The divis were great here 3y ago; when I think of revenue lost versus continuing costs since then, I cannot envisage an early return in full flower. Still, in time....
I thing that I am really hoping to see, but that’s unlikely, I’d mention of divis, in Q3 statement.. a potential date of divi return
90% at Q3 and we could see similar numbers if not higher for Q4, by then I am expecting a higher number of employees at airports to make our lives easier.. unless covid makes a crazy come bk, number of flights will only increase.. what will happen next year Q1 is another question, considering the economic problems.. but Q3-Q4 should be great and sp will start pricing that in
Ok Jtan, riddle for you what gos up and then comes back down..even though it will make you frown!
Jtan ...The International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects 2019 levels Should be recovered in 2025 .. that is 2.5years away, so my guess smart money will move to make more in other areas, alot can happen in 2.5 years!
Dodge, no offense. Meant take it easy after all it is bear market for a while. Hopefully next year it would be ok.
Best,
Nut give it a rest, that article is a joke lol anyone who is long here, better to switch off and come bk in 4 weeks time..
More news ... I think Ham may be right ....https://www.investingcube.com/easyjet-share-price-as-flight-cancellations-continue-shares/
SpHamm spends most of his/her time pontificating on the MATD board where he/she is losing money most days - so I wouldn't take them too seriously. Posted on a few airlines etc. like some sort of F Guru just trying to get a better entry price.
It's what people without a pot to p155 in often do...
Ignore, hoover up and keep smiling..
Hamm, accept you have an opinion, that may well
turn out to be correct BUT what’s with the “enjoy
the fall” ???
Big headwind! Airlines are in serious debt! There is only one way for now.
Next stop 350p. ALMHO.
enjoy the fall.
Yep trading at pandemic low while flying at 90% 2019 capacity.. easy money to be made at these lvls
I travelled in the weekend on EasyJ from Paris to London.
Bloody French airport closed the counters for immigration and kept only 3 open out of 12 or so counters! There were massive queues and some of us thought that we will miss the flight. After a lot of complains by the passengers waiting in the queue French airport staff started to prioritize the immigration based on the flight departure timings. EasyJ flight delayed by 45 mins but not cancelled. The flight was full. Even the flight to Paris was full. I have not seen any cancelled flights for any airline.
Airport authorities are to be blamed for the chaos. I asked one of the staff if French airport staff are on strike. She said there was no strike. They have few counters because that is how they like to work she said in sarcasm. She was not happy either for fewer staff.
I thought at Heathrow as well there would be big queues but no. It was smooth and quick.
I'm not worried much with the share price. It will recover. We are now at pandemic lows! Soon we will see 600p.
Could not agree more….well oversold..
The improved load factor on the reduced number of
flights will go some way to mitigating the loss of revenue.
£6 could be a bit conservative as to a fair price..
Shpunken
I agree can't see (without an escalation of war or a lethal covid arrival) that they won't be at £7+ by this time next year

Anyone can see that it’s way oversold, the sp is frankly ridiculous.. right now around £6 would be a fair price.. markets in general are down and some sectors have been heavily oversold.. ppl are scared and would rather sit on cash.. but as we’ve all seen before this never lasts and money will flow bk into the market especially as we get closer to the Q3 results
