Morning DT
Just read your post to Pete....absolutely spot on...couldnt have stated it better myself... I admit though when I got involved with this game I went behind the 8 ball...
Novocytwas under 38pence one month ago once the virus gets sorted or runs its course ie we have tbe spring around the corner warmer weather UV kills a lot of sh.it gives ya cancer but kills a lot of virus infections it will fooking plummet to below that 38pence in tbe panic to sell that's if you can fooking sell it
oh, i forgot ncyt test kits are 90mins results and non chilled transport. dont want to miss any details out, appears other tests dont have those advantages either.
Sorry Typo....
Reposistion.....Must admit I am awaful at this...as I let them ride and try mansage my way out of it.
The bib big question now is....Is there more downside or are we green to go....
IMO...the markets have been waiting ages for a correction?
Apologies if I have offended anybody by posting about another SP on this board.
George, i also note that there are several kits/methods to test on the market, the only advantage ncyt has its CE approved. I have to check products for CE approval to use in my work to prevent bacterial growth and its really not that big a deal, there are several testing houses around the world, theres one in the far east. I am confused as to why the fda are taking so long in approving the suggested kit? Now if there was vaccine for this virus then the share price would be shooting up (no pun) but for now a test kit appears to be a test kit and the advantage of getting the first approved one to market just isnt being realised, all imho of course.
NOVCT
Last Friday i bought NOVCT at 86p and left a sell limit order for Monday Morning at 149...as events developed over the weekend I adjusted it to shy of the week previous high....about 194...I recall...It didnt trigger and I sold at market on Monday afternoon.
I was tempted to buy back mid week but didnt buy as research suggested there were a number of global institutions also making the Kits and there seemed a delay on approvals coming through...This is still my view with a very volatile share
Ongoing
With some cash in the pot Harry Hindsight saw that yesterday AM was a massive opportunity to but stick that had seriously been hammered particularly airlines... Why Airlines....with all this going on..but then markets often dont make sense.
As for selling to feposition
Breatheasy, thanks for your post and I must say very honest of you to send the link showing your position I respect that very much.
As far as GLEN goes it’s around 25% of my total pot but am getting very disillusioned with the share I’ve got various tranches averaging from just under 300 down to 255 so my approx average is around 275.
I know I’m at quite a loss on this and it’s my biggest loser but I see better potential elsewhere for when the recovery starts and as I said earlier it’s relative as everything else is down and there are some bargains out there at moment.
This is just updating you gentlemen about a solid AIM company which will hopefully have steady upward movement and you may be interested in a week or so to invest. Sage you missed yesterday a great entry point. If you go to Novacyt Website and read their press release this morning all will realise that the company has positioned itself well for the sales worldwide in the last 2 weeks. There will be demand for the covid-19 diagnostic kit with the pandemic. They have made arrangements in US with a big pharma company for oem of their kit to meet US demand which is a big plus with the cashcow of US, once they get the FDA approval for EUA of their kit ( next stimulus for share price rise). SP will stabilise and gradually rise as demand for kit for diagnosis worldwide is there and an opportunity to make money for about a month before it falls out of favour unless they are taken over. Go with market opportunity.
Ken I should says hats off to you as you openly declared your loss of 102k etc today. Needs kahunas to openly declare such things as most keep saying everything is hunky dory. In that spirit you can click on my link below to see my holding in 1 ISA account out of 4 and 2 SIPP accounts of family.

Have a hug buffer even if the SP falls to 50p due to trading when SP was high. Over 15 years investment tripling the returns
gave me the confidence to go full out with a buffer to take risk of loss and I would not recommend it to others. I did through research of NYCT and world news and got in early. Yes daytrade you get the credit you called it first on this site :) apparently.
Glad to see many of you all contribute to charity as I feel we are privileged to have the wealth and should share with the not so well off. My rule of 5% to charity (for years) of current profit will go to the Samaritans to help the homeless.
