RE: What have I learntToday 14:25
Dvsfm, whether people or neg or positive on here, it has absolutely no impact on SP I have found. I'm losing so losing more will be just the same feeling.....so might as well just speak my mind and the truth rather than sugar coat anything.
______
Sure you don't mean that you might as well speak BOTH minds and b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t. ?
Trot on you fraud.
Sam,
Do you feel you will lose more?
Sam,
It’s funny as you were one of the people I took notice off back a few months ago when You were calling £6, £7 and even £10. But the thing I like about you is you don’t seem to take sides, you just say what you think whether it’s good bad or ugly. Shame you were wrong about £10 lol.
Maybe I did get luck, maybe unlucky to still hold. I’m happy to take the risk right now and hope there is more to come at some point.
Did you sell or are you still hanging in? If you are still in let’s see some of your positivity back (with out going overboard lol)
Sam , for someone who supposedly holds, you really like talking your investment down , being realistic is one thing but your outright negative so doesn't make much sense to me if you are genuinely a holder unless you want to buy more at a cheaper price that is
Once approvals start rolling in the mood on the board will be much more positive , an improved covid19 offering would surely improve the outlook for sales too , a lot to look forward too in the near future from my perspective . The Rns shows confidence in the product and potential sales outcome so happy to wait for that to come to fruition
Hi longrun I got told about this at 24p and ncyt at 100p by persian investor. I was using my life savings of 12k. So didn't really want to play aim as I got burned ten years ago. I used to last recession to gauge my investments. But then I started using these boards which made me doubt my initial investment strategy. I pulled my money out after that big spike at start of June as I needed to clear my head. Missed a lot of big gain especially in us tech. I'm finally feeling confident again so starting off with 3k again but play the ftse and dow. Aim volatility is not for the faint hearted
Absolutely agree with this post.
And another thing, I am a firm believer in passion and effort brings rewards.
Listening to DB talking about the hearing test, you can sense that he is immensly proud of the effort his team has made that can make such a difference to a babies life.
They also developed the Covid test in something like 7 weeks!
They obviously have some amazingly talented scientists at Genedrive.
After working for a small private software house, I have witnessed first hand the importance of connections to get you through the door in negotiations. We received venture capital funds that included a 'star' investor. Just dropping that name in chats to companies opened more doors than we would have ever got otherwise.
This is the importance of GHIF, you're right, Bill Gates has probably never heard of little Genedrive in Manchester and he might not ever will but everyone has heard of Bill Gates.
Do not underestimate the significance of that 13% stake.
I have made an investment, once our fantastic products are approved, I will see where my investment is in 3 to 6 months time.
I hope to have made some money from a company that is also trying to help people and their life chances
Not ramping, just my thoughts
Hi Long Run, good Post buddy and that makes absolute sense. No one should influence anyone’s buying behaviour especially in the Stock Market. I was involved initially at £1.75 and averaged it down to £1.28 yesterday. I personally feel that this share has legs to run but no one knows for sure. Just believe in yourself and I’ll say it’s very important to be Positive when your stock trade, yet being realistic. Good luck all
Wiser
Kenbob,
I got in here at 25p and I don’t know how but ended up with a massive amount of shares, I have topped up along the way but the bulk was at a low price, if I’m honest I probably didn’t sell because of a lot of comments on here but that’s my own fault and I accept that. On the other hand my best friend was pleading with me to sell at 50p months ago and telling me to stop being so greedy. I didn’t even know a placing existed until it happened lol. All I could see was my money going up and didn’t think it would stop. From now on I will listen to my self. I have set a target which I will stick to (even though my target has changed everyday for the last 3 months lol) it might happen next week, it might not happen until 3 years, may not ever happen but with what very little knowledge I do I have I believe with out covid the business looks like it has a positive future ahead.
I have learned this bb is different over the weekend, like night and day
Longrun I started investing in March after the crash. Made a bit only 20 percent but was playing it so careful in the ftse. I pinned too much hope of this share preforming and missed a lot of other opportunities because I beat myself up. I've had a month off investing to get my head straight again. Learning to deal with loss and gain is a new concept to me.
What a refreshing post.
I have only been investing from the end or March and I’m the first to admit that I haven’t got a clue. I think it’s fair to say neither has anyone else (I’m not having digs at anyone) half claim it’s going to the moon and the other half claim it’s About to s h I t it’s self. Let’s be honest if you Really knew it was going to the moon you would remortgage your house and if you thought other wise you would have sold, packed your bags and moved on.
There seems to be two camps. For and against, there seems to be lots of guess work and let’s be honest eventually someone will be right and then claim to be top boy. I often keep forgetting we are actually all meant to be on the same side.
We want new people to invest but one look here is enough to scare anyone away. I’m not suggest talk of £4 and rockets etc is a good thing but to often decent posts get lost in the nonsense and from what I can see there is genuinely some people who do some pretty good research and know what they are talking about when it comes to the product.
If you are invested and out of pocket surely running down the company won’t help your investment, if you think this is only going one way and that’s down surely you have to cut your losses and run. I’m sure we are all equally frustrated with a number of things (some admit it more than others) but we can not change that, it’s the past and we have to move on.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if next week all shareholders on here stuck together. No fighting or finger pointing as that could put new investors off and let’s be honest no one is better placed than the next person, we are all pretty much guessing. Decent informative posts that are actual fact is what we need.
My own views are simple, I haven’t got a ducking clue About any of this. I have no idea where it will end up, 20p or £3 but like me no one knows. I know we have a product though which I’m lead to believe is pretty decent. I’m also lead to believe we have other products which are Also pretty decent. I believe we will be signed off to sell it but have no idea if anyone will buy it. That’s the risk I’m willing to take.
I believe while we are all frustrated with how things have happened at the end of the David Budd like us is a share holder and it’s in his own interest To make this work plus it won’t do his CV any harm either.
I genuinely wish everyone luck but let’s cut out the nonsense and finger pointing. We all want the same thing. You make your own choices in life so don’t let a random stranger influence that.
Best of luck all and fingers crossed the business delivers not only for us but also them self and helps make the world a safer place moving forward, not just covid related.
