DS was just merely reminding what Eurasia-Mining has got in their licensed owned assets.......
It just shows what can happen with the effect of two PGM mines being suspended due to natural causes, the basket prices go north......
2 points;
1. am sure that in one of the interviews with DS that it was mentioned that should a deal/sale (assuming it is MT) or a JV occur a special dividend might be paid, ie sale of an asset, but I cannot find that video anymore and have looked and I cannot say with 100% certainty that is what I saw but it it is still in my mind.
2. What was said in the Tweet exactly?
From the start with MT they were intending to use a third party to do all the mining and processing of ore for them as they initially did at WK.
You heard him mention Rhodium in interview back in late 2019, it was $5000 an ounce, it has multi bagged since then. It's a massive price increase and will have made a big difference valuation wise.
He's also very professional, you'll have noticed that with the complete lack of any leaks throughout all of this, so, the only thing he can tweet is the metal prices. We already know what an increase in metals prices means in terms of potential asset value.
It's good that he does tweet every now and then, it shows that he's fit and well, all is good etc. I bet his grin is massive with that Rhodium price.
GLA
Not sure he’s put coded messages on Twitter. God knows. But fsp means that. He had no intention of becomes full scale miners.
Sounds like the most plausible conclusion to me. Asset disposal rather than share sale. The other asset should then rerate.
I'd take that. Special divi, and some chips still on the table. Especially if the DFS is good.
Possible Lamstree,
The WK tweet said more updates coming, why say that if it's sold....hmm.
They had past interest in WK but were never interested whereas with MT they encouraged the interest and in the past also said they were wanting to sell it although nothing came of it back then.
WK is as simple as mining comes, MT is far more complicated.
DS has retweeted the Kitco Hourly Quotes 100s of times. In all honesty, there's not much to read from that.
Pics of WK is just to show we're business as usual until the recommended offer has been accepted by the BoD and announced. no restriction for DS to retweet.
DS was inactive on twitter for quite a while until last week. He must have been extremely busy processing the deal. The fact that he has time for twitter tells me its over to the lawyers.
bottom line
Under the FSP, DS is not allowed to give you ANY clue as to what's going on with the deal.
could he be trying to tell us this, that etc = him breaking the FSP rules which he would never do.
So like i said above, don't read too much into it.

Lancerman (firstly apologies for doubting your support of the share a week or so ago, and it's nice to see you have been a bit more tolerant of folks recently). Good points, although we don't what is covered by the NDA, possibly it could have been specified that certain things can be revealed if no deal. Anyway, agreed I doubt it will come to that and also agree with your earlier point that a quid a share would mean the BOD has swam The Channel if we get that. GL and GLA.
What tweet are we talking about?
Agree. It would be unprofessional. However, it is probably coincidence or hopefully excitement.
If no deal then I'd expect an RNS to tell us the rejected non binding offers. If they say we turned down a quid a share, I can see a big rise from here.
hmm, I would like to think that the BOD would notify us immediately if no deal materialised rather than retweeting social media posts and leaving us to stew.
If that's the case we'll find out tomorrow morning.
Personally, I hope not as I'm not here for that.
Then the offers weren't even close to what's it's worth in the BoD's mind, and the long term prospects are great and even more profit is coming in the future. Either way, we win if you don't have to sell your shares for something else.
Surely tho they would just say.... no deal why leave up in the air?
Lancerman
Yes this the other side of it I see too.
Why bother tweeting about prices.. unless to remind buyers what they're still trying to sell them.
Admittedly you could also say, maybe they are onto the next stage of negotiation now, and final value is the only focus.
We 're all guessing...but hopefully only going one way now
lancerman
He's still in the FSP and can re-twit as he's done before during the fsp but like you say, he's been quite since late Oct.
May be his work is done and its time for the lawyers to close it out. I very much doubt he needs to nudge any of the buyers, they all know each other and the future of our minerals. We're very close to conclusion. All positive me think. GL
