Proposed 9M pound placing at 0.35p. Just over 10% discount to closing sp.
Navantia enhancing their digital design and manufacturing toolset can only benefit the bid offered by Team Resolute (including H&W) when the FSS competition resumes.

Now this is big news typo apols
Now th a is big he imho, lets hope infra have timed this right with storage facilty
This power station is less than 10 miles from Islandmagee and is proposing going from coal to gas powered, as well as a few other energy options, hydrogen, solar, etc.
To power 500,000 homes it gonna need quite a quantity of gas and reliability of a consistent supply.
A storage cavern (or 7) nearby could maybe provide this.

Yes very quiet, and both docks empty- with all the enquiries you would think some would have been converted to a docking?
Quite day today ,waiting patiently for some news
TBH, I was wondering the same. There must be some JV opportunities here.
That's wondering, not wandering. ;)
I totally agree Tango. I wasn't suggesting that for a sec.
I'm thinking more with the good relationship INFA and NAVI have (team Resolute, etc) could there be joint opportunities of some kind here if Carnival are looking at options. 200 mill is a lot of contract money and if H & W could assist in some way with subbie work for example to NAVI to speed up works for example.
As much as I'd like it to be the case H & W are not yet anywhere near competing with Navantia for a contract of this size.
TTNY as we are "in Bed" with Navantia I do not think it would be a very good business decision to steal their work! AIMHO
I knew H & W had 2 of the biggest drydocks in Europe but i came across this site listing the world's top 50 biggest dry docks. It's showing the H & W Building dock in 7th place and there aren't too many European docks on this list. That's quite a stat for our wee country !

I've also posted below that Carnival are 'evaluating shipyard options to complete the transformation' of their cruise ship Carnival Victory. It was drydocked in Navantia earlier in the year for a 200 million contract although Covid ceased the work being done.
It's interesting that Carnival now appear to be looking at other options to complete the job and not simply leaving the ship with Navantia.
At 272 metres i imagine there would be limited yards able to tender for working on a big gurl of Victory's size.

From the Interim Results RNS of the 30th of April.
The remaining tranche, the 3 rd and final of £1,450,000 was due that same day
"Given the current COVID-19 situation, the Company has formally requested the Administrators for an extension period in order to pay the final amount of the consideration. Positive discussions are continuing with the Administrators to determine an optimum timeframe for the Company to complete this final tranche of payment. The Company will make an announcement as soon as an agreement has been reached. "
As far as I can see no such announcemnet has be forthcoming.
yeah that idiot marine is obviously a sock puppet account who just signed up to post negative claptrap. calling H&W redundant shows your pathetic trolling ability, try being less obvious next time.
Hey Tango..........as a poster and investor in Infra I have very right to ask the awkward and probing questions. If that does not make me popular - tough luck. I have every right to post my opinion which are always structured and researched unlike the majority of amateur hour cheerleading that goes on in this forum.
I have seen this time and time again with AIM companies where private investors are always the last to know before a company disintegrates before their eyes and they lose their hard earned cash. The directors are never too bothered as they have been earning massive salaries in the period of directorship and will move onto their next position. By the time this happens the smart money has already cashed out......if you don't know the answer to my questions just leave it to the more informed posters on this board that seem to have their finger on the pulse.
Unfortunately, running up to the decision we are going to see a lot of "new users" posting there negative thoughts! OH JOY!
No Idea Marine.
Question for you; why has all of your limited posts got a negative theme? ulterior motive maybe..... jog on
Does anyone know if the final payment for H&W (£1.5M) has been paid to the administrators and what is the latest on the payment to Constain. The administrators published a report recently on the ongoing administration process of the now redundant H&W company which makes interesting reading and is still ongoing?
If infrastrata cannot/refuse to make the final payment what is the potential implications in terms of the lease agreements between Infrastrata and their landlord BHC?
Stokey, H&W went bust before because it was owned and run by an incompetent energy/oil company who only wanted to use it to support their own goals, rather than actually get it doing good business. JW has talked about this already in one of the RNS
It really is a shame that our leaders can not/will not give some confidence to it's shareholders, It is obvious there is things happening on all fronts but over a month now without an official statement... Regarding buying/selling/ Holding.... Shares are not a short term investment (unless a day trader), and willy to go from a 50/50 chance of getting the ML to selling your holding one post later ??? maybe better to stick to each way Yankees at Ladbrokes. IMHO
willy1946 In relation to your 11.08 post of yesterday sorry for taking so long to respond had internet issues yesterday. You have given me much to think about. At least I have the time to do it. Harlabd and Wolfe sounds like possibly being a good income stream but it did go bust once before so cause for a pause to think.
