Thanks D-Geeman. I might have a punt if the SP drops back to cash levels or below. I really dont know if that will happen or not but that's how I'd value it right now. I dont think anyone on here is clear on the path to profitably. Lots and lots of ramping but no substance. By how much would sales need to grow at current margins to breakeven? If a product mix shift/ higher margins is the answer in getting to breakeven how realistic is that / what are the products? We're coming out of lockdown now and the high st will bounce back. The upward struggle will only increase. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Aim, it’s tricky isn’t it; with 14 of your last 15 posts written to the Eve bulletin board, the more you write the less we believe your ‘concern’.
Anyway good luck with your investments and hopefully you will join us as an eve shareholder at some point. Obviously it has been trading below 5p at times today. But, I’m not sure you’ll get 3p to 4p this side of news which should drive up the price again; it always has done in the past.
The entire company has been trimmed, remodelled, got rid of non profitable sale platforms, gets fabulous 80% ratings of its mattress design, quality etc ( probably not possibly for any product to get genuine 100% ratings - humans being humans and different strokes for different strokes). Repeat customers now being monitored.
New profitable lines only and sold within quality popular retailers etc etc.
A new carful approach to managing cost of sales with advertising expenditures made to count etc etc.
The new Sleep Wellness approach may just have a unique selling point to get Eve noticed.
But as always dyor.
Love the timestamps D
@Aim - again why waste your time - but clearly your interested - deramping so and so's
i only ramp - not deramp - if i think a stock is crap i get out quietly as id be more worried about getting my money back than typing **** all day
It could range 4-5p for a period before eventually dropping inline with cash holding. That's how I see it playing out and certainly haven't upgraded my projections here. Genuinely I just dont think the business model works and I think that's now becoming apparent (Casper a good example). The only way out long term here is consolidation. Its really unfortunate because the team here seem excellent.
You too Aim :-) I noticed TP's confidence caused you to upgrade your own SP forecast by 25% – which is pretty bullish:
(25 Mar 2021 10:22) Aim: "drift backwards and then track cash holding (3-4p currently)"
(Fri, 26th Mar 2021 07:00) RNS Director dealing: 'and Tim Parfitt 200,000 Options'
(31 Mar 2021 09:43) Aim: "dropping back into a 4-5p range."
Yes - big transaction from Tim P, he must be really confident ;)
Hey guys, I just joined the platform and as an EVE shareholder, thought id jump in on the conversation with you all. : )
Nice to see a platform still working on the old model of a forum as well. Old school but refreshing.
Im not an experienced trader by any means but Ive been in a lot of business over my career, from startups to large corps and from a share options perspective, a good signal to look for in any business is when the CFO is buying shares - I suspect Tim Parfitt already has a good share option as part of his employment with EVE, but to see the person who has direct access to the financial performance of the business buying shares, is always a good sign.
As he's last purchase was the end of March for 100,000 - I suspect they had a good Q1.
Nice to be here and share thoughts. :)
Just a small profit round about 200-500k would be a yearly performance over 3-5%. imagine if eve make a profit over 1million in one year. this would be a 13% performance per year. The cash grow very fast the first years. At the same time eve can make mor revenue so its growing and growing....
Reposting due to my errors - it’s past my bedtime. I must actually buy an Eve mattress to nod off instead of present old thing!
—- Wih over 80% improvement in the overall reduction from losses in recent Eve financial reports and with the new strategy in place, so if current sales hold up or even outperform last 12 months additionally the new but more importantly profitable sleep wellness ranges expanding and now in popular UK and France retailers - a profit this year seems possible - this will provide a lot of long term holders with confidence and probably new share investors hence demand for both holding and buying may increase.
* if current sales hold up ( apologies for the typo).
With over 80% improvement in the overall reduction from losses with the new strategy in place of current sales hold up or out perform last 12 months plus the new but more importantly profitable sells wellness ranges expanding and now in Boots UK and the France retailers - a profit this year seems possible - this will provide a lot of long term holders with confidence and probably new share investors hence demand for both holding and buying may increase.
I think channel4 believe in eve. cause they accept payment with shares.... so channel4 could believe the price will go up again...
Yeap Cannel 4 invested and may have had their shares at the historical much higher prices than today’s price.
Keep up the positive progress and a big thank you to the board and employees for working on through Covid.
I stand corrected. Better news.
BiffBaffBoff,
Channel 4 / 4 Ventures, have held shares for a
year or 2 and already hold over 4%.

Can't see C4 holding onto these shares, they're not investors, the shares were probably in place of advertising costs, so IMO we will see them sell out asap. Shouldn't take too long to churn through that amount, 2 - 3 weeks? if that.
I load up again. :)
good news more to come ;)
