Agent interest rates announced January 30th, before Brexit.
interest rate drop, will depend on how successful the Brexit out come is.
Amers, I'm pretty sure a ramping wrongun persuaded to invest on clon a few months ago? Good to see your new stance on the subject!
First things first, we need to avoid an interest rate drop, which I think we will narrowly.
Amers, no one here has any impact on the share price. Ultimately, buy if you want to and don’t if you don’t like it.
Doesn’t affect my wallet.
Just don’t like the fearmongers. Metro is due a ton of news in coming weeks - place your bets and that’s it. I’m long and have been long since my first post here last May.
LTI and JD please stop all this non-sense, as posting puts no fear in me for buying or selling. ILLBET will tell you, that I am holding Metro, when TCG was live and kicking and he warned me off it. I didn't listen, as my gut feeling was saying it is good buy for long term. Just like I bought Fevertree today, as my gut feeling says it will recover £2 tomorrow. Rampers/de-ramper should have no bearing what so ever, as should you invest or not. Metro will not go under, So keep your knickers on or I'll report both of you for being nuisense.
JD
''Undertone of fear''
How much fear does my placing a bet on Metro put into you?
“ Is saying that the criteria has not yet been met, me for me to make a large investment ,something to get annoyed about?”
Of course not.
Many here and waiting for news to jump in with 5-6 figures. The latter for myself.
The problem posters have is not the criteria.
You seem like a smart dude, you know Exactly what it is. Undertone of fear.
JD
How negative was my having a bet on Metro?
JD
What nonsense.
''“Going bust” and other carp verbiage''
In response to BS going on about me having a bet on 'risky' Metro rather than Lloyds where I have a large shareholding , I was making the point that even if they went bust I would lose less than £200.
Understand?
Is that something to get annoyed about?
Is saying that the criteria has not yet been met, me for me to make a large investment ,something to get annoyed about?
The undertone of every message is negative. For me: I reduced at a profit after Odey increased as seems the shorts are expecting bad Q4 results so an opportunity to buy lower.
Might also miss some upside if shorts are wrong, which happens. That’s my current position and still holding a lot of Metro at a good average here. Doesn’t mean one needs to spread Negative undertone - which is why posters here are annoyed.
“Going bust” and other carp verbiage. You know what you’re doing.
But again: this BB and metro retail has been through hell so not much you can scare us with. :-)
Cud
and I suppose you also think that 1+1 =3
Cuddo why is it PI's never tell the truth here, as to if they are shorters/LTI or Day trader. I couldn't careless if any one knew that I trade little, but often and some are for long term, some short.
JD
Was it 180p average or was that someone else?
JD
Is it my positive bet position?
What is your position on Metro looking like?
JD
Spit it out, what precisely are you annoyed about?
Snige
STILL on the sulk
https://daystobrexit.co.uk/
I’m glad I’m not the only one annoyed by the Newly present Interim chief carp officer of this bb: lti. :-)
probably a dead heat snige, I think lovemelongtime wants me to start sharing my pearls of wisdom on banking stocks on the Lloyds BB
LTI,
"whereas Metro are capable of a distribution of Zero"
A better return than your contribution to this bb,lol.
Yes ups and downs on a share price everyday.
The difference though, Lloyds are capable of returning 10% of the current share price by way of distributions back to shareholders each year, whereas Metro are capable of a distribution of Zero.
and down at least £700 today on Lloyds - take the positives..
Currently up £2.40p.
LTI pls give it a rest now, Bigsmoke has been told off and is now on notty step.
