AZN 50p by Christmas ??
Tom,
Just try and be nice to NigeCo, also give him some credit. We can all get along even if you don’t like ITV. Anyway what share would you go all in at the moment?
NigeCo,
Nice reveal there.......made a ton of real cash when banks paid good rates. Making money now is ok but keeps losing value. Lucky man, I’m so jealous..........teach me!
He will soon be going back on the naught step (filter) BernhardLonger, I just thought with a good day for ITV that I would give him a little of what he dishes out. He will move on when the share price continues it's recovery.
TomTit.................. "Nigella still getting her knickers in a twist over my investments.
I am in the biggest names. I have spread my risk. No watching every trade in ITV praying for a recovery to recoup my losses. 2020 saw me earn biggest sums of my life. Can you say the same?"
Just unfiltered TomTit for a laugh at his expense.
"2020 saw me earn biggest sums of my life. Can you say the same?"
Tom my dear fellow, if you only knew. I'm not one to boast, but I will make an exception this once. I made my wealth and retired before my 29th birthday, most of my wealth is tied up in property. I invest in shares for a little interest. a gamble if you like. If I was to lose every penny that I have invested in my shares portfolio it would make no difference to my quality of life. Sorry to disappoint you. Also Tom, I'm not the pensioner that you think that I am, I'm 54 years of age, I think that you're about 43, so not a big difference in us apart from one of us needs to work for a living and one doesn't.
A bit of friendly advise Tom, don't gamble on the stock market with borrowed money, it may come back to bite you. In fact it already is doing with AstraZeneca. Tut-tut.
H-hi........ "Itv can rally harder than this.......damn these airlines that are bleeding cash! ITV is a perfect reopening trade......adverts will come back at a premium because every business want to get bookings in early."
Agreed H-hi, not forgetting the football Euro's in June, nice boost to advertising will recover this share price to 160p by year end.
Tui takes it I think. The 0.50p UT closing price didn't help ITV I'm afraid.
Onwards and upwards, looking forward to the results next week.
I see that AstraZeneca are struggling to get above £68, TomTit bought at £80 LOL, he would be almost breaking even had he not sold ITV at 82p having bought in at 120p. Chasing your losses is a mugs game, brokers want you to chase them.
Itv can rally harder than this.......damn these airlines that are bleeding cash! ITV is a perfect reopening trade......adverts will come back at a premium because every business want to get bookings in early.
TUI is higher than ITV
What about TUI?
We have beaten MCap of Martens, RSW, AVST, ECM, RMG.
Currently ITV appears to be at 100th position.
Looks good to me, by my calculations only Weir Group beats ITV and that's only because the shares staged a late rally this afternoon after having an absolute shocker today !
Lets see what the FTSE committee decide later.
119.45 close, looking good to me.
GLA
Both Weir Group and Dr. Martins had absolute shockers today, if ITV is uncrossed at anything above £1.20 they could be back in the FTSE !!!!
Tom, think I'd prefer to hold and take my chance. That strategy has paid off before otherwise you can end up in a worse situation I guess.
P
Of course I was thinking of idiots who buy into overpriced astrazeneca and watch it go down every day after for the past six months while this has gone up and up about 100% in that time. Guess some people just are failures in the stock market and like to fake it.
Well you don't have to hold. Some people hold shares for years hoping they get back up in price and miss out on making far more if they just sold and moved on. Not saying you should just saying it is not always the right move.
Although I'm pleased to see this heading in the right direction I've no option but to hold. With an average around £2 at over £40,000 what choices do I have.
Good luck to anyone in a similar position.
P
Still holding all shares, plenty of good ITV news to come. GLA
Sold out this morning at just over 119p. Good luck to all holders for Tuesday and hopefully see you again Wednesday lol
This is ticking up very nicely now. I think if today's budget is well received by the markets, and the results next week are favourable, then the SP should increase to a higher level, and certainly above 120 IMHO
Closing in on 120p - may breach this if we get an encouraging budget - let's see
gla dyor etc
Nice.
Took some more off the table just now, will be an interesting few days, budget today, FTSE shuffle announcement this afternoon, a clockwork numbnut article from the Sunday Times at the weekend and figures on the 9th !!
