Come on BA, it looks like the money might be about to return to the sector...... get everything done so you can showcase what it is we have here..... #qualityisking#fundingisfundamental
Yes INI .... all reported as extending along strike... dont want to say anymore for fear of someone pressing the ramper buzzer...lol
The ore from Ngoualana is being used for the DMS and is not (as I understand it) part of the bulk sample. There is inferred 5.1MT of that declared in the current JORC and it contains the best grade which is amenable to processing through DMS only according to what BA has stated in RNS postings.
I believe the bulk sample is made up of ore from the Sogola Baoule pit and that requires further refinement to produce a premium battery grade product of low impurities.
Correct me if I am wrong but all the current pits are believed to be extendable in terms of the size of the resource?
I am really interested in the results of the testing in China because its the first time ore from a pit has been put through a processing plant. As I understand it the battery that was produced a couple of years ago was from rock chip samples so this testing will provide a lot of clarity to the project viability and we need clarity before the big money will invest in this project.
Soon we will know the truth.
Truth? dont know Daz.
If I was to speculate, id say that the bulk sample sent is from the area that required flotation to achieve the grade. Remember the bulk sample was already in the port before they announced that they had changed the focus of first production to the smaller, better quality area (i apologise as I cant remember which area is which and I dont have the time at the moment to put the correct names to my comment).
That would mean that what is being tested is the larger resource that requires greater processing and the lions share of the CAPEX.
If you wanted to be negative you would say that it looks like we will be designing the dms, and first production off the lab tests....
If you wanted to be positive (and you know I fall on that side) you would say that we are getting real plant data to support the design of the "difficult" , "Expensive" and "Risky" section of the plant, that is KEY to supporting an acceptable 9year LOM (i.e. as BiB has rightly stated, a 3 year mine life would not get funding).
Sound reasonable? it is just speculation though.
You are right Daz, based upon the deliverables it does look tight (depending how far along the various items are....
One point on the bullk sample though, I did a fag packet calc on what the bulk sample means in terms of processing time a while ago.... and from memory it was only a few hours at full plant rate..... not suggesting that they will treat it that way but it might be a single run over a single shift...
It was just a bit of fun and dated back from the time when we were having discussions on what the value of the ore was once refined..... i.e. could we get paid for it .....lol
We could ask Santa for the permit application to be delivered by Rudolph.... just a suggestion
To be fair Daz, if you are right and BA misses the permit submission this year, it will be the biggest miss to date. He has been claiming EOY for a while now. Lets hope it means he intends to meet this one.
Its like the JORC, once they were within 6 months of the final september deadline they set, they did keep to it, even although all the 3rd party work leading up to it was late.
You have to have some hope in life, even although they have slipped on just about every other deadline.
You managed to silence gfd.... and few posters here just to transform it to a crying board??? so sad lot.
stating facts is not ramping, I am not answering BIB. I don't see why non share holders are continually winging in this board. if you don't believe in this company just sell and move. bib does not have shares here.
Restating the post doesn't answer the points posed by BIB Arahim, the reality is that yes the EV explosion is happening but that we are invested in KOD getting to production. If we take as granted that there is a market available for us to supply into, still the challenges of getting there exist. I'm still in and still holding but the fact remains that the SP slide over the last 12 months needs a 3 or 4 bagger from this point simply to recover what looked a modest position to begin with. That's not a problem but its fair to acknowledge the uncertainties at this point.
From the other side BIB, I don't see much in the way of ramping on this share BIB particularly in comparison to discussions on other share boards and particularly when interest in the market hits.
Dealing with unabated ramping at some point is an issue I'm hoping we have to face...
