@PokerChips- IYO - I wonder how would a Simba and Eve merger work considering they are different brand positioning on both ends.
"Sounds" feasible Poker and requires less of a leap of faith than just blindly saying a 'merger is coming defo mate!' It seems logical straws are being grasped but it does sound, er, sound.
We shall see.
Cheryl has done well and good luck to her...but...what does this say about the next 12 months or so... given her limited CEO type experience. You do see Financial directors become CEO but not so often promotion from Marketing
What it "could" mean though is that the final aim is to have a merger say with Simba and have a mixture of the Simba BOD and Eve BOD , with the Simba CEO eventually being the merged group CEO and that Cheryl's appointment promotion as a designate CEO is only being seen as temporary..and that she will eventually be marketing Director for the enlarged group
Just thinking out loud on what this move may actually mean
Comments ?
Agree. Share purchase by the new CEO at these levels would kickstart this
Cheryl Calverley new CEO. She is a good marketer no doubt key to this business but seems may be lacking of experience in other areas of business. Hope she can demonstrate increase her skin the the game by walking the talk with share purchases so shareholder interests are also aligned.
Haniel acquires 50.1 per cent of Emma 'bed-in-a-box' brand. "The transaction does not include a financing round; the German company claims it is growing profitably on its own." https://tech.eu/brief/haniel-buys-emma/
In January 2020, Cartesian backs Simba Sleep in $24M deal.. and Casper IPO.. this space is still red hot with interested parties. What next for Eve?
