"If only they were as shrewd in their contract dealings and sales department...they would not be in this mess.."
Seems to me like the directors only get their thinking caps on when it involves securing wages for another while. You can be sure they know every detail of their contract of employment, wages holidays, sick leave, redundancy package...but know that a gov order expired a month earlier ?....no chance.
part of the deal on selling the placing was that the placees get warrants.
without the additional sweetner of warrants they would not have had takers for the placing
Sorry don’t get it……sweetener warrants to invest? Which they’ve already done?
"Who’s going to buy the warrants? "
the warrants have already been issued to the placees. as a sweetner to get the placing over the line.
they don't have to buy them but if the SP goes above 4p - which is what existing LTH are expecting/hoping then they have the option of buying at making an immediate profit if they can sell above 4p
I'm of the same opinion kate....but I'm also into reducing the damage I've incurred during the past 12 months....and now see a glimmer of light on the horizon.
As far as I'm concerned ..more research to be done....by me. .before committing.
Who’s going to buy the warrants? Can’t imagine anyone putting money into omega now especially if they read this bb. I’m just waiting in the small Hope sp will recover a bit as not much point of selling now. Wish next presentation they’d tell us how they plan on learning how to sell products
Freddie- It's not a gamble in my opinion .I gambled on the horse's today,I picked my selections they had a chance to win or lose.If I was to try and average down any further, who knows what will be the next thing that happens here. I cannot see me getting my investment back here
Thanks for your reply CS ...I will take on board your constructive comments prior to decision making.
I also agree with you CG....its a gamble but hopefully more meat on the bone needed before I commit.
Best regards all...Fred
Captain- That's one of a few comments that I agree with you about ODX being out of favour,I won't be participating in any further placing ,too many red herrings
freddie - ultimately it will depend on odx selling their products (in usa?) in a way they have never sold before. I have said all along trying to sell to the chinese is not going to work. If they can do this then there is always a chance. it is a good product in a new an very interesting field.the price point needs a health conscious affluent demographic. my question mark is as ever odx ability to sell. it is a big old country and needs an aggressive sales strategy.
the dilution will slow any potential recovery - and the placees and warrant holders will no doubt just want profit on their cash and so sell out asap - creating a large overhang. this will need to be worked through before any serious rise in SP. i suspect odx will try to pump the share as they may want future placings. however they are out of favour and it may need time for the dust to settle.
i wish you well with your odx stake
Potential for huge dilution for those cannot or will not involve themselves in the placing.....for others....who knows but if there is a recovery....they could do nicely...DYOR....I know I intend to!
Actually it is quite a cute move by odx. I think there was a limit on how much they could place without shareholder approval.
Seems they got round this by placing 50,000 but doing warrants of 90,000!!!
So anytime the SP goes above 4p potential for huge additional dilution
If only they were as shrewd in their contract dealings and sales department...they would not be in this mess..
Anyway just a brief pop in ...time for a beer!
As far as I understand warrants give the option for a person to by at a specific price. Let's say 4p
Now if the price rose to 6p they could then buy shares at a discount (33%). Firstly this dilutes the current share total. Dilution is not good for sp. Secondly they would probably want to sell and make instant profit. So now you have the potential for a lot of selling which is not good for sp
Now the really nasty thing is that it allows someone to short the stock say at 6p knowing that they have the insurance of covering themselves with the warrants in the worse case scenario.
Warrants are great for the people getting issued them...not for ordinary holders.
The fact that they needed to issue warrants to get placing away prob tells you all you need to know
...are they involved with the open offer shares.
If they are ...I have to admit little knowledge regarding how they work and if so will they prolong the process of restoring the sp to ???
