Wish I had done the same. Does look like a traders share, good if you get in and out at the right times within a six month window.
Medium term worries that airports / customs business is dead with lower travel volume, and healthcare budgets focused on Covid. Ventilators just short term noise and distraction.
Real lack of communication from the company is a major issue, either nothing to report or bod are poor and unnatural communicators - likely a mix of both.
Matthew. I was invested a long time ago and sold , And I'm back , that's why I have started posting again. I wished I had reinvested in April this year at 10p, but didn't. I recently bought some more and to be honest I don't mind if it tests 10 p again, as I'll buy some more. It's very likely kMK will get over 20 p again and possibly much further ...so if you want to sell at 24 p again it's probably a good bet to buy the share at today's prices or cheaper.
As the SP slowly and steadily drifts down Vascular is still here after many years talking the SP up. Glad I got out a 28.
Yes manufactured in Vietnam. Two thousand order. But it looks like your right. Shame.
So the Ventilators were made in Vietnam? If so they are not the ventilators made by Kromek, simply the same model made under licence from Metran Co.
more here, again translated into english
More than 1,000 MV20 ventilators have been donated, providing timely support to local and hospitals in anti-epidemic and COVID-19 treatment.
from February 2020, when the COVID-19 translation broke out, the Business Association of District 1, Van Lang University and Van Thinh Phat Group actively promoted project to manufacture 2,000 breathing machines for Vietnam.
This is the second handover of breathing apparatus of Van Lang University and Van Thinh Phat Group, District 1 Business Association (Ho Chi Minh City) to the Government of Vietnam and localities.
Eight localities to receive this number are Quang Nam, Hue, Da Nang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong and Ho Chi Minh City. We think that universities must also solve problems of the community, society and the country. In the process of manufacturing ventilators, we do not care how much it costs, but we want to comply with the schedule and quality as committed with the Government.
I seem to remember KMK said in their RNS hat the ventilators were for sale in the UK and globally.
Well form this information they seem to have Vietnam covered with at least a 1000 units.
Compos MV20 is the name given to Kromek's new ventilator. Manufactured in UK by Kromek under license from Metran Co., Ltd (“Metran”), a Japan-based leading developer of medical ventilator products and technology to support the COVID19 response.
https://www.kromek.com/product/compos-mv20-ventilator-covid-19/
Metran is the japanese manufacturer and distributor of the ventilators.
Metran have called this ventilator the ELICIAE MV20. If you visit this page and read the first seven news posts , they are very insightful, imo. They detail the pilot, the success of the ventilator, reviews and a manufacturing award form Vietnam for the MV20 ventilators.
If you then read this translated text (from Vietnamese to English) from here
https://saostar.vn/xa-hoi/chu-tich-hoi-dong-truong-dai-hoc-van-lang-chia-se-y-nghia-may-tho-mv20-20200826134253858.html
It states "Ministry of Health confirm that the MV20 ventilator meets the standards of the ventilator manufactured at Vietnam, suitable COVID-19 prevention. Products are allowed to circulate in Vietnam as well as export without limitation.
and
"On July 27, 2020, the Ministry of Health issued the Decision No. 3335 / QD-BYT for the ELICIAE MV20 ventilator for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. At the same time, on July 30, 2020, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam issued the Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) for the ventilator model ELICIAE MV20."
and
"After more than 5 months of design, adjustment, clinical testing, professional evaluation and mass production, up to now, a total of more than 1,000 MV20 ventilators have been awarded to local, local hospitals, timely support. support the Vietnamese health sector against the COVID-19 epidemic."
So it looks like there may have been delays but they are now over and in just one country they have shifted 10000 units in July20.
