Oh he's right about Cameroon...
Over 135 g/t...
Wait for others to pile when we get going.
I hope so Mr.P. A solid few months of news inbound. Let’s hope it’s good news and TL is right about Cameroon.
I was also thinking with next year £20k ISA tax free allowance but think this would be back at 1p or more before 6 April.
Otherwise there could be bit of a buying frenzy around 6 April as most would want to utilise their ISA allowance. Besides we could get news before that from other projects also.
If this is still low at the end of April/May (I hope not) but I’ll be topping up with my new ISA balance. Rude not too.
£20,000k of shares at under 1p
Either look at this as a tremendous opportunity or sit it out and wait on other news which you would have done as a long term holder anyhow. When this moves it can move very quickly so it can pare the losses pretty fast.
If you bought because of the possibilities of what the licenses in West Africa hold, then whatever is in the ground hasn't changed in the last few weeks. So this could be a massive opportunity to top up but DYOR. The fact that IAMG don't want to walk a way is obviously a bonus if that is the true sentiment.
Have until October for this, plenty of news flow expected between now and then.
Not worried about IAG position, all outcomes are positive for ORR.
3 weeks ago no one would have thought it was going to these levels.
Feel like it could have been handled with slightly more damage control. Anyway we are here, just don’t want to slip any lower
Need an RNS with positive word about the IAMGOLD situation and Senala. Need lots of drilling before the rainy season starts
MrPin - The calculation I am making on increasing my position size at these prices is that there WILL be another spike in the SP between now and the rainy season (in a couple of months). It IS a gamble but I don't think the odds are against me here. Before the rainy season begins I will want to have halved my PS once again as the SP will stagnate and sink for THOSE 3 months while no work is being done (no work = no good news RNS = falling SP). I would look to then double my PS after the RS. Troajan said the same thing about a month ago and he seems to know his way around exploration companies like ORR (whereas I've spent a lifetime avoiding these very companies because a) too risky & b) quicker opportunities elsewhere).
If it get's to 0.7p I'll be buying more.
Have put this on the back-burner whilst we get closer to next set of results.
Silver and gold may well move higher in meantime, which will also help.
GLA
Think its a case of holding long here as in 3yrs or more for proper returns .. Its all new ground with Cameroon , things could take a while to lift off the ground , others on here will know better than me
I am in at 1.4
Then again at 1.2
This is now on 0.85, i was hoping for 2p this year but now i am a little worried
Cheers Dogs il be topping up for sure
Leathal, I won't try to give you inv. adv. but while this is dropping I am buying in small bites. 0.82 is the support level we bounced off it last week but it could break thru it in which case the next SL will be at 0.70. Hope this helps.
Brutal huh. Just goes to show what an unsavoury RNS can do. chucking out warrants won't help the short term price as well but i guess better to get more of these out of the way now. Puts some cash in the coffers. I've liquidated some of my other holdings to average down at these prices. Just taken another chunk in. Probably daft but time will tell.
Mannan im hoping Copl can get me some prophits so i can load a bit more into here !! 4/6 wks will soon come around im planninh to avg down to 1p
Meant to say 4/6 weeks
Try being in at 1.80 !! Some are
Do you think. 4/6. Waiting long time?
this thread title has spoilt my post from Friday (!)
"I think that’s somewhat harsh. Senala existed at 0.4. It went up on Cameroon and hope this drilling would reveal more re Senala. Now we may get more Senala either Q3 (by time results are in I guess) or next year (if they miss rainy season). So it was going to fall to some degree. Also gold now $1700 vs $1900 when this peaked. Most things have come down to some degree.
Still think good value here though and this board deserves respect for recognising the results were weak when they were released. On most boards it would have been ‘great results’ followed by ‘just traders selling’ followed by ‘what’s hapenning ?!’"
The Djibouti results, and the final results, and updates from decisions about senala, plus updates at bibimi and scoping studies in Central cameroon.
I'd add that iamgold drilled only 1-2m at fare, was this because they hit the right sort of strata? Or saw what they were looking for?
Also, they actually turned in a profit at the interims, and so wait to see.
Oh dear!!!
