20k bpd, when ramp up forecasts were for 9k bd, is great news.
But be aware that it may not be an indicator of well performance ; at AGM it was stated clearly that ramp up guidance was for equipment contingencies, not well considerations. So we can at least be pleased that the AM is getting up to planned 20 k bpd with no apparent issues. And bear in mind that a further ramp up to 30k bpd might also be possible much sooner than the predicted timeline.
Fwiw, tho, I am inclined to believe hoofheared2's assertion that well performance is much better than predicted. Roll on the CMD.
My suspicion is that values are not being given so that there can be no insinuation of a performance drop off from the wells.
For the first 3 months they are noted as operating at an average of 45% efficiency. Based on the figures being banded about, they appear to have been operating far higher (and probably at the initial target production, excluding downtime, of 20k). For all we know there could be planned tests or maintenance about to occur so that the next required tanker offload will be further away than would be expected if producing at 20k per day (I have no info that this is the case, just postulating).
I also think Dr T is aware the real value driver is the 6-12 months of performance data so releasing info now would only cause a short term spike in the share price and Dr T is more concerned about the long term rather than satisfying the needs of traders on here..
does anyone have any idea why the number of barrels this wasn't put on the RNS yesterday by HUR ? I did email HUR IR and they are useless as a pack of chocolate cigarettes ...surely 356K barrels is great news ? maybe I am stuck in the twilight zone ..
Thanks amaja for the info...
The captain of the Amundsen Spirit has communicated to the Rotterdam Harbour agencies the following information concerning her cargo:
47.389 tons of crude oil which is apparently the equivalent to 356.429 barrels of crude oil (from Lancaster).
Is this precise enough?
amaja........ would have prefered it to 2 decimal places really but that will have to do.....!! Just kidding , fantastic info , many thanks !!
It seems like Lancaster wells have been averaging over 20,000 barrels a day since the 1 June to offloading.
Not bad during a disruptive test period.
jhaylock
I get 21,654,507 dollars
Cheers Amaja- appreciated.
Any idea what we put in the AS?
IFO380/IFO180/LSMGO/……?
