Hi TMT. Wrong, it could stay the same. ATB Speedy
Oh, I just thought of something, speedy. I might have been wrong, it might stay level!
"Just for fun, Higher or lower tomorrow morning?"
Yes, I think you are right, speedy. I think it will be higher or lower. :)
Hi TMT. Just for fun, Higher or lower tomorrow morning? Call me Brucie. ATB Speedy
Hi, Speedy. I remember you warning about that, fair enough. Though I don't think the predictions was really the problem. It was that hardly anyone was warning that a drop might happen. You were and I was and we got shouted down over and over.
Hi TMT. I pointed out this scenario a few weeks back and got told off for "putting a dampner" on the BB. For me it was as plain as the nose on your face, the big boys do not miss a trick like this. Their games are only short term and the real value here will be achieved in the end, where that will be no one knows. Price predictions are fun pass times that is all. The problem with price predictions is that the uneducated (i say that with ref to the market) look at these predictions and think they are prices that experts and people in the know are saying will happen. This is dangerous for them, so next time we have a "guess the price next Tuesday comp" bear that in mind. ATB Speedy
Paddy,
I’ve been investing since March. Your worked has formed part of my education and I am grateful.
Thank you.
However, at all times I have been responsible for my own decisions. Pretty much since I decided when to go to the toilet or cross the road.
Don’t be put off by people disappointed in themselves looking to deflect the blame.
I'd like to use my first post on here to add my name to this - I've been holding GGP since March and have added where I can in the last few months. Not a huge amount, 35000 shares is all but to me that's significant. I did the research on the company and the fundamentals which convinced me it was where I wanted to put my money but I'm far from an expert when it comes to the technical side of mining. The info provided by Paddy and others is massively appreciated by me and really helped me to not panic through today's ups and downs, to ignore the trolls and to learn how to be a better investor. The timescale I've set on GGP is years rather than weeks or months so hopefully it'll pay off well in the end. All the best to everyone invested here.
Good post, dtrip. I agree. The price hike was overdone and the correction also is overdone. Profit-taking followed by panic.
On this board we figured out that GDXJ would be buying one month before it happened. We aren't smarter than other people. A lot of people bought, including some big money, intending to profit from the big buy. It drove the price up. Not all of those people sold on Friday, and some have kept taking profits, selling more and more.
That will run out, quite soon. The drop is overdone, but this kind of volatility should be expected after a big market event like this. I admit I thought it would be stabilising by now, but here we are.
Remember, a month ago it was at 13. We've had a big, big spike since then. A lot of people thought it would be bigger. They were wrong. It's still a great performance over the last week. The only reason people are disappointed right now is because of excessive expectations, driven in part by some absurd ramping on this board.
I still firmly believe that the gold is still in the ground, is going to come out of the ground, and the long term prospects here are phenomenal. But people ramped the short term prospects, and that was always dubious. I'll post that silly predictions thing before long. Reads sort of like a Hall of Shame, seems to me. No, I didn't get it right either, I admit that. But it tells the story of the attitudes here after the GDXJ buy was announced.
Hi. I am a first-time poster so, be gentle with me.
In March, I bought a considerable number of shares in Greatland Gold for around 5.8 pence. When doing so, I considering the publications the company provided and believed an investment into this company had legs, as - it was operating in a safe environment with credible people who make prudent and considered decisions.
That view has been reinforced week-after-week and month-after-month as the directors continued with their plans accordingly, the company has gone from strength to strength.
It seems to me, the Directors have done exactly what was promised, achieve the goals they set, on time, without bluster or Whizz and in taxing-times.
That being so, I hope the Geatland team stays together and do not sell the company nor its asserts.
My reasoning is, I cannot find a better, more dutiful, or genuine team to invest in.
The ‘frets’ being caused by this interim drop in share price, is probably caused by an unjustifiable hike in market capital last week. In my reality, the share price, needed to retract somewhat, but (I suggest) not to this level - as now, it is a buying opportunity.
From my point of view, it is an investment I want to see to the end and I happy with those on the rudder and at the helm.
Thank you goneawol,, 4pm uk time cheers farmerlad

Big thanks Paddy for all your hard work. Without your positive comments and sharing your reseach on this board I could have easily sold out at 6p or less. ATB MrEMC2
I would very much like to echo that, and add my thanks to you also Paddy for all of your very helpful and informative posts .... Please don't pay any attention to all the trolls and detractors that have recently appeared on the scene
I read this BB often but don't really post. However I make an exception today as I feel its very important to add similar sentiments regarding Paddy. He is an extremely rare commodity, genuine, brilliant researcher and happy to share his findings with all of us. I have never considered your contributions as investment advice, only your honest thoughts and thinking. Similar to others I'd be very disappointed if you didn't continue posting your exceptional findings and thoughts which are second to none.
Just wanted to say thanks Paddy for all your hard work , It gave me the confidence to hold onto my shares through the last few days and even added a some more at 18.53p . Seeing the images you provide makes it so much easier to visualise the extent of the drilling. Keep up the good work. Kind regards.
