We would love to hear your thoughts about our site and services, please take our survey here.
Not a surprise that very little was sold up until that date. Sp is holding up well after nearly 40 minutes of trading. I hope the presentation will show further uptake of AIHL units in more NHS pilot sites. Look beyond today.
David has indicated that we may be on 6.30PM news tonight.
AIHL test is getting noticed.
Kenbob2nd - he put £500 in and sold at a loss.
I don't think he has bought any again since.
You need mental strength in this game.
RNS - Friday 25th Sept?!
I win the sweepstake and clear my mortgage.
LOL
PP, I don't drink but this share has almost made me start!
Some great people on here that have a lot invested.
If this gets to £3.20, I can pay off my mortgage :)
Some of the LTH's will remember the sweepstake for the Approvals RNS back in the summer
Looking back in my chat history, way back in the dark days of free fall (sat at 71p), I jokingly said and I quote:
-----
Sweepstake (17 Jul 2020 17:20)
Friday 25th September 07:00AM!!
Just kidding, enjoy your sunny weekends you lovely lot.
See you all on Monday - toot toot :)
-----
Little did I know that it could well be!
To all of us patient believers, cheers, let's hope we have 10% up days until next Friday.
All the best
But BB, on the flip side, when you do sell you could probably buy Park Lane :)
Lots of factors determine a share price, not just profit & contracts.
Not one of us knows where this will go but a big factor for me, that not many have mentioned is sentiment and hope.
When we had the 2.20 high earlier in the year, were we in a better commercial position as a business?
When SNG had their fantastic 400% (ish) rise, we closed at 71p on the previous Friday 17th July and by the Wednesday 22nd we were at 95p (on no new GDR news or RNS)
95p just a few pence off current sp (with big sells going on af the time as well)
Are we in a better commercial position now with the Beckman tie up and so many more updates to come?
My point is we all know that our MCAP is very low compared to peers, we are coming into Autumn/Winter (cases will rise, may not be so many deaths, thankfully) & quality testing is the only way forward.
I am more confident that the business will succeed than the day I pushed the buy button.
Not going to speculate sp value at any point but I am quite excited to be part of it :)
'Even the slightest bit of news, good or bad would be something'
So you would be happier if a CEO posted an RNS full of Bad news because at least it would be something....
Please excuse me for not reading any further down your post......
This is a discussion board that should be used to give news, insight, opinion about the company and our investment.
Freedom of speech and all that, say what you want (within reason by the rules) and maybe have a laugh and hopefully enjoy the journey.
One thing though, I have never really understood this fixation of rampers/derampers and taking sides and accusations, constant arguing like kids in a playground. What does it matter or achieve?
"This sp will be in the 40's next week"
"There will be a buyout at 10 quid a share next week"
Whatever mate, these are opinions and if cannot be fact based then they are purely opinions.
You don't make important decisions based on a strangers opinions. If you were going to buy a car and had carefully assessed that it ticked all your boxes, cost, size, performance, comfort, safety etc and someone said "No mate, don't get that family Focus, get this 2 seater Ferrari" you probably wouldn't (even though you might want too but the Missus and the kids wouldn't fit)
We as individuals chose if and when to buy in and should be big enough and ugly enough to stand by our own convictions to either remain comfortable with it, hold firm when looking at paper losses or sell out at a point when we as individuals feel we want to.
You need mental strength when money is concerned.
Rampers/Derampers, sides 'he said' - 'yeah but he said'
Whatever.....
You're on the wrong board mate, easy mistake to make, it's still quite early.
You need to get back on to the 'Sputnik Vaccines Inc' board, lots of speculative chat about a hostile takeover bid coming in from GameChangers R Us.....
That the whole world will be falling over themselves to take a shot of an untested, uncertified 'game changing' vaccine produced by our friends in Russia.
They can be wholly trusted, they love everyone outside of Russia and would be so happy to help the rest of the world.
(Personally I would rather take my chances with catching Covid than taking a Russian vaccine but each to their own)
Interestingly, if you are on LinkedIn - look at the people in Beckman who have 'liked' Steves post about this collaboration. They are in Tokyo, France, Australia, USA. Some of them have also shared other Genedrive posts. It certainly shows momentum building at Beckman.
It doesn't just look like Steve is the only one excited by this.
Taken from Genedrive website - Board of Directors:
Tom LindsayNon-Executive Director
Tom has 35 years of global sales and marketing experience in the diagnostics sector. He most recently worked for Alere Inc. in Africa for 11 years before retiring in 2017. At Alere he held a range of executive posts including President of Africa, President Commercial Operations for Africa, and Business Development Director for Africa; and led the introduction and successful commercialisation of a number of key HIV screening and HIV patient management point of care diagnostics technologies.
Prior to joining Alere Inc., Tom held senior commercial roles at Trinity Biotech (Ireland) including Marketing and Sales Director (Global) and Business Development Director for Africa, Middle East and India. Trinity Biotech specialises in the development, manufacture and marketing of diagnostic test kits.
Looks like he has a lot of experience in Africa, I would hope he still has a few contacts :)
'We have Beckham on board'
Is that David or Victoria?
:)
The free kick is a long way out,
He lines it up,
They weren't expecting this,
Bend it like Beckman ;)
If this was the price sensitive info that Sam had yesterday, jeez.
Don't believe everything you read on here.
How many people have been tearing into DB and his 'lack of action' whilst sat in front of their screens eating a tub of Pringles.
Some have no idea how business at this level is conducted, it isn't quite as simple as going to Costco.
Be patient, have faith in the product, believe in the passion and skill set of the talented scientists.
It is coming along nicely.
You're more than welcome Safy.
I feel this board works so much better as a collective, trying to research and share relevant information so that everyone sees the bigger picture.
I know that the time line has been longer than we all expected but I do believe this is beyond the companies control.
Genedrive is just beginning it's journey and I am happy to hold tickets to see where it goes.
I have no time for the petty arguments, accusations and sometimes personal attacks that some choose to get involved in.
