Should be, minimum wage is £142 per MONTH
The minimum wage guaranteed by law in Brazil stood at 1,039 Brazilian reals per month in 2020.
At double the minimum wage it would be only £80k/month for 300 workers but they probably aren't all full time either.
Can't see it being any more than £100k/month in salaries and Dev should have a few million from the stockpile sales.
Hope it's enough to pay the 300 workers!!
Dev is shipping Gerald's stockpiled ore at commercial rates.
Or should I say Dev as we don't own anything yet ;-)
Aren't we the servicing contractor for Gerald's?
Ta @ EV: Won't waste anymore time on that one then ;)

And whilst we are talking about corrections: the project was valued at $660m in 2012, not $600m. And $1.2B in 2011. ;-) Additionally the exchange rate has moved significantly in our favour since those times. :-)))
yes tomcat-14, now is that tailings or iron ore, some find it difficult to come to terms with a slip up in a podcast.
looks like 50,000t will be the new norm… all 3-ships schedule with that amount now on pier1… chippy + 2 ore… they’ve been shipping over the scheduled 45kt for some time… 50kt might not be the limit… so let’s see what these 3 manage to actually sail with…
DEV: 50kt ;-)

@MBW. Iron ore prices have come off the boil. Shipping rates have soared, and the banks appear to be challenging the next $10m net shipment. I would have sold down to these prices if I didn't believe taking 20% ownership was imminent. Instead I've been adding... ;-)
Bottom two paragraphs of interest:

I'm guessing if we knew where to look we might be able to find out the rates for the next ship? Or is it all hearsay? Surely the indexes are based on more than hearsay? LoL.
Indeed @EV. $10m net goes a long way with today's exchange rates!
Yes and as some seem to forget, the project is also progressing on the ground.
@EV. So that's two Dispatch Conclusions and a named DEV ship. Interesting! :-)))
