Tango. I agree, it would appear illogical but if the ML gets the go ahead and you want to finance such a huge project without diluting it, as expressed previously, you need to get II involved. This is a way of throwing some corn on the ground to get them on the share register and buying into the long term prospects, funding requirements, of what will hopefully be a significant company. I don't like dilution when prospects for significant growth exist but I CAN see the logic. I respect your opinion and hope we are both rewarded with a positive outcome.
I'll take up any offering
Due to the timing of having available funds I will not be able to invest here before the current placing has completed. With a 100-1 consolidation that would mean on the current share price with me paying around 36p a share. How much credence do people think I can give to whatis said in the RNS about contract opportunities at H and W.
It doesn't tell us anything about the ML,(but you can infer that it isn't imminent ). What it does suggest is that there are no government grants expected anytime soon, and that INFA is in a poor state financially.
Hey spud, I think the ML is now a side note. H&w potential far outweighs magee and that's the II's and JW are focusing on. Looking at the numbers who can blame them?
On another note and I think tango has mentioned it recently (apols if someone else) why in blummin Nora have we not been given concrete revenue figures? Undoubtedly worthy of rns's and would have pushed the raise price up. I'm more disappointed in the lack of contract rns's than the raise. Again probably because I am naively thinking it's a means to an end for massive h&w growth
"InfraStrata plc (AIM: INFA), the UK quoted company focused on strategic infrastructure projects and physical asset lifecycle management"
For a company so "focused" on the above you have to ask why islandmagee is just a footnote in the RNS!
They are obviously concentrating on Harlands...
Also- If JW thought that the ML was imminent he would of been a total idiot to raise now, I don't know what the real reason is but do try to apply logic to things, and if the ML was imminent this raise would be totally illogical.
Lottie- again we are reading between the lines, rather than having clear guidance from the BOD, I am sure JW would like us to think we will get the £billions contracts with the MOD, Until we start getting clear communication and updates my stance will remain hopeful but sceptical.
I will be surprised if it stays above the issue price of 0.035.
Just a thought. To have the right to buy shares in the rights issue (2nd tranche) you have to be a registered shareholder. This is a clever move by the board to get new shareholders in via the 1st tranche open to new, not existing shareholders. If the ML gets agreed between now and 27th July, existing shareholders will be able to buy shares (guaranteed at a ratio to existing holding) at what will be a huge discount. This could be a serious reason to be a holder. I cannot believe the board would take this route if they had an ounce of integrity and thought the ML would fail.
Don't disagree with time to deliver lets see am holding and adding a bit more ,risk rewards i think
Regarding the MOD, he had to drop something out to get support, I did note the total lack of anything to do with IM or the ML.
Cookie- for some there is no risk- sold 200 mill for 0.40 to buy them back at 0.035, so raising is not a risk at all to the investors.
Why the II's were selling, because they already got them back cheaper! we have been shafted either way you look at it.
Last chance saloon.
Unless they start delivering (and not just rinse and repeat style).
This does not feel like choppy seas, more like "the perfect storm".
JW has now put his chopper on the block so time to deliver!
To raise that sort of money in current market conditions is very good indeed, shows confidence in where they are going with everything and I noted mod navy contracts mentioned in rns ,hint hint .....
Am I the only one that isn't too disgruntled by this? I'm a holder of 4 years so been through many placings, only got a million at an average of 0.67...but this is more of a positive fund raise as opposed to the prior (we need money to keep the heating on) type affairs...growing pains and I'm bullish.
Yes. Every aspect of the existing share structure is subject to a multiplication of 100. The last company I owned doing this was RBS. It should help in the long run. I still believe that without the ML or a significant earnings update the second placing will fail.
Very good Longlad, I see what you did there....!
Many long term holders such as myself are used to these placings, so it's kinda 'water off a ducks back' stuff. I had a feeling that this was going to happen again. It's a shame that the share price was not higher from which to raise funds off, but there we go. It is what it is and in the big scheme of things, at a 10% discount is not bad. I am sure JW wanted to raise off a higher share price, but ultimately the raise had to be done soon for several reasons as set out in the rns. It is important to show potential clients that you have the financial strength to carry out the work you are tendering for. JW and all of us would have loved for the ML to have been granted before this placing, it would have greatly increased the share price imho and would have been better to have raised off this, but as we well know, not everything falls into place in the order we'd like it to. The cynical side of me thought that they were going to raise after the flurry of share purchases a couple of months ago by quite a few INFA PDMRs, including Aunt Ethel, when that took the share price to circa 0.044.
JW knows where he wants to take this company and crikey, look at where they are now and what has been achieved compared to a year and a half or so ago. (Yes, we still await the ML I know). I am a glass half full kinda guy here and am in for the journey. Like I said recently, seat belts on if not already as the voyage continues, with plenty of ups too. Imho.....!
What happends to warrants, options, etc. that are already on the books?
Are they adjusted accordingly.
It's always been the same here, regardless of who's in charge, TBH.
Just shy of 7,000% since I first bought.
Well, I awalys wanted to get the SP back over my initial buy in price of 13p. Looks like I might, now.
The share price 35-7 tells me the first tranche has been placed. Price may settle back at .39 today as that big day to day seller will no longer be around.
Another Car Crash for loyal PIs..........any PIs that remain invested in this company are either delusional or have too much money. The reason I invested in this company was the fact they had landed the H&W facility and they are making a right mess of that. I said this before that large engineering projects with potential environmental issues do not happen in NI.........
You would be better putting your money on a single number on the roulette table............
this guy has diluted early investors to smithereens. and itll just continue.
I will vote in favour. Like a mistreated puppy I seem to to keep coming back to the master with puppy dog eyes! I have faith (although waning) that the money will provide for bigger contracts and therefore improve revenue. I detest share consolidations because they nearly always result in the lowering of sp. However, hopefully this is one that sees us grow into a monster. There's a lot of hopefullys in my message. Good luck everyone!
insider dealing is still alive and well. Clearly, an investor approached by the placing institution has been making room to take stock at a nice discount. Its nothing new and I saw this practice many many times as an institutional broker. Hedge funds were given the nod and would be the first to take stock in placings (having already shorted the stock) . The question now is, why no earnings news for us private investors? The statement is full of promise but man cannot eat on promises alone. To stay positive one needs comfort. I am fully aware of the need for additional capital as a business grows. I just hope that all this dilution is the right answer. The bigger the share capital the more likely Instutional investors will be attracted. If the ML is not forthcoming, the second placing will fail in my opinion.
