Hydrogen - this was in my trash

It’s quite easy to see gold going to $4,000,” Frank Holmes, CEO at investment firm U.S. Global Investors, told CNBC on Monday.
He pointed to the trillions of dollars needed in stimulus to tide the U.S. economy during the coronavirus pandemic, and added that G-20 finance ministers and central banks are “working together like a cartel and they’re all printing trillions of dollars.”
“We’ve not seen this level where central banks are printing money at a zero interest rate. At zero interest rates, gold becomes a very, very attractive asset class,” Holmes said.
A looser monetary policy generally means investors are more likely to seek out gold as an asset. When real yields go down, gold prices will go up, and vice versa. In such a scenario, the opportunity cost of holding gold, a non-yielding asset, is lower as investors are not foregoing interest that would be otherwise earned in yielding assets.

Thanks, Hydrogen. I look forward to your further thoughts about the Artemis release, when you have had the opportunity to talk to your contacts.
Artemis seem to have found the mafic dyke formations to be quite extensive, so let us hope that the weaknesses in those areas were previously exploited by mineralising fluids. ( Especially, underneath our licence blocks ! )
Thanks for your reply concerning the Havieron anticline and my vertical offset enquiry. Presumably, steep plunging would explain what looks like deep drilling, in the NW.
Looking at the geology, as interpreted by Artemis, figure 4, there is an elliptical shape on their map, shown NE of the main Havieron deposit.
It is well within our licence area, while Paddysat showed activity approx. 500m. North of the horseshoe, a few weeks ago.
Any thoughts?
Strudel,
Take a look - just for fun,

I'm actually amazed by how much stuff is being found under the ground round the world at the moment. It must be infuriating when a company runs out of money and has to stop drilling. So many of these current sites have historical workings.

Jet47,
Does that explain the reference to "the banks of the silvery Tay"?
It was literal, not metaphorical....
Well if we're going to keep talking about other companies here, I thought I'd add Erris into the mix. Results RNS out this morning, with so much gold and silver found that they're dropping a zinc project in Ireland to concentrate on Loch Tay.
Och aye!

I don't think they are any more or less 'clued' up than the GGP management - remember the CEO at Artemis now is Alastair Clayton of Primorous who has been following the GGP story for years and has been invested here all that time. Alastair also is a qualified geologist who studied at Perth University and did his thesis on Telfer and Telfer style mineralisation so yes he has an intimate knowledge of the region but I don't think he will be any more clued-up than Callum Baxter.
Anything that Artemis turn up can only help GGP with their understanding of the regional structures in the Paterson area.
Good luck to them - we will be ahead of them with the drilling at Scallywag and the cover there should be substantially lower also, that's where our near term focus needs to be now.
ATB - Paddy
They mention Havieron so
Much as a bench mark you can smell their jealousy
And more clued up than a tier 1 gold copper mine found.
Get real
I would say it’s more newcrest than artemis
I just read the Artemis announcement and their team appears more clued up on the regional geology than the GGP management... Perhaps a qualified geologist on this board can comment on the Artemis press release? Do you agree that identification of the heat source on the ARV ground is a major development?
Like confetti in all these other companies RNS’s
But there is only one Havieron. They’d all sell their granny for Havieron.
Keep your eye on the prize with GGP
