I'm sure this type of contract has come up before, if memory servers.
At the time I'm sure CF said something along the lines of, " we are a services provider and nobody gets things on the cheap".
So, if they require our services then they have to pay , like anyone else.
Thumbs up Kilman..
Thanks sorry for the misinformation
Info on Trial (which has already commenced as CF states)
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04913610
Bronxville,
You are not even reading the links you are posting. That one for 2009 was for treating African trypanosomiasis (HAT).
This trial is for Onchocerciasis Disease ,

This is a REACH announcement, not RNS. So, the point you have mentioned about contracts only being communicated when £1mill + relates to RNS, not REACH. Let's not get too excited about this - it's REACH which means could and most probably is worth less than £1mill. But who cares, a contract is a contract and it's a good one from what I can see.
Diane Abbott and BOJO..
I rate them equally..USELESS!
AOC working on a 3.5 trillion project
Enrico...keeping it real..
Will be keeping an eye on you
I have no such desire. Although my comments appear to be directed at Bronx, they were for the benefit of the peeps he attempts to mislead. Or, perhaps he is a foolish as AOC! ????
Enrico..
Don't mention Diane Abbott our resident Moneyman will burst a blood vessel..(:
But point taken
Exactly. Gates and Soros have combined to acquire a vehicle for $41m as a non-profit means, which essentially means using the surplus cash for the benefit of the community in poor African countries.
Good luck trying to keep Bronx and his team in check, thankfully he's back on my filter list with several others so that I don't get embroiled in petty arguments and having to respond to his CF bashing. GLA
Bronxville,
Forgive my humour; I suspect you went to the same Uni as @AOC, who, with her degree in economics, still does not understand her new venture (non-profit corp) is a capitalist business model. She claims it is not. Non-profit companies grow; they grow by reinvesting their surplus and not wasting the surplus. Essentially, it is a legal entity organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit. In other words, you are as confused as @AOC. https://twitter.com/AOC
USA's democrat version of Diane Abbott, bless!

I see that but that was 2009
https://dndi.org/press-releases/2009/dndi-receives-15m-from-the-bill-and-melinda-gates-foundation/
DNDi I've never heard of them but the do have big partners..
Maybe Imutex should partner with them for the Zika (malaria)vaccine.
Well they have €14.2m from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for work on a cure for River Blindness (Onchocerciasis).
So stupid to say anything about how Not for Profit would mean a lesser revenue.
Fishtoy that's why I asked are AbbVie paying ?
It's unclear since its been outsourced .
Have to agree on that fish. I was FD of a so called not for profit. We went from 11m to 55m in 6 years & yes we made a profit oops surplus. How do you think we expanded - no loans in there! We were in fact a commercial operation. 4 years after I left they trransitioned the biz & it was bought in a reverse takeover by an AIM listed biz. I can't say who.
I should imagine that when the fee is undisclosed that this is at the request of the customer, rather than OO being deliberately oblique. Not the case for this particular contract I should think, but the ‘significant’ Ampligen contract could be quite a big one for example.
Thinking logically, putting a figure on a trial could upset the SP of the customer (as it’s a significant cost) and hence an agreement is made not to disclose the exact figure at the time.
Just a thought but I wouldn’t automatically see a lack of a figure as a bad thing…
Sound a little desperate to me..DNDi are a non profit..other than doing good for society I can't see much revenue here..
Or are AbbVie paying for the trial even though the antibiotic is licensed out DNDi..
We need a little bit more flesh on these announcements. Some of us are convinced about the prospect. But no mention of the potential revenue. Is it less than 1-2 Million or more or less. I think CEO said that he will not declare contracts less than 1 Million. This uncertainty around a ball park figure of revenue makes it difficult for the market to value the company correctly. The margin is about 20-30 percent. 6-8 times revenue claim for valuation is not good enough. We need visibility. I do not really need any more of ramping up commentaries. Opportunity cost may put off new buyers who will push the price up rather blaming individual big sellers. CEO is perhaps also best advised to not give interviews with dubious players and send around random responses and announce random time frames for outcomes. He is a good chap and done fine but credibility is easily lost.
Should be a bullish day I hope
