I hope al the folks who repeatedly said ODX was knocking out tests at capacity month after month, heard him when he talked about holding very limited stock.
I recall good old regulator suggesting that ODX would need additional space, such was the stock they were building.
they will i am sure get the gov equipment. in the presentation colin was talking about respecting sell by dates. there is no way that they will be churning mass amounts out until approvals. the new accountant won't let them. they are already looking at cash burn
Your missing the point sharabel, did you listen to the presentation, that obviously came after the RNS so was the latest information. Colin clearly said in discussions regarding the use of the machines , so as of 5pm Thursday they had know idea weather they could or couldn’t .
And a one more time it was in the chairman’s statement re use of Gov equipment in the HALF YEAR REPORT - there’s been no change! Good god does anyone read the RNSs put out. We were told already about Lansdown in the November 1sr RNS.

If you take a look at this tweet from yesterday it says
( no test to manufacture under DHSC contract, but remain in dialogue for commercial use of equipment )
https://twitter.com/omegadiagnostic/status/1463786532284866561?s=21
For some reason ppl saying for one reason or order the sp is going to rise, any 10% rise is followed by a 10% fall it's the way it is, if you don't sell on any rise then back down it comes, if it stays up which it could then great aimo
@BB..i'm guessing they felt the need to tweet this confirmation after reading the confusion highlighted on here arlier today surrounding production capacity.Looking forward to CTDA,EU HUA and some massive orders from DAM.
It's essentially splitting hairs between 'still in discussions' and 'having access'. The equipment is still in the ODX premises so i supoose until it is removed or DHSC state otherwise,we still have access to its capabilities. Either way,if ODX can sell the non-gov.equipment capacity of 666k tests per week,i think we'll be more than ok..imo.
I am also encouraged by the reference to Lansdown - those guys will be totally focused on commercial opportunities and will provide a level of professionalism that ODX may lack.
In normal circumstances I probably would not RNS about the equipment but if my SP had just been battered and I could present some positive news flow on a Monday morning I think I just might - nothing stopping them if they feel the confirmation is significant which it probably is especially if you consider the position if HMG had made it difficult or worse still asked for the equipment to be removed.
@ Blades. Hi.Yes,there's plenty of mention in the half year report of 'encouraging commercial opportunities' and believing in commercial success of the home use LFT. As Sharebel says, have a good slow read of the Chairman's Statement at bottom.Lots to be hopeful for.ODX still wide open for commercial success outside of the DHSC debacle.
Not disputing that it wasn’t in the report , but the latest on the gov machines usage was in the presentation and he clearly said they are in discussions regarding the use of them there was no definitive answer. So that news obviously affected the SP toady . It clearly won’t make the SP sky rocket on Monday but to me it’s a small positive going forward
Yes..that's exactly what i said !.in the half year report. Jeez...doesn't really matter,we already knew all these snipetts of info. Still positive though.
BLADE maybe worth reading my previous post and the Half Year Report as it’s in the Chairman’s statement - nothing is new or has changed can we all agree on that. It may be beneficial to some to spend weekend actually reading past RNS’s

That bit was in the HALF YEAR REPORT lol
‘and DHSC are still providing us with access to their Government-funded equipment to provide the infrastructure to grow our businesses.’
You can’t tweet Price Sensitive News and this isn’t PSN * rolls eyes skywards until they hurt*

We only found out 24 hours ago we the gov contract had expired , and we all know omega cannot use the gov machines for there own test /use , so the news tonight is a small positive , because as of close of today know one knew weather omega would be able to use full capacity ie gov machines . As far as some were aware the machines may have had to be removed when the contract expired /cancelled or ended
@Sharebel . Yes,but the 'still having access to the govt. equipment' part was not in 1st Nov. RNS..it was in the half year report y'day morning . Unroll eyes.
This was announced last month it ain’t new news - there’s no RNS coming Monday lol -from the news article they tweeted-so best all stand down from frenzied excitement
‘Omega continues to have access to the Government-funded equipment, and has brought Lansdown Strategic Capital on board to help secure contracts to manufacture Covid testing kits on behalf of commercial partners. The first agreement to emerge from this – a deal with flight certification provider DAM Health of Liverpool – was announced earlier this month.‘
Oh and companies aren’t allowed to simply tweet PSN - that’s because we already know this as this was in 1st November RNS * rolls eyes *
