Note - in the link I pasted last night there’s some interesting lines - eg:
- Compatible RNA extraction methodologies
For all RNA extraction methodologies, ensure optional or additional steps suggested in the extraction kit instructions for use are taken to reduce ethanol or wash buffer carryover as much as possible to reduce the chance of reaction inhibition, which could impact test sensitivity.
The specimen input into the Genedrive 96 SARS-CoV-2 Kit reaction wells is RNA that has been extracted from upper respiratory specimens using an extraction instrument and kit. The following extraction methodologies have been validated for use.

IM Waiting for this page on their site to go live...
https://www.divoc.health/lab-policies-and-procedures.html
Lab policies and procedures... been about three or four days since I first noticed it.
IMO.
Not sure why some peoole are upset with the DIVOC throughput.
I thought the current 96 test pallet takes approx 45 mins to validate. 900-1000 is probably about right in an 8hr day.
Assuming 1st lab is probably quite small, single machine, etc.
Might be talking out my arse, but this makes sense to me. Can scale up and out if needed, 20 labs target by end of year. I'm still not worried about India.
Thanks Safy. I also picked up on the reference to the final results update - it came a year ago next week. So if no news this week we might get an update shortly anyway along with the final results.
Invest, that’s not strictly correct.
We don’t need FDA once the validation is complete. I’ve checked this multiple times.
If the lab validates accuracy we are good to go.

I recall Technick posting that he thought DB would be informed of GDR ICMR Approval before we are listed on the ICMR list of Approvals. Maybe the same applies ?
Agree, believe GDR would prefer KK to keep a lid on any potentially sensitive info ahead of GDR test formal approval & GDR RNS.
PP
Hi PP,
We reckon on c) too !
so either DB wants to top up cheap before announcing a mega RNS or we all go bust ... i'm 20k into this so hope all good.
also all the questions are now deleted from https://www.divoc.health/news/divoc-laboratories-receive-nabl-and-icmr-certification-for-covid19-testing regarding GDR ....
But let’s play through the ‘investment keyhole’:
- DIVOC advertise GDR (and have done since site went live months ago) as test provider
- DIVOC gets lab approval from regulatory body in India
- GDR major shareholder and ex CFO congratulates KK on achievement
- GDR pending PCR Covid test approval expected any day
- KK confirms test capacity in relation to Covid testing...only partner advertised for PCR is GDR, and removes post asap...
So - based on evidence, do we think a) Other Covid PCR provider about to be announced (...& website updated) / b) GDR have failed approval / c) GDR approval is dangling by the tiniest of threads and could land Thurs or Fri (or very soon thereafter)
D) it was Colonel Mustard in the study with a Covid vaccine from Russia & if it wasn’t for those pesky kids he would have got away with it...
Extra bonus clue - KK tweets they are on the cusp of processing 1st sample Covid tests...
Ok - my new pup’s just gone for c), well he is a hound dog...
