The first tranche payment for the yard was a cash and share consideration. The share element consisted of 784,404 shares at 38p. It did not talk of a lock up period so I guess theses shares have been part of the supply issue. It also explains the lack of urgency selling below the support line of 37-38p. The anniversary of the deal triggers yet another cash payment and share issue. That being some way off it is not a worry at the moment.
Just seen this https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6790203017145655296/?commentUrn=urn%3Ali%3Acomment%3A(activity%3A6786243603204210689%2C6790202976377032704) Hopefully this means that there will be work in short order for the successful applicant to manage.

Boris handed Brexit trade masterplan: PM told freeports can make UK ‘maritime superpower’
By CIARAN MCGRATH
PUBLISHED: 10:00, Sat, Apr 24, 2021
As an island nation, maritime had always been a huge part of the UK’s “national story”, Mr Murray stressed.
He explained: “With freeports, the government’s upcoming National Shipbuilding Strategy refresh and ambitious climate targets, we can look to the sea for our future prosperity and environmental sustainability.
“And with maritime being the lowest carbon way of moving goods, let’s get freight off roads and rail, and onto our waters.”
Si..if there is a plan going on behind the scenes there will be little evidence in the public domain. When first the old board were ousted from infa I suspected a plan in place and government in my view was and still see indirectly involved.Just my opinion .The gas cavern project is in my view interlinked with other businesses and they all have to be in position before that green light is given .I still maintain the ML has been used as a stalling tactic until all ducks are lined up..we shall see .exciting isn't it!.
Thats two things that definitely don't go together BP and fun lol if BP hasn't posted anything in a few days im always worried BP hasn't spontaneously combust !!!!
SI_Derman In relation to both of your posts of this morning. While I do not necessarily subscribe to the suggestion that there is some ulterior motive to the delay in reaching a decision on the marine license. I note that one of the proposed routes for a connection between Scotland and Northern Ireland runs close to Islandmagee. This perhaps complicating factor would be covered in the submission to the Minister. I would also observe that the Northern Ireland Ministers are known to take their time in reaching a decision on occasion. We will get a decision when the Minister makes it which may or may not be this month.
Further to that and not wishing to be antagonistic in any way.
Maybe the five or six individuals that are obviously in agreement with your opinion want to offer up some actual evidence to back it up. Or are they just so desperate for a conclusion to this saga that anything will do?
GLA, Si. :)
I think your confusing an attempt at humour as sarcasm.
Up to now all you have provided is your opinion and not a single shred of evidence that would back up your theories. And as they stand, what you are suggesting is so far fetched as to read like a conspiracy theory or the synopsis of a Dan Brown novel.
Yes, the ML issue has dragged on for what seems like a ridiculous amount of time, even allowing for Covid related disruption. Excessive time in reaching a conclusion has lead to uncertainty and second guessing as to the reason for such a delay.
And, may I say, more ambiguous interpretations.
This delay could be misconstrued as being a bit fishy if you don't beleive it is just going through due process.
It shouldn't take this long, hence there must be something else going on in the background.
That's just pandering to a need for confirmation bias. IMO
Maybe, sometimes, things just take time. Their time, not ours. They don't have a stake in the outcome and so perhaps oblivious to how long it takes. Just doing their job and nothing more.
Patience,Patience .. the contract for the BIG boys moored down there takes time , but ........... ??!
I am still awaiting the inrush of canny investors, as predicted on here, who wised up over the weekend to the multi-bagging potential, following the transformative news announced on Friday last week.
Oh wait, the market seems to have realised that a £26m contract won't even touch the sides and that the numbers announced on Monday were shocking.
No sarcasm.
Further to my 18.05 post the European Highlander is now en route to Larne as confirmed on Vesselfinder.
Just checked the Belfast Harbour website and the departure of the European Highlander has been bought forward from noon tomorrow to 7pm tonight. This means that the repairs have been finished early. That is one way to impress a client. It does however means that both docks are now empty with nothing noted to be coming in for the next 7 days.
Why not have an adult conversation.Sarcasm doesn't really encourage posters sharing their thoughts. It's obvious that the ML has been used as an excuse.Absolutely no excuse for Poots to make a relatively quick decision.Until the Gas cavern project has the go ahead the sp will dawdle along.
The Illuminati?
It's still my opinion that the whole marine licence issue has been about stalling. The Northern Ireland government will be fully briefed on the marine licence throughout the process. In my opinion it's odds on that the project will go ahead and the licence has been a done deal for many many months. This project is of huge importance and as such would not be at the mercy of a few objectors even if those objections had some merit..Something outside of infa and the northern Ireland government is holding this project up and in my opinion it's is not the ML.
Blair lol!!:)
Tango1,
3 years?
is still about so not going anywhere fast.
stokey12- I am expecting a lot more fab contracts before that and the ML hopefully.
Amongst all the information in the interim results was the information that INFA will be changing its year end to 31 December. This means that the current year end will be 31 December 2021 with the next Annual Results due by no later than 30 June 2022. It was also stated that quarterly trading updates will be given. Interestingly the next update is due by 30 June which is about when we should hear about the Triumph Subsea contract.
Makes me smile the Arnish lot screaming after a couple of months for contracts when we were waiting 3 years for the first decent one LMAO!
I am not sure if anybody subscribes to Energy Voice and can give an indication what the rest of this article says. https://www.energyvoice.com/renewables-energy-transition/316348/campaigners-concerned-arnish-yard-could-become-appendage/
Hi mcadder thanks for posting, was the source the mirror? If we forget the noise and focus on what the minister says, it is a huge positive and signal towards team resolute. I pointed this out as a section within the defence industrial strategy when it was released. I think these campaigners (including unions) who have stated they must be built British do not yet understand what team resolute has to offer for British jobs. Thanks for posting and thanks all for sharing chart info
Thanks Lottie123
There seems to be a lot of day traders and a supply of shares from ready sellers in this company.
Once we see a couple more significant contract wins I think it will change the dynamic
