I suspect they are working on the EU already.. and I get your point.... I guess the fact that they are still banking on the US comes to some extent ...on the feedback and advise etc from Beckmann ...who we know are no " Mr Nobody" in this arena
Pokerchips (and those who upticked you), these markets have been on stand-by for many months. Are you suggesting that GDR should do nothing more that wait indefinitely for an answer ?
Don't you think that the most logical thing to do, seeing these markets are roadblocked, would be to try and shift the company's products somewhere else ? For example, in the EU or in ZA, where the tests are already approved for commercialisation.
To me that's Business 101 and it is puzzling that some people would find this expectation of a Plan B irrational.
The team at GDR are all doing what they are supposed to...just not talking about it. The same fickle fellows on here will be shouting their praise when all become clear...
They are up to something..Don't forget they HAVE to declare bad news too!
allah4uk,
With respect... I would imagine that the markets of India , the US and Europe are more than a handful for this small company to handle at the moment
If all PLC's were compared to a bowel movement - its fair to say GDR has constipation when it comes to news - However I would rather have a good news release than bull. Beckmann as a sales aid is critical and they are not hanging around for the good of their health. I have bought another 20k at 47p to average down to 51.66p and will take another 20k if this touches 40p. Whilst I am lucky to have held my Council before re-investing I am aware that there are many on here with substantial losses to recoup. GLA
Pokerchips, you don't have to switch sectors to receive more frequent information.
Bean could do something as simple as explaining where else he's trying to shift its growing stockpile of tests, but since he's leaving shareholders in the dark, many will assume that he's sitting on his hands while waiting forever for approvals that never seem to come.
Mr Budd admitted in the last RNS that they do not have a sales team, which is why Beckmann is such a great hope. I've learned over the last year or so that Mr Budd and his senior colleagues are well out of their depth as directors etc of a listed company. GDR jumped on the covid bandwagon like so many other companies, yet GDR made alot of mistakes and wouldnt admit to them until this year. I think the next RNS/presentation may contain even more admissions of mistakes, just like the last one. Perhaps the people with inside knowledge of the state of play wrt GDR's covid products are jumping ship now. Why else would the SP fall so dramatically without news?

Of course...if you want loads of updates ..choose a company in a fast moving and dynamic sector .. in this sector dealing with bureaucratic, administrative organisations is notoriously slower than hopes and expectations would like ...
Correction : the company has no LEGAL obligation to provide more than a handful of RNS per year.
The real question is whether shareholders should be content with these mere legal provisions.
This is obviously a rhetorical question.
We often seen big drops and raises in the past before RNS, looks like a leak and some thing worse is coming!!
" that the company refuses to update the market is perfectly acceptable "
The company is NOT refusing to update the market.....
this company and in fact any other one ...has NO OBLIGATION at all to issue anything outside of a standard trading updates or results or market sensitive piece of news .... next to no CEO will respond to market trading .....
whether there is a leak right now...to some forthcoming announcement ..is a different story...
Or he isn’t updating the market as he’s working sooooo hard he just doesn’t have the time .. laughable
or just see how it is the lazy prick hasnt delivered and we hear the same wait for news wait for news and there never os any useless the lot of em
Yet just yesterday the rabid rampers were praising David Bean and his management.
According to them, that the company refuses to update the market is perfectly acceptable - only "derampers" would whine about that.
I said it long time ago the manangement are ................ Look where we ended up, and yet some clowns will defend .......
They all have to go. They are getting money for nothing. The body language said it all on last presentation.
