JTD.............. exactly..........B
yrabsmurruc - please do not be offended, I was not criticising you and appreciate your input, my annoyance is totally reserved for the BoD.
The fact you are enterprising enough to contact Steve is to your credit, but it is no way for a company to conduct IR - you should not and would not feel a need to contact a CEO directly if the job was run properly.
Thanks for the interrogation boys and girls............ I have no bat phone.... I simply send an e mail to: steve.flavell@loopup.com and wait to see if he answers........... he has responded every time............. IR are useless....... maybe Steve is useless............. but in any case, I thought it a public service to share what he says with the BB.... If it is not what you want, I will stop............. B
yrabsmurruc - I trust what you say and I'm sure Bigsmoke does, but I believe the CEO has spun you a yarn based of some truths but missing out some of the factors. This year is different from previous years because we were denied out opportunity to raise concerns directly with the BoD - we need IR .
On Bigsmoke's point - I can find no contact details for IR on the company's website or who is responsible (part of my complaint) - so does Steve hold the responsibility for IR comms? Think about it, your interactions suggest no one is employed to deal with it or Steve would direct you to them - so in practice it's not being dealt with unless you pester them - proves my case I believe, no IR!!!
not picking a fight. just wondering why you appear to have a batphone to the (co)CEO
bs........... I only report what I am told. If the CEO choses to be economical with the truth, not a lot we can do about it , apart from sell up and find a CEO you trust. Probably not many of those about on AIM. B
wait for the news , as said before the CEO has some payback on last years broker report
Sorry, I do not believe that yrab. What, they wanted to say there was a spike in business but they couldn’t capitalise?? This year we have international licensing. Must be something to shout about.
yrabsmurruc
thanks....so..when is the excitement planned for this year? ..
England win the Euro2020 football and LoopUp announce big deals ...a tie in announcement :-) lol
Poker. I asked Steve F about the lack of an AGM statement and he said that last year was a "one off" as they had seen the rapid Spike in business [covid/lockdown related] and wanted to tell everyone about it. That suggests that there is nothing of similar excitement to cause an AGM statement this year.....B
jointhedots
I have taken it that the BOD are not in a position where they can answer the questions that inevitably shareholders want to ask.....most of the questions would probably involve having to give out market sensitive information which they just are not in a position to do...just yet
I hope I am not being naive on that ..but I am going along that route ..for better or for worse !!
There was no AGM statement ...which supports that notion that information isnt yet ready .... if there had been an AGM statement and no shareholder follow up questions on what was talked about ..then the alarm bells would ring some how...
We are all dealing with the same issue...merely one of fighting the patience needed ...and those that put in these sells constantly know that and hope we will give up....I try and ignore all the trading....
I am not selling....for sure....not until at least I know from the BOD what the state of play is....they will make me decide ..not some traders
I am in AGM ..the last couple of months there too the share price has been stripped down by a plague of locust ALGO bots ..day after day after day ..
At last today ...a break through and a 15% rise ..but a recovery rise from ridiculous sell down mind you
Whatever is going on in the background here is exactly the same whether the share price is 65p or 75p ...until the news comes to explain what has been achieved...
.."sellers might know something" ..and all that stuff...you either take it on board and get out or just keep your mind focused and stick to what you believed and what you decided to do....
Good luck to all
for comparison [different sectors, so not a direct comparison, but it made me chuckle and worth a share]........ OHG has 10 bagged since xmas [now £44M MC and gone from 11p to £1.40p] and has revenues of a couple of million and a load of buildings/assets to do up..... makes me laugh with our revenues of £40M and £13M + cash in the bank and an MC of £35M..... maybe Loop should be doing up houses rather than doing up shareholders......B
Now guys, lets not start comparing sizes, wrt this BB it doesn't matter who is holding the biggest or your shareholding size, the importance to each is on par from my viewpoint , both have valid points to make.
IMO we are almost all on the same mission yet maybe not on the page and I suspect there are no shorters posting on this BB. I really do, no one is vicious or dishonest enough, the usual giveaway signs, I do think there are those, CHR155, Richard et al, who want to trash the SP purely to get a cheap buy price though and the odd idiot that just takes pleasure in upsetting others (trolls).
The difficulty is that some think we should not air our criticism and others, me included, vent their concerns - neither group is going to change viewpoint.
I think the BoD are disgraceful in ignoring shareholders but I suspect they have good reason that they can't share, I hope so because if it's just because they can't be arsed that is despicable and unforgivable.
To put it into perspective I'll use a statement from a company that likely has few PI's invested RNSed their AGM arrangements this morning, for me shows where Loopup BoD is being disrespectful, note the reasoning for engagement and that they are using MS Teams, ironically they could even be using Loopup:
"Post-AGM Video Conference Arrangements
Despite these changes to the format of the AGM, your Board is mindful of ensuring that Shareholders have an opportunity to engage with them. The Board therefore proposes to host a video conference call via Microsoft Teams after the AGM has concluded at 2.50 p.m. on Monday 28 June 2021 and to address questions which might otherwise have been raised by Shareholders attending the AGM in person. If any Shareholder would like to participate in that conference, please send an email to the following address notifying the Company of your interest: azim.khan@volvere.co.uk .The Company will then provide participating Shareholders with an invitation to join the conference. Please note that entry to the conference will be restricted to Shareholders only."
As I said, unless there is a "good reason" for delaying contact with shareholders it is despicable.
Haha 3 inches I wish (-;. On your second comment I have to ask the question what would you say is a big player here ?
Stew, I don’t want to see what your holding. Could be 3 inches. Anyway, don’t underestimate others. Some players here which could make you look silly.
Haha short I would love you to see the size of my holding.
Not me, but some might think you are short stew..
Consistent drip every day. Virtually worthless at the moment, now considerably less than one years revenue. But look! Over there ! There are stocks trading 100 times there revenue
