Indeed. The cynical side of me wonders if this was to put off the possibility of us dumping a whole load of them once in our hands?
Cheers Jim,
I've had the same conversation also. Should be sorted next week. It's almost as if they didn't want everyone having their shares at the same time...call me cynical. Any way all looking good for the New Year with both companies finally started to get exciting. All the best
Spoke with them today. Said they were aware of the issue and the delay has been as a result of a delay in receiving them from their broker (?). This has allegedly been sorted and we should have them next week.
I've just contacted AJ Bell. Their corporate action team say everything is in place to show the shares at the correct value etc. But they are waiting for a statement from Automic (who they claim they have been chasing).
It would be interesting to know if individual holders who were contacted by Automic directly are having any problems.
My shares are in a SIPP so I don't have direct access. Maybe that's where the problem lies. Those that have shares held by a custodian ( ie. SIPP) as opposed to individual holders.
It all seems very strange especially when you consider that all the shares are held at the automic share registry.
On the 25/11/2019 keras declared that they ceased to be a substantial holder to the australian stock exchange for 723,750,000
shares.
On the same day the Ewani trust ( Family trust of Dave Reeves I assume) declared that they had become substantial holders of Calidus to the tune of 157,928,655 shares.
All this talk of paying for shares or providing the shares seems ridiculous to me. Automic hold all the shares and it is only a question of who is the owner of any of those shares. The shares can't disappear and if they change hands (apart from as in our case) they have been traded and those trades have to be shown on the ASX.
I can well understand if companies were claiming that they were waiting for the end of the consolidation etc. But claiming the shares weren't issued when the shares are already in issue is ridiculous.
Well suppose will have to keep on pestering them, but all seems a bit cloak and daggers.
Wonder if it was anything to do with the cut off date confusion. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
"The Calidus shares were booked on as a result of a spin off, however after a couple of days the custodian confirmed that the shares hadn't been issued by the company. Therefore, we had to reverse the spin off bookings and these will be booked again when the stock has been issued by the company and booked by the custodian."
The shares are trading now so I have no clue what they are playing at here. Can't get a clearer answer either.
Hi Jim, all a bit confusing they keep going on about being paid for,,,, Emailed Dave and he said he doesn't know what they are on about as all shares have been issued. This is what they said to me
'I have checked with our Corporate Actions team that confirms that the Keras-Calidus spin-off was a non-assured event, this means that IG paid out shares that Calidus has not paid to us.
We are thus currently waiting for Calidus to pay out the shares in order to rebook the positions onto your account.'
No idea what this means in practice, asked for clarification but basically said the same as Bee123,
Have you had any correspondence, all sounds a bit of a mess up...
Not sure I've got time for this campaign oil, but after your vote and words of encouragement I'm going for it ready for next elections ;-)
Just out of interest, did all lth stay in keras, or have we lost some after the distribution? I'm so cr ap at trading I've just stuck with what I had before, share volume wise, and I'll see if the news that is always round the corner, materialises don't think I can stomach another runs saying still waiting for license though, that would finish me off
Me.
BJ - Get in to Politics (Quickly). I'm sure you'll do better than the other BJ and if you can talk out of your ****, then you are a shoe in for Westminster life.
Go BJ - you'll get my vote
I emailed them yesterday and they said this:
"Apparently Keras PLC haven't paid any of the new shares yet. As soon as our custodian will be paid, we will be able to allocato our clients the new shares."
I forwarded it to Keras for clarification.
I would imagine as conveyance solicitors do, our brokers are holding our cash in there accounts for as long as possible for a bit of interest, I think everything must of been done and dusted at th3 point that calidus resumed normal trading after the consolidation, I can't believe they were allowed to throw a consolidation in the midst of distribution, I presumed trading halt was as much to get transfer documents in and dealt with, the consolidation alone only needed a day, sure I've seen consolidations done in 24 hours, I could of course be talking out of my ass haha.
Just my 2 penneth worth
Any one with IG ?
Share allocation still not re-appeared, tried speaking to them no-one seems to have a clue.
Any one else in the same boat??
