Max19,Thanks for info my friend
a bit behind schedule then, the new crusher. i guess the q1 production wasnt effected, that wouldnt go down well,if it was.lol.
https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/precious-metals-investing/silver-investing/ed-steer-invest-silver-now/ light reading for a relaxing weekend I hope.
212 full time employees at this company, wtf are they all doing??
I can't find any projected figures for Q1 but I'm sure they were a lot higher than 10,662 oz. They mentioned a new crushing circuit in an operations update months ago but its still not installed according to the RNS.
what do you make of it?
Stew,I am sure many investors feel, and say the same about theirs favourites investment...however I do agree with you about the current under valuation here, its just one of those unloved shares atm...having said that, true value will always be reflected on the price...eventually.
any normal share and it would be up 20-30% but this is patagonia gold
Today's news should hopefully end the recent SP decline, and finally start to reflect the real valuation here.
added a few today just based on how much they have fallen since the consolidation was mentioned! 1.75 down to 1.15 on no fundamental news other than production increase
Unfortunately this is heading to 100p,or 1p pre-consolidation....I did expected this to happen (and posted my hunch at the time ),as my experience with share consolidation is that they always dropping after the event taken place ...I will wait a wee bit longer before adding few because valuation wise we are in no worst state than we were before the consolidation,if not better ...
FCK me this share price decline is relentless. I blame it entierly on the placing as the share price was rising nicely before hand. Production has also increased so this consolidation has crucifed the share price and the bod should be held accountable and arrested. where is shareholder value? duilution to hell then consolidation
Cyprus far enough away for you? ,this share board has lost the interest it had by your posts constantly posting negative comments no wonder nobody posts now ,I for one will not be posting again while you are still on here ,ill sell up and move on in my own time ,i do feel sorry for those that have waited so long for this share to turn itself around but sadly i cant see it happening
Every now and then I come to check this share and every time becomes more dissapointing. The consolidation is not responsible in full for this carnage. The lack of direction of the BoD, lack of news, operations problems at CO, COO leaving and debts increasing are some of the reasons for this downfall. The company is still operating due to Carlos' money and willingness. Uruguay was a huge waste of money without results known, probably another write off is coming. Hope they hit the nail with Calcatreu, a long sleeping project due to the history of local opposition and regulatory restrains. They paid it very expensive and probably will be freezed until a new COO is in place while Argentina is approaching a new year of elections. I have done some research and it seems that all went tumbling down since Mark Sale and Will Humprey left the company, and probably Carlos will put the last nail on this coffin sooner than later IMHO.
Cookie - haven't you got better things to be doing than posting trivia on here at 9.30 in the evening during a Bank Holiday weekend? I see you have now posted more times in the last 5 months with your new nick than I've posted on this BB in 5+ years. Clearly you need to get out more. I actually said it was "self-evident". Not evident. There is a difference. One (self-evident) you require to have a brain in order to make it easy to work it out. PGD used to be a very popular stock for Share Clubs (back in the days when Share Clubs were very popular themselves). And PGD used to be an active share for comments on BBs with 10-20 'intelligent' daily comments on various BBs commonplace. Some even stating they were in Share Clubs at the time. By their very nature, Share Clubs used to consist of nominal amounts of individual investment into a portfolio consisting of 10-12 different stocks, and seen by many as much as a social event to meet and discuss shares with like-minded others over a drink. As a generalisation, Share Clubs don't 'average down' on individual stocks held. And PGD shares bought back then could have cost as much as 50 times today's purchase price. Also since those days PGD's value to them has lost in the region of 95% and now they have the added embarrassment of having a 100:1 consolidation to leave them with single digit amounts of PGD stock in their portfolio. I suspect it seems pretty pointless & embarrassing to your typical PI to be sat holding 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 shares in a Company. Especially having held for a decade or more - and get frustrated at the BoD make promise after promise to achieve this or that, and for it to consistently never materialise. Not to overlook the endless share dilutions over past 15 years. Massive share consolidation leaving a single figure holding probably amounts to being the straw that broke the camel's back. For some.
Evident??,please explain
Stewy - I agree 100% it's VERY frustrating. The reality is the BoD don't give a flying t*ss about where the sp sits at the mo. It's WAY down the list of their priorities. Unfortunately for us. In fact it's the usual perverse fact with these type of AIM companies that the directors are happy for the sp to be on the floor just in case they have to contribute themselves to any future fundraising. We've had at least 12 years of that here. There MIGHT be the need for fundraising if/when they take Calcatreu to production. But hopefully the revenues from Cap O should make that not necessary. If you look at the justification on the BoD presentation made at the AGM ref the share consolidation it more or less says so. Whatever the reason - PGD simply doesn't seem to be attracting buyers of the stock at the mo. The House Broker is either on holiday or still asleep. Cookie - there is of course no mystery why all the small volume trades since the consolidation. That's surely self-evident?
Taken it down on two trades something not right here ,are we expecting any news stew?
Agree stew ,strange these single number trades atm
how the fcuk have they managed to decimate the price from 1.75 to 1.18 with good news about production but the shite consolidation news. Consolidations should be banned and the only way to increase shareholder value to increase the share price based on prospects, share buy backs, good new etc. stinks
Ill leave you to it then cant wait to get out imho
If only that was you're one & only typo Cookie!!! LMAO. Of course you're own endless posts of insightful ramping one-liners of misleading drivel spark lots of debate & interest on here.
Board typo !!
