nice PEA + further upside ... this NPV is impressive and HUM holds appr 50% of the project ... i really don't understand the valuation of HUM ... i will wait for the next operational update and buy more
Sorry missed yesterday's RNS!
Why would Hum not issue its own RNS referring to Dugbe PEA as this is quite a significant milestone.
Some how not considered newsworthy!!
I wonder where we are on this chart?

What not to like here??
Company said we will be DEBT free at the end of H1 2021,which is 5days away!
Generating around 45mil per quarter!
Making CLEAN PROFIT of 25mil a year!!
And mcap is just 65mil????????
Last year REVENUE was 180mil!!!
CHRISS,why would there be any placing here while we are generating good amount of cash here??
24-25000 oz per quarter is generating enough cash here.
This quarterly update will show how much cash is piling in!
Positive & interesting Pasofino update with 2.5Moz @circa 1.5g/t PEA at Dugbe/Tuzon. How this news could possibly result in the SP dropping when we hold 51% is beyond me and reading this BB several other posters too ... but then this is the world where the FED can "talk about talking about tapering" and POG drops 7% over 2 days.
Beggars belief really !
ATB APR
Huh? That makes no sense. You derampers need to try harder. Why would a company issue rights priced at half of NAV? Rather just sell assetts or at least sit on the undeveloped asset, rather than fund the mine at a value less than it is worth. They have a year to start Kouroussa and two years before needing to contribute to Dugbe, what, with bloody tears in my eyes, would make them give away their company to fund it, when they don't have to?
Did you consult your Crystal Ball Chris ??
The key figure in the RNS is post tax IRR = 31% at $1600/oz GP.
At that level, the project will not get funded: They will need to get it to 60% plus for it to work IMO with Liberia risk.
SC sell theory number 2. Its qrt end next week, and i suspect SC are looking to exit by then, its certainly feels like that based on the increasing volume into falling market. Expect it to look nasty through to 29th June or so. If that holds, then by mid July we may see a cleaned up overhang from SC. Only the overhang of Cassidy, Koura equity funds raise to deal with LOL
From memory HUM's Dugbe DFS had an NPV (8%) of $186m based on $1300 POG, 4.2m ozs and a capex of less than $200m. So the updated NPV has largely been boosted by the increased POG (e.g. an extra $300 on 200k ozs pa is $60m pa) and a slightly reduced discount rate. Going the other way, And there's reduced ounces (3.6m) plus a hugely increased initial capex of nearly $400m, the reason for which I'd like to understand better. The potential additional exploration ounces looks promising and, as stated, there's also scope to reduce the ongoing power costs further, which could also make a significant difference.
Sorry below was nonsense I was going to edit to show since I've held HUM it has gone from zero sales and profits to $26m PreTax Profit last year, yet the SP is 40% down - if this is contrarian investing? it sure sucks! Should have stuck to momentum investing. Still pay day tomorrow, so more averaging down to come lol. GLA
Huge forecast there. Look forward to the updated MRE later this summer. I assume we will farm down our ownership % to a major in order for them to fund capex. Better to have a little slice of a big pie than a big slice of a little pie - oh wait Mali works too. Another strategy of DB looking more likely at paying off day to day.

@Cplloyd "feeling I am missing something."
You speak for us all....
Pasofino shares up 5%, market cap for them is about £23m for their 49% share of the project. If the market has that value correct then surely HUM's share of the asset value is at least £25m meaning the rest of the company is worth around £50m at current market cap. It certainly feels like nothing will re rate the share price upwards here & I also feeling I am missing something.
some buys going on another exchange too.
That looks to be fairly blunt but informative about the mine life, gold value etc. The company with the 51% interest in it can be bought for £70m.
Am I missing something it appears literally nothing will move this share price north!?
seems like it has hit the bottom now and ready to move upwards.
hoping for juicy quarterly updates too(end of june) with gold prices keep climbing.
well that reads nicely.
Good job Stalker!
