The chaps in parliament seem intent on giving Boris a 50 seat majority. Never seen turkey's voting for Xmas quite on this scale. What do they suppose will happen come election time?
Bercuck stumps Boris again
More here John, this whole brexit fiasco is getting beyond a joke.

Unbelievable the buses were paid by Amber Rudds brother.

some I would think were non 'stop Brexit' marchers. Just people caught up in it going about their business or looking out of curiosity. So may as well round it down to 70,000
Avocet, don't believe all you read/hear, there was just under 79,000 approx, a large proportion were bussed in free of charge.

According to a credible source just over 78,000 marched in London at the weekend of which most were chasing Rees-Mogg and his kid around London

''1 million people marched in London for a second referendum''
You are even exaggerating the organisers put out figure.
They said up to. So could be any number below that couldn't it.
You have to cut their figure at least in half I would think.
A123
Why do they call it 'the peoples vote' march?
surely everyone knows that it is a 'stop Brexit' march.
Let me know when a 'stop Brexit' March reaches over 17.4 million participants.
Figures from at least 2 reliable sources though.

''Nobody voted for no deal''
Intelligence is certainly lacking with some on here.
Have you forgotten. The vote was to leave the EU.
We did not vote for a withdrawal agreement (deal).
Any trade deal negotiations will come after we leave.
and 65 million didn't.
1 million people marched in London for a second referendum. There is a lot of appetite for a second ref. Nobody voted for no deal.
Correct lti there is zero mandate for a referendum. Zero appetite in the public too.
JR
''making a second vote the favourite''
Absolutely ZERO mandate for another referendum.
The country voted in a government offering the 2016 referendum.
The country would need to vote in a government offering a referendum to join the EU
Roo pure delusion ain't the votes in the HoC for a second vote. End of.
Cuckoo
“ In the past we had people of stature in the HoC alas no more”
Yes, we now have people like Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell and Diane Abbott infesting tue House of Commons.
Dinger. That is the way it has always been.In the past we had people of stature in the HoC alas no more.
Pat 2014.Agreed making a second vote the favourite.A full disclosure of the deal would not go amiss also.Credibility will be everything in the vote.
£ holding up well.
Hi Viking Shrimper
Signs of improvement
Maybe the players are finally up for the, survival fight :-)
Go go the black horse
Agree SUFC.Nearly at Tranmere!
Time to buy the FTSE 100 unloved stocks like Lloyd's IMHO
big bounce just waiting to happen
What goes around comes around
Please can we just keep this thread to Lloyds chat.
There are many thousands of chatrooms elsewhere , where everyone can talk about Brexit.
James .. the last thing the Tories want is for a GE without having sorted out Brexit .. they will lose seats in Scotland probably lose seats to Lib Dem’s and possibly to Brexit party .. the question is will those miners in Mansfield vote for the Tories ... GE could lead to hung parliament... Some Tory voters may be uneasy with an alliance with Farage .. 5 million Tory votes voted remain
So what your saying is that 600 plus people who in the HofC are worth more than the 35 million people who voted in the referendum???? That’s not what I call democracy, seems more like China to me !!
Chelsea7.If you are referring to John McDonnell, we heard it all before.Yeah yeah yeah.
Dinger ... there are counter arguments here everywhere.. for example Boris illegal prorogation of Parliament..but as a leaver you will not see that as being un democratic.... We have a strong democracy that is able to scrutinise things ... forget about that being Brexit related and count that as a blessing ... we could be like Venezuela... Sorry I picked the wrong country there ... we could be like Venezuela:):):):):):):):)
