All sold already in placing and its always been end game .
Been her before.
They certainly down make things easy for there reputation
Carry on regardless
Stevehoops - that is a ballsy average down strategy on a company that has produced nothing commercially viable other than a lifelong pension flow for Conroy from shareholder pockets.
I hope for your sake he does deliver!
Now if it's a life style company and remains so.
Why would you hire solicitors, Road agreement, Land compensation from the Finnish Government.
Agree regards frustration and from my pocket I get it.!
But i continue to buy most months for past 8 years.
Yet this company lasted action in cgnr and Kdr appears to be baring fruit at long last. !!
Worth a Punt? I think we far past just a punt now..
Moving on up I would guess.
Only 2 kimberlite in the world !! ready for bulk sampling.
Plenty of Gold ones.

Id echo jdt1990 comments. You wont find many LTH that have too many kind words to say about how the company has been run. Hence two EGMs and one at CGNR. Mainly about time and transparency - you wont get / find much detail on timelines / plans / costs etc just an objective " to make substantial returns for shareholders through the discovery and development of economic diamond deposits in the Finnish sector of the Karelian Craton". I'm not a geologist / mining expert but have enough of a grasp of the basics to understand why Finland could be massive which makes the slow and opaque approach extremely frustrating and vexatious (you'll have to read the letters to shareholders to understand that one). Conroy and his team are very traditional and methodical in their approach and it is no surpirse therefore that many shareholders have become totally disillusioned and feel the company is run by an old man living off past glories, passing board roles to his family to perpetuate a lifestyle. He has constantly funded the company primarily it would seem to maintain a 30% holding and control. Its certainly a share for the long term investor with an appetite to average down at every dilution and consolidation and trade a few of the spikes.
That said I am learning fast there are many other miners in similar doldrums that appear to be severely undervalued. Question is how is any further work towards establishing a mine going to be funded. Answers on a postcard.
jdt1990,
Thank you for having the time to write this text and your views on the company. I sincerely appreciate it.
Indeed, the dilution kills the value for shareholders and I am sorry it has affected you. Mining as well as Oilers are risky shares even without dilution and I have my fair share of risk taking in both sectors, so if I invest here it would not be enough to break the bank.
I will wait a little more to see where the sp settles in the coming weeks. The prospect looks good though. I will read more about KDR and make a decision in the coming weeks.
Once again I am much obliged for your input and wish you good luck here and avct.
Take care

MR Spacetomato. Come across some of your good stuff over on AVCT. If you're looking into KDR I would suggest doing some research on CGNR too and Prof Richard Conroy. He has run these companies as lifestyle companies for many years. I have BEP's in KDR @85p and CGNR @ £2 which might give you an insight into how he has diluted LTH's to oblivion. That being said, it may well be a punt at these prices and a KDR Mcap of £2m, if there was something of any signifcance (other than promising kimberlite pipes which we have been told about time after time) then it may well be worth a punt.
I cant trust the guy enough to put more money in and average down. However, as I said, at these prices, there might a space for it in your "high risk" section.
You should go for a walk Johnny (:-))
Irish
Sell? Ha never. !!!!
Bells ringing for you from a old Teacher.
Its coming I am convinced with plenty of reasech.?
Good morning, lads.
I have just come across KDR after reading the RNS. I used to invest in mining, if I can call that, almost 20 years ago, then moved to oil exploration companies and find myself in pharmas lately, so very rusty.
I will do my own research on KDR this week to get a feeling for it and refresh the little I knew about mining.
However, I would appreciate if some of the KDR veterans would say to a potential small investor thinking of jumping in? I would like to thank you in advance for any views put forward.
Thanks

Still here Irish.... waiting to be proved wrong. Must need a big spade to need a vehicle to carry it.
Would be nice to know what’s involved in getting a mining permit ... I see there is still another hurdle not withstanding how we pay for further exploration.
5.5p and up we go.
Hoops sell up quick and buy me a nice bottle of whiskey.....talking of whiskey have you heard from Sir G lately .
Nice to see some interest here after a long hibernation .
Good luck.
Positive news indeed, and if they do find a pink the SP will go nuts. GLALTHs.
One would assume the folks who own the road own the land ?Hmmmmm
Massive step forward to becoming the first European diamond mine outside Russia.
Its coming!!!
Imho
At least a bit of positive news......onwards and upwards.
I wonder in true KDR style if we will see a couple of buys worth say £3k in total and the sp shooting up 25% (the sp movement generally seems to be independent of what's actually happening lol)
Its coming!!
Karelian Diamond Resources Plc - Lahtojoki Diamond Deposit Update

LAHTOJOKI DIAMOND DEPOSIT UPDATE
Exploration around Lahtojoki diamond deposit to commence
Grant of vehicular access to Lahtojoki and adjacent exploration acreage gains legal force
Karelian Diamond Resources plc (AIM: KDR) is pleased to announce that the Company has been informed by the National Land Survey of Finland that there were no appeals against the grant of rights of way for the Lahtojoki diamond deposit and the adjacent exploration acreage, and as such the grant has now gained legal force.
The Company proposes to commence immediately its exploration programme over the acreage surrounding the deposit. Karelian Diamonds also plans to expedite its technical assessment of the Lahtojoki diamond deposit to which it will now have full vehicular access.
Drilling and sampling information to date, together with other technical information, indicate that the Lahtojoki diamond deposit has the potential to become a profitable open pit diamond mine. Initial sampling also raises the possibility that the deposit has a high percentage gem quality with coloured diamonds present, including pinks.
Exploration around the Lahtojoki deposit is regarded as important, as kimberlite boulders in the surrounding area have been discovered, which are most likely to have been derived from an unknown kimberlite source.
Concurrently, the Board of Karelian Diamonds understands that the National Land Survey of Finland is at an advanced stage in relation to its assessment of land valuations at Lahtojoki. This assessment is the final step in the process of granting a full mining permit to the Company over the Lahtojoki diamond deposit.
Professor Richard Conroy, Chairman, Karelian Diamond Resources plc, commented:
“The grant of vehicular access to the Lahtojoki diamond deposit and surrounding area is a major step forward towards the development of the diamond deposit. I would like to express my appreciation of the fact that no appeals were made against the grant of access.
“I look forward very much to working with the local Roads Committee, and all of the local community, as the Company proceeds with its plans for the development of a diamond mine at Lahtojoki.”
