Just listened to the Interview, and it was much as I expected after reading the remarks. Not very inspiring, but not that bad. I did find I was scratching more than usual during the interview..

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one forgetting to use the opinion drop down every single time I post.
Good and valid points. One will never get 100% of the location data from people. But you would get a lot of insight of movements of (specific) people and that could be very helpful on itself. Where are or have people been gathering too much or where will there be a risk there being too many people? (Using statistical analysis, a.i. and others)
That itself is very useful. How to prevent people from going to a higher risk place? Intervention needed? Or, given, when and where people have been where to most likely expect an outbreak? Improving logistics. You know where medical staff, equipment will be needed mostly. That could be useful if dealing with limited resources.
I don’t think total control over people’s location data is needed.
But one sure could do anything possible to improve on the data collection meaning meaning that people just use there phones as they’ve always done but there will be no opt out for regulated data collection by the government for Covid-19 uses (for as long as it’s a threat).
Meanwhile I’ve adjusted my opinion from strong buy to buy.

I get your point, but you can't force anyone to give up their location data unless you are prepared to litigate and supply them with suitable smartphones and make it mandatory that they carry them 24/7 365.25 which will clearly never happen.

I haven't listened to the interview yet, but having met Mark he does have the appearance of a 45 year old school boy imo. Both Mark and David have a slightly startled demeanour..
Still massive potential, I just hope they are not beginning milking it !!

I’m not a ramper/deramper with anything at all but having not heard really anything from him at all I feel the interview could have been a bit more inspirational. If you were interviewing him for a job there and he’s sitting saying what’s the word for this and that you wouldn’t be impressed let alone being the top guy!!!
Well with people not being mobile, staying at home, it’s no surprise location based advertising isn’t happening right now. We knew that.
They’re in talks though with relevant people (also public transport, government) with regards to providing and interpreting mobility data. It did not sound like they were in talks with the real decision makers, but it’s a start.
This is an unknown situation and no one knows how Covid-19 will influence our lives in the (immediate) future. So, yes, he can only be cautious.
It’s clear though that if we regain mobility we’d probably be more locally focused. This does make locally targeted advertising more important. And requires that information about peoples location is accurate. LSAI’s Verify will benefit.
If we can’t get Covid-19 under control with help from the current Bluetooth app, I’m sure people are going to have to give up part of there privacy, if not voluntarily then by legislation. That would be beneficial for LSAI. I do hope it doesn’t get to that point though and that we can just turn to our normal lives soon.
The interview is reflecting reality. We know the circumstances we’re living in right now and we know it impacts LSAI’s business. The business outlook improves with every day that passes. Location based advertising will grow and so will LSAI.
Not to be on the negative side but there’s not a whole lot of inspiration and confidence comes from that interview...just my take on it though
