news tonight....COME ON ENGLAND!!!
Agree hl83
Bunch of crooks. I will gladly take part in any action against the BOD.
They should have done that a long time ago, but then they couldn't have robbed the arse off us PIs.
This is surprisingly bad even for the usual dire levels PGD, maybe it’s time to take it out the back and put it out of it’s misery.
Equivalent now since consolidation. I have emailed BoD. Disgusting Thing to do consolidations when the market is like it is. They should all resign and stop bumming the market for placings
Back below 1p (in old money) to sell. That's about a 50% drop in value to sell just since 100:1 consolidation.
Seems to be nothing but regular daily PI type sells of no real volume or value. No buyers of the stock to speak of for yonks. Crazy situation given Market Cap and the revenues and the potential. House Broker needs a good kicking.
This time last month they said they were carrying out a re-evaluation, with production guidance being reviewed for 2018. They stated they would inform the Market when complete. Well how long does that take? We are now into H2 of 2018.
Can only assume that exercise and/or the new crushing circuit hasn't been that successful otherwise there'd have been a positive or bullish RNS.
Been the same old, same old for about a decade now. Guess a leopard never changes its spots. Can't even sack the BoD as they own most of the Company.
'All good. Lots going on.' LMAO.
Surely the BOD should be held accountable ... why do a ******* consolidation? Where the duck is any shareholder value here
I really thought that if the world went to hell, like its currently doing, that at least my gold shares would do well... Stock markets fell today but so did gold, don't understand it at all.
