Ha bobminor, just call me Handy, don’t wish to upset anyone either !

@Gene, Im ade that mistake with a fill / kill recently and it was so frustrating m - had a sell order at 27p on SYM, the price actually hit 30p before falling yet the Fill / Kill didn’t execute! Ended up selling for 24p once it had finally cleared.
it really is an avoid when buying a volatile open.
No fees for the sipp account?
Yeah as long as you do a certain amount of trades a month, I don’t do loads
Thats good. Is that with IG?
Hey Handy_bloke - just to prevent any paranoia _ I too have had the same problems with HL - in the past and worry slightly about the future for when I want to sell - biggyuns like this stock - I too have complained and they brushed me off too - as you looking elsewhere if things do not improve - great day here and for all LTI's - GLA.
Have you noticed that they are a lot quicker to drop their prices than they are to put them up!
Also placed a 'fill or kill' order with them before open only to find that it stopped me trading the stock for the opening 10-15 minutes "whilst their computer thought about it" . Had wrongly assumed it was immediate and instantaneous. Rang HL and they said that there was nothing they could do about it!! After all that the order failed and it cost me money to buy later manually. Might join you at IG!
£3 a trade and no fees
I just bought £25k with HL no problems at all. Is your software up to date on your phone/iPad?
Need to ditch HL and go with another company like ii or aj bell etc who are much cheaper. I pay £3.99 a real time trade as a super investor.
I find ig really good, rarely any difficulty buying and selling too
Just off phone from HL trading desk after highlighting the anomalies not only with NCYT, but I had the same problem yesterday with other shares
Said I could only get correct pricing with dummy runs
Quote” there isn’t a problem on my screen, there’s a lot of volatility “ etc etc, in a nutshell, wasn’t arsed about it even when I said they could be losing clients .
Will use IG to check pricing and if no better by end of week will jump ship with them
6.4m shares traded in France, 1.4m on AIM, that’s 11% of the share capital in the first hour!
Oops 583.50
HL finally updated the share price. About bloody time.
I also use HL, I just paid 383.50 for 686 shares.
Bought*
I just both on HL, albeit a lot higher than I’d have liked. Got in at 583p, think there’s lots of upside from here still.
AJBell every bit as bad, constantly getting "no Trade' on AIM shares. Wonder what the lost opportunity cost to PIs is.
I've found IG to be excellent for order execution and spreads. Dealing fees are also quite minimal on the platform. Never been with HL but have had issues with other brokers, IG support is also very good.
I'll 2nd that
Fed up of doing dummy buys/sells on HL to get the correct price, need to sort themselves out before a mass exodus of clients move to other platforms...
Thanks Watching2.
Always IG. Very easy to use. N never had a problem with it
TWOSHEDS, the problem is you need to pay for level 2 on any site. I trade with HL, however use sharepad for level 2 for the correct prices. HL is always delayed.
