I'm a positive buyer filter ,always have been ;-)
One positive buyer might change the mood.
If/when the directors start buying in again, then some confidence might return to the retailers as well.
screw it I'm buying more once funds are available, as frustrating as this continued holding down of the SP is this must be one of the very best shares out there for upside potential.
At least that's one saving grace with these sellers, more time to get in.
If they could hold off for a week or 2 they'd make a lot more money!!
Need to get rid of these darn Ex CEO/NED sellers and quick..... I don't want them around when fortunes turn here
Saying that they are pushing seller through fast... more news to come very soon imvho.
A drop in share price against the backdrop of today's news is pure theft, end of.
"many/most, small/medium sized “pharma” stocks don’t make a profit, but have large MCaps based purely on their pipeline and potential."
Don't forget all the boardroom turmoil of the last 12 months. That has damaged confidence. I suspect the market needs something more solid than the silver-plated BS we have been enticed with in the past.
This is hopefully a new start. However let's also not forget that these results are based on tests on the lung tissue of a single donor. What is the chance of these results being non-typical?
We need substantial, solid news that paves the way to a deal and income.
Every share drops without news, and will keep dropping without news, but that doesn’t mean the only thing that stop it dropping and reverse the trend is news of a deal imo.
I’m not surprised this hasn’t shot up this morning, because it’s going to take more than one bit of positive news for people to start believing we have a turned a corner. We also have 3 potential sellers who may become less and less likely to continue selling as the story starts to unfold, but again, they may not necessarily need a deal to stop them selling, just the hint that things are progressing.
We're just going by what the market is/has been telling us the last 12 months where we've halved in value, about 80% down if you go back further from the all time highs
Not sure I agree with those suggesting that a deal with £’s in is the only thing that will move the SP! I agree that is what will move the SP to many multiples of where we are now, but many/most, small/medium sized “pharma” stocks don’t make a profit, but have large MCaps based purely on their pipeline and potential.
This new today imo is the first step towards the BoD setting out the pathway and I fully expect this to begin to be priced in in the coming days and weeks, even without a deal in the short term.
Even so the SP should be loads higher than this. Last year it was 8p-9p in anticipation for the deal and we have much more info this time round.
Going by the last TR1's our 3 sellers still have a total holding of 86,768,987m shares between them, at least CPI are drip feeding very slowly so barely noticeable and DG holding is a good sign. My hope is AC/DT have set a target to get down to and then keep the rest for the ride and the potentially huge upside to come.
Holdings
CPI = 39,360,00
DT = 23,150,000
AC = 24,258,987
Show us the money Anne!
Spot on Chablard.!!!!!. We need commercial, not technical updates to move the share price.. Hopefully todays news is a precursor to that.
As we slip back into the red, it's not the kind of news to move markets. It boils down to the bottom line. Deals and cash.
That's the only thing that'll drag this out of the doldrums.
And those deals have to be strong enough to absorb the tens of millions of shares held by our three main sellers.
Like it or not.
ATB
they seem to forget 001 ,004 .
hope it dont lead up the garden path !
I guess we can safely say 2.7p looks to be very near if not the bottom.
I want to see an RNS with ££'s on too, that'll make the market sit up and take notice, if we have significant money coming in we're in a completely different place to where we are now.
In the meantime, sellers still selling even with all this potential upside to come.
We await the management road map!.
mm's aren't there to understand what a company does or its news, they are there purely to make a market. They have a big seller at the moment, hence the muted reaction.
so regarding todays RNS ,like few already intimated the lack of knowledge by mms ( a few pi`s on here will have far greater knowledge than them !) so when do people envisage monetisation ie an income so we issue an RNS that has ££ signs in it
"This is just a tiny step forward on a very long journey"
That's what I'm worried about. It's already been a long and weary journey.
''These results underpin NXP002's potential and demonstrate that further development of NXP002 for the treatment of IPF is warranted."
Her last line. Now we wait for how, which will be the big RNS imo as it needs to go into human trials.
This is just a tiny step forward on a very long journey.
Agree with AB and FX. Lets just see how the news flow plays out this month and might not be worth having an interview if there is news on multiple pipelines to discuss together. I already like how Anne has decided not to hide what NXP002 is, as it doesn't make sense to hide it from the world if you are trying to sell it. All those googling researchers at big companies will know who to call if they want a tranilast derivative that is up for sale.
