People just elsewhere chasing gains. It's on a downward trend and is being pushed further.
Avegarge down if you need to, or not if you're over exposed.
My view is that once funding is set out well see a stable SP and when we start production well see the real movement.
However, weve all been shafted on AiM before so no one really knows!
It's not in the Director's interest to dilute. A placing to give enough capital to mine is not really feasible. I think it would mean issuing 30 billion + new shares to raise the 120million needed to begin mining. Imagine that RNS.
Doubled my position on licence news and am now at .40 average. Didn't expect the drop. My only worry is, have I missed something but can't find what if anything yet. Instability in Mali is the only thing I can see but that's not new.
Totally agree with Laverda and others on the idea that we should not dilute further. All IMO and I have been massively wrong on a few other things recently. Seems investing in businesses with income and profits is not the way forward. For now at least.
Ghoti, apart from small change current money 1 or 2m, there should not be dilution with the lithium deals available. Offtakes with loan facilities, too many options to list. Before these high prices there was dilution, not now.
Massively down on kod at the moment? bought in at .45p so I am here for a long time by the looks of things? Hoping for .50p and an exit in the new year
Saw this on Firefinch's site yesterday, categorically denying rumours of a fundraising:
https://www.investi.com.au/api/announcements/ffx/ce295c0d-773.pdf
I think KOD are in a similar position - several options open to them, no the least the fact that Firefinch are building all the requisite processing equipment literally next door.
If you're interested in KOD (and you are on this board), keep an eye on Firefinch, lots of parallels, including an updated feasibility study, taking spod 5 into account. It comes out this month and will be at least 6 weeks ahead of anything Kodal release. Be good insight.
Cheers, Laverda.
Pjt, yes and some poorly researched people will expect the big capital raise as that is the normal procedure. I was expecting a small one for additional spod 5 drilling, maybe 2m max, because spod 5 was not in the original plan, but that has not happened, so far. Our big finance facility will be in 2022. It could be anything a very big cheque and a JV, or an offtake agreement with a cheap or even free loan facility. We will see.
Last time I saw something like this it ended in a fund raising exercise. Make sense?
the world of aim. as ive learned in the past is you see a lot of red before anything happens.
but what you have to focus on is what you invested in. For KOD we invested in a part-owned lithium filled land with some possible gold prospects in other locations.
we now have a fully owned lithium mine with actual gold prospects.
we don't have a way to get it out yet, but everything in its stride.
these are the facts and what your money is invested in.
its going to take a while before the lithium is pulled from the ground.
in true aim fashion its going to bounce around until then.
il admit I was over excited and estimated high numbers early year and also on ML however when it didn't I shrugged as nothing negative changed we gained a positive. aim being aim. leave the playbook at home.
regarding the SP anything can happen in the short term but until the fundamentals or situation changes there is no reason for this not to go north.
RE someone mentioned a takeover. i belive that in may about 82% of the company was in the public hands. for someone to acrue enough shares we should have seen the sp plump quite a bit or a new significant holder appear.
AIm being aim. prospects still good
everyone hold your hats while doing your own research :)
happy Friday and have a great weekend
Interesting to watch, two big sells totalling 11m shares are the difference between the buys and sells and the share drops nearly 10%. They could keep buying in small amounts and dumping in large amounts and clicking 10% if that continues. The 1 and 2m buys will start dropping in again if that is what they are doing.
very sad, KOD was one of my bankers
could be wrong but fear a nasty game is going on.. i hope not

It's scary to see how low this has and continues to slump. We all waited for the License, thinking it would be the lift we wanted but no chance. Unbelievable that the price has almost halved since being granted the License - unreal.
I've been in here a long time. Was showing 58% profit, now single digits. One more drop and I'll be in the red. Not selling though, this will come good..........
Town Terrier feel for you mate. When I first looked at KOD the experts where predicting 0.55p by the end of this year. In my humble opinion ( and with very little knowledge of the industry) I felt it would go higher, although 0.55 seems along way off for now ? Who knows.
As for selling KOD sell everything else you have to hand; the mother in law, your partner, the car, the cat, the dog anything but KOD.
Seriously good luck in whatever you sell, hope you get the best price you can.
I am interested in what people on here think the SP MAY go too in the long term 2 -3 years, only a guessing game I appreciate that but sensible suggestions would be useful.
Good luck all

TownTerrier - you could look at this:

But how accurate it is, I'm not sure. Another user posted it a couple days ago
