Don’t blame you, it can’t drop much lower and it’s only a few weeks until everything is announced so if you have the cash don’t blame you
I don’t care what you pricks say
I’m buying more at this low level.
Keith
Is that just for graves at TAI 1, and how many digs does it cover? lol
AP - the tender for cementing services states: "The scope of work comes under Cemetery maintenance services" !!!
Probably a stupid question as different tools will have different diameters..plus logging tools were run to karoo
Anyway Q series was design by boart longyear, in 1953 the company applied for a patent on the first wireline core retrieval system–the Q™ Wireline System
https://app.boartlongyear.com/brochures/Reference%202018_2(Web).pdf
After setting conductor casing they drilled to 400m PQ(5" hole), cased.
So HQ(4") next to TD I guess..
Then sidetracked and cased, so I would guess NQ 3" to bottom??...
Until tonight I thought Q series wireline rods were related to wireline logging tools, so logging as you go. ultra slim logging tools.. Mmmm, not sure now, so if the bore hole is too small???
Does anybody know the minimum hole size for logging tools ?
Definitely, the casing tapers with depth but to potentially start with 24" at surface tbe conventional rig means over 1300m we will still have a huge bore at the Karoo.
The mineral rig was down to 4" or was it less ? It just wasnt workable.
I dont think thats quite how it works, there seems to be relationship width to depth..
DM did say it could drill an 8 1/2" hole to 2500m, I believe 7" casing fits in that size hole...
From that I got the idea 7" casing to 2500m???
But I read a paper saying the rig could only run 9 5/8" production casing to 1100m,
After you run your 9 5/8" casing, you drill the 8 1/2" hole, then run your 7" casing.
I doubt it will be to 2500m but I dont really know
My understanding is that the predator rig can run 48ft sections of 4-24" casing to whatever depths the drill is capable of - is that not how it works?
I think they will likely drill, wireline and test the lakebed and then case. Then open hole drill the red sandstone to the Karoo.
They could case all the way through the red sandstone if its looking problematic
@AP, have you seen what casings can be run to what depth ?
The rig has been designed for drilling the top section of holes, which are then completed by another rig.
It can also complete shallow wells, can drill a hole to 2400m, can run casing X to ? and casing Y to?
We will fly then.. its only porous sandstone.
They will want to be extra careful to avoid any collapses but it looks like it wont take very long at all.
@AP, I get the impression from this article, Top hole Drilling, 427m hole drilling time 13 hours, drill 1 day move the next... page 7

Back at the end of March they were tendering for cementing services and environmental impact services.
Someone else said that they had a friend who worked in camp setup services and that tenders had been arranged for that and that it was all pending the signing of the rig
@Dai Takes me a while to wake up without a coffee unfortunately!
I've always been pretty chilled about HE1, belief in the project and team to bring in the 2022 campaign seems to have saved me some sleepless nights other haven't avoided.
@Josh, 400,000 shares and you cant remember, your chilled
I hope those guys were not boiler room sharks ;)
@Dai - Sorry, I don’t know. MW was only ancillary related.
2 people in the telegram have posted about the crew/camp with seemingly convincing evidence, but unfortunately have deleted most of their messages except a vague post about how HeliumOne tendered the services a couple months ago with contracts pending drill contract confirmation. I read the original posts but it was early in the morning for me over breakfast and I can’t really remember the details. Sorry I can’t provide more.
@AP, MMMMmmm How about the other extreme 400m in 18hrs.......
It was a tough drill, so was just showing how it outperformed a 2000HP Tower..

I calculated 16hrs/day from some other numbers..
So 400m in 18hrs article to get you excited from Deep Hole Driller Magazine, Epiroc

1300m @ 20m per day is 65 days for the main karoo drill target? Seems a long time
Say 300m for the lakebed target is 15 days.
Thats 2 months of solid drilling for tbe 2 targets at Tai assuming the lakebed target isnt stacked above the karoo target ( assumed not)
Say we need to be wrapped up by the end of Nov and assuming wireline etc can run alongside drill plans then we need to start drilling early October at the latest really.
Some drilling stats,, Predator 950hp v Tower 2000hp
I Assume same pad...
Tower, MW08 378 m in 27 days (Average rate of penetration of 14 m/day)
Predator, MW08A 360 m in 17 days (Average rate of penetration of 21.18 m/day);
@Josh, crew ?
Guess your watching MW on linkedin, who appears to be providing the crew ?
More Brussel sprouts for DM
@ITV I agree, hoping for news in the coming weeks but happy to wait and continue to hoard shares at these prices - Topping 400k now, it’s make or break season for me!
@Josn
Well said, excellent post, as always,
though, IMO, all what you have stated,
will come into play, a lot earlier:)
Positivity, will not speed things up,
though, at this stage, it might stop
you hanging yourself while awaiting
any relative news from DM & Co:) lol
