I wander if the re-fitters next door (MJM) to H&W are on the acquisition list? would certainly complement the business :-)
Maybe next year when we are settled.
Christatrdg, morning yes hope so ,thanks for video of ships in Belfast link guys very nice !!:(),Tango yes we may see a decent move up next few weeks and some news along the way gla.
Judging from the attached Spanish press article it seems Navantia is struggling to extend its current pipeline of contracts. Hopefully this allows H&W more leverage to negotiate in potential joint ventures.......

I took a drive down to Belfast earlier and it's a very impressive sight to see the 2 Viking ships docked back to back. There really was quite a stir in the area with a lot of folk stopping, taking photos, etc.
We honestly do get cruise ships coming to Belfast regularly, lol, however I think the novelty for us locals is that you can get to less than 50 metres from the 2 ships and see the sheer size of them, rather than seeing them from a distance to where they normally dock across the dock channel at the cruise ship docking.
The 3rd Viking ship is afloat just outside the Building dock and the Stena Europe is in dry dock looking very small in comparison.
I remember JW stating about 15 months ago that the SP would catch up, Well I think we are on the verge of that now and the next few weeks will be "SP" transforming. SI- to answer your query earlier JW could just announce total contracts to date combined and by not giving specific contract details would not be defaulting on any NDA's- and that would update the market. IMHO
Thanks Speedy_Gonzalez Great post.
Thanks Dawski. That's not my video nor me speaking, though the narrator could prove a valuable source as "our man on the ground" in Belfast as he seems to be an avid ship fan. He has an interesting "Titanic related" playlist:

Hi Cookiecrew2019 - I am fully aware of the potential of H&W et al but I had misread an earlier posting & it was not until I read the article about the Olsen ships that I realised that they were not H&W bound & was disappointed. However I am expecting more ships in the forthcoming months & hopefully the ML hence 'Strong Buy'.
Wonderful footage and thank you ever so much Speedy .. love the Belfast accent by the way !!

Dawski. You asked for an aerial shot showing Viking Sun and Stena Europe together.........
Here's my gift to you:

Chris ,more orders will follow imho along with ML licence ,they don't pay 6 million for a floating terminal, buy H&W assets, bring ships into dock for maintenance /repairs and hold warrants at 5p if they didn't think they will be going places, plus there's one thing that might be brought forward by Boris on Tuesday ,the contracts to build navy /boarder patrol ships which had been put back ,kick start the economy?,comon Boris this is your chance !!!
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ four ocean ships to move to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities
The article:
'Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ four ocean ships, currently in Scotland’s Firth of Forth, are to begin moving to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities from today (Thursday, 28th May) to allow for more efficient running of the vessels.
The four ships – Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch – sailed to the Firth of Forth when Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines announced its pause in operations on 13th March.
Black Watch will be the first of the ships to relocate to Bab****’s facilities in Rosyth, and is expected to be alongside this morning.
Boudicca will also go alongside tomorrow (Friday), with Balmoral and Braemar to follow early next week.
Peter Deer, Managing Director at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:
“When we paused our operations back in March, we had an initial date of 23rd May to resume cruising again. Unfortunately, this has not been possible, and so we have had to reconsider the running of our four ships until such a time that we can set sail once again.
“Moving our ships to Bab****’s Rosyth facilities and having them alongside in port allows us to run a more efficient operation, including the general maintenance of the ships, crew changes and refuse collection.
“I would like to thank Forth Ports for all of their support over the past two months while our ships have been at anchor in their waters. We are looking forward to returning to Forth Ports, Port of Rosyth, when our normal cruising operations can resume.”
Last month, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines confirmed that it would be extending its pause in sailings beyond 23rd May 2020 in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and continues to assess all upcoming cruises on a weekly basis.
Any guests who are booked onto cancelled sailings will be contacted by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, with at least 30 days’ notice prior to the planned departure date.'
Edit: Pity its not H&W

The publicly available research report showed a cash flow of approximately 10m from May 20 to April 21 and another approx 10m in the following 12 months. Given the recent orders received and positive outlook, I think these numbers could very well be reasonable. If we value H&W at 8 or 10 times cash generation, then this would give a value of between 80m and 100m - significantly above where we are today. Even with a conservative scenario of only 5m annual sustainable cash generation this share is undervalued by more than half. This excludes any potential upside from IM and the FSRU. Perhaps the ML for IM is getting in the way of a proper valuation of H&W. Just putting it out there.
The UK is doing well with laid up Cruise Liners. The Link is with the Fred Olsen Webby Site which my old computer here cannot attach sadly ( am awaiting some profit from the ML to update my old faithful !!) but Balmoral, Braemar , Boudicca and Black Watch ( which have been lying in the Firth of Forth since March 2020) are now moving in two's to the Dock ( where in fact they sail from for the UK market and which they call "home".) They await " preparation for more efficient operation " which is code I suspect for post Covid alterations .a bit like what I suspect is with our beauties. No doubt someone can attach the link !
Think that's what Speedy posted a link to earlier ,Lottie. :)
LNG does seem to be gaing ground as a transition fuel though.
And who else is out in Africa singing up LNG contracts, no other than good old Vimto.
It is a few months old now but I saw this link on my spreadsheet yesterday.
https://nairametrics.com/2019/12/16/vitol-signs-10-year-deal-to-buy-nigerias-lng/
However. On a positive note. Page 18 of Saturdays Telegraph. UK to invest £1bn in Mozambique gas pipeline. A senior government source was quoted as saying "LNG was an important transition fuel as we work to reach the ambitious target of net zero emissions by 2050". If this offical thinking in the government, all should be well.
Si, my mistake, apologies. I was looking at the end July news due.
Morning, Tango. So, any financial update would have to break with convention unless it was included as part of something else entirely.
Up to now they have been reticent to release details of contracts. Which I guess is par for the course. NDA's and such.
I'm just looking for a way that they could update the market, other than... you know, that other thing. :)
I previously thought figures were due in August but after looking it was clear they are not due till Jan, Which is even more important we get an update NOW-ISH.
Just so I'm on the same page, what interim figures are due soon, Lottie?
I have been back and forth through previous years RNS's to see what might be due.
I'm eager to see some figures for the first six months trading of H&W. Our first ever operating revenues. :)
But I can't seem to see anything that might be due anytime soon.
We've already had the interims on the 30th of April. ( 6 month period up 31st Jan 2020)
Previous years was on 17th of April.
Before that we had the final results on the 8th of January. ( year ending 31 July 2019)
Previous year it was the 7th of January.
So, if the current FY doesn't end till the end of next month what figures are due?
I know we get random project updates, the odd strategy update and even the occasional contract RNS.
But the only thing I can see due is the Sales and Purchase Agreement for the FSRU, on or before 31 July 2020.
And overdue is confirmation of an extention to the term sheet from Vimto. ( 11 June )
What have I missed?
