@perkylad
Knew about it but not who's tech it was, serious contender for an airport game changer.... link is perfect, Thanks
GLA
The links didn't work anyway - there were thousands of aeroplanes, but only two visibly on route from Aussie to Zealand. It was just a spot observation. One conclusion from looking at all the flights, instead of IAG shares, should have bought PCR kit and equipment manufacturers. If only I could borrow Stewie's time machine.....
You really need to change you Flightradar version if only two aircraft are visible.
Need some of these at the airports..

Apologies if Virolens been mentioned here before and for the cross board ramp...they're made by TTG

There are quite clearly open routes across Europe.
Although despite the corridor news for Australia and New Zealand, flight radar only shows 2 flights in the sky at the moment

@moon
Maybe thay'll open up new corridors for that which means some kind of C19 status check/passport/vacc...

Pershing Sq. Capital br0s will be bashing their heads together this morning to come up with a reason for the rise.
Good to see Aus + NZ corridoor. One thing I forgot until recently was that the football euros + olympics are this year....surely there's some travel in there somewhere
Lol agree with you, my filter list means I spend time reading posts which are relevant to IAG...
PS if you're on my list don't bother responding to my posts...!
GLA, not much movement either way, maybe we'll get lucky and it will stay blue...!

On the short term basis, pension fund holding aside, as long as that PCR test features in travel this is at best going to nothing more than tread water. Both the cost and airport logistics are the issue. Even the lateral flow test is going to be a logistics issue with a smaller cost impact. Problem now is that the politicians have explicitly stated the PCR test should be part of the mix and pushing a U-turn in the best of times where politicians are concerned is difficult enough. So I would guess as a minimum the PCR test will be around for the first month form May 17th with a promised review on June 17th and only then will there be hints of it being replaced with lateral flow. I am sure the use of the PCR is more about using travellers as laboratory rats than stopping variants entering the country. There are thousands crossing the channel every day and they only need the lateral flow test at first, PCR if that is positive. So there is a very big question as to why holiday and airline passengers are not following the same now tried and tested methodology. I believe I did hear one Prof talking in an interview about the 'great opportunity' to monitor something or other.
(It's understood the rapid lateral flow tests will take place on the UK side, but the new regime - details of which were first reported by the Daily Telegraph - would not be introduced immediately.
If a lorry driver tests positive then the result would be re-run using a PCR test and accommodation provided for isolation if an infection is confirmed. Sky news)
I think the price will continue going north from here as FTSE100 is poised to do a bit of catching up with other world markets..Also any announcement of travel starting i.e. USA, Europe over the summer will provide the boost we are all waiting for. It's only a matter of time now, not if. If not today, we will be up overall at the end of the week..Good luck all..All IMO.
Hello,
Wow, glad I did not get involved with the Climate Change discussion.
The news has been mixed over the weekend and positives across the UK and US but negatives in Europe and further East. What do we think the opening price will be? No massive drops or big up ticks?
