Absolutely Lloyd's, a lot of investors including myself wondering if a RI on the horizon, with this confirmation there isn't, we should have rapid take off on the runway tomorrow. GL All!!
Bump up tomorrow, this was no doubt creating a head wind on the SP, with news of freeing up travel restrictions, should be some good movement tomorrow!!
Well, Boris and Biden after shafting the French and EU. It was one hell of kick in the teeth. A reminder, shi.t happens and when you least expect it.
It's going to be fantastic few weeks, the fan is niw on full speed, the guard off and there are buckets full of the brown stuff lined up waiting. We just need now a prominent broadcaster to look into the lens on a live broadcast with no delay and state the truth that climate change is a major fraud and that..... oh, screens gone blank.
Plus, Boris is meeting Biden next week in the US so I expect some comment or speculation as to when the US will open!
Could be a good week..
I note the careful use of 'emergency'. They were under significant pressure, in city not just from me lol, to say something. This is a carefully worded and set out 'interview' [read me these questions, in this order, no follow ups]. Will require some careful reading between the lines. At lot of changes are on the horizon, insolvency, merger, buy-outs, ri, ir, sabotage. Small fish eating big fish, nrw alliance's, code shares falling apart, new ones forming. It's going to be windy on those markets, forget crab landings, its going to be crab trading!
I think it's a denial now but they are considering one when the US opens up to maximise the effect on a positive operating background.
You heard it here first, short squeeze Monday, RI November!!!
That's an interesting dynamic I hsnt thought about. Might be a very good Monday morning!
Short squeeze coming Monday, buy buy buy.
I'm very happy for everybody by the way. No RI, or more accurately, no 'emergency' tapping of investors.
Been around for a while! How about tapping shareholders for funds to buy Easy J, or others? You've got to get this past the EU commission!!! IAG has the British flag carrier in its stable! Those planes don't have the EU blue swastika on the tail! And as we have just seen - events can change in a very significant manner in a very short space of time.
I'll take it as read that there is no immediate rights issue for normal operations. There might be mergers on the way, but I very much doubt Easy J is in such trouble that it needs IAG to save it. I would put my money on a smaller airline like Wizz.
But, what would I know. 100% wrong all the time, all day every day. I will put a fiver down there will be an IAG RNS first half of next week aimed at clearing the air.
BB
This new short CITADEL Europe that opened Thursday because their mates told them too, you're right they're gonna be fried F------g chicken cone Monday afternoon.
BB it will be worse than a Greek hillside .... cinders
burnt JG? BURNT?
It's going to be fecking inferno!
I think a fairly flat opening, not much happening in IAG's world atm
Hopefully this will recover some more on Monday, and those new shorters get burnt.
Switch arooo ... classic .. there is certainly going to be some interesting things going on before summer season next year. .. the headline of 200% in people booking holidays will play favour too next week.. o heard the boss of Heyes travel on radio 4 this morning ..
Can't wait to hear the chartists claiming the 10% rise on Monday was 'bloody obvious, just look at the candlestick crossing the blue crayon', lol.
"- In response to speculation that IAG might buy easyJet, it is described as one of several airlines "on the radar"."
So I might get my switcheroo with a share swap - no broker fees. Makes the decision on what to do with my Easy J RI more interesting. Will IAG be very generous to make an nice easy trouble free acquisition? Or play hard ball and risk a delicate balance with a shareholder vote at Easy J. Where will the Stelios family place their vote?????
DO you IAG lovers WANT Easy J in the stable. We are rough and ready stallions you know. Your sweet innocent short haul mares might find us a bit too much, lol.
Credit Suisse have some explaining to do. WHy did they publish such an incendiary broker note?
Slapped wrists? Invites to next private briefing? Maybe not?
"New news might change that in a breath. O would love to rule the bb spotting, posting it, and stuffing it down everybodies throught!"
My computer hadn't update the comment just before I posted. In a breath, in a breath, new news might change it in a breath.
Fish Friday next week.. I think I'll push the boat out and have lobster with a nice peroni
Open at 1.60 I reckon
Looking forward to a happy Monday and hopefully the rest of the week, imagine in U.S. opens too !
Well that's it... party time boys ... get your poppers and party hats... ill fashion a pirate on ..

The chief executive of British Airways owner IAG has denied widespread City speculation that he is planning to raise billions of euros from shareholders to get the company through the extended Covid crisis.
Having seen easyJet tap investors for £1.2 billion in a rights issue earlier this month, focus had turned to IAG with expectations that it would have to follow suit to shore up its finances. But chief executive Luis Gallego firmly denied any such plans, telling The Sunday Times: “We do not see the necessity to do a rights issue and are not considering it.”
