I just worked out that me and my brother contributed appropriately 0.5% of all votes required. Surely with everyone else's holdings we can reach 100% of the 25% required.
It's abit like myself, and our mate JJ holding a fiver each in a company, and Graham the other x mulliion, and me and JJ can out vote anything with our tuppence worth..
and just to make it clear i told her my shares are with Interactive Investor
Not sure how it would make any sense any other way!
and here is the reply!
Its one vote per share – so your vote was very helpful!
Thank you

i have emailed Mandy to try to get an answer to this question
Lol, wouldn't take them that long to count the number of forms, of course it goes on shares.
Thanks.
It was the same in voting to accept the buyout offer in the demise of SXX.
Alwarwick, that makes no sense. If I shareholder holds a majority they make it easier to contest a resolution due to the majority they hold.
When they say 25% of votes, they mean they need roughly 17,750000 worth of shares voted for.
I think it might be worthwhile checking with your broker Jonathan, some do only class you as having one vote but not all. A couple of years back there was an issue with Unilever share holders and I quote:
"In the case of Unilever, many investors held their shares in nominee accounts, but the company stated that the large brokers would only count as a single shareholder vote, instead of counting the votes of every shareholder in the nominee account. This is not something that happens regularly, and in case of similar votes in the future, investors looking to have their say should understand how their stock in a specific company is held, look out for communications from the company if they are held via a CSN and get in touch with their nominee company if they are held via a nominee account"
Maybe it pays to check? GLA
All votes cast are 1 vote. It makes no difference how many shares you have.
Am I right in assuming that shares held in a nominee broker account will be classed as only 1 vote?
not many days left in September
watching for news on
The Company continues to make good progress in the development and launch of a central lab-based serology test for the detection of the IgG antibody to COVID-19. To date, the product has demonstrated significant levels of sensitivity and specificity for detection of IgG in patients 14 days after testing positive for COVID-19 by a PCR test. Novacyt now expects to launch a CE Mark approved product by the end of September 2020.
I hope Mandy has some help! What with counting votes and actioning AGM pass codes the poor girl won't know whether she's coming or going!
Hi James,
I’ve been flat out processing proxies so not managed to get to it yet, I will be sorting it out today though.

Wilson, donno, I’ve just emailed Mandy about it as I’ve not been registered either. I did this on the website prior to submitting my vote. I’ll let you know what she says.
i have registered. i just rechecked and could not find a code. i though i was only going to have to insert my relevant email address, but i cannot find confirmation of that!!!
Anybody registered for the Agm?
Have you had your code back to watch it ? and was it by email.
Mandy said the company would know today how many votes they have, no news will be good news.
No idea about the timeline, however they’ll have to come up with a plan of how to reach those shareholders who didn’t vote.
