A little Chinese birdie
Hi Mike,
I was on a big(ish) paper loss on SXX back in Oct and started monitoring other stocks on LSE to see if I could recoup my losses. I came across EUA when it did the 100-200% rises in consecutive days and bought in at around 1.5p! Sold some along the way to recoup my losses on SXX and then bought back in before the freeze and some more at 19p. Just hoping a sale happens and this goes for £1+ and it will be happy days!!
Cheers

Yes SXX was a big disappointment - so many of us were gutted but that SXX lse chat led me here and ggp - thank you thank you thank you!
A stockscreener
My mate in work (who has a pony tail at the age of 50) put me on to these at 2.9. Went in pretty big off the back off some research. Was an opportunity most of the market was missing. Paid off handsomely already but I’m not selling a bean till the end game
I read the Headline RNS's most days and see if anything catches my eye and then go and do some research. You can get a feel for what's going on in the wider market or specific sectors. I then put them on a watchlist for a while. You also get to understand more about how companies announce information & what some of the regulatory RNS's mean.
As always you should DYOR and only risk what you can afford to lose.

I bought millions 5 years ago at .0165 but cannot remember why but not complaining.GLA LTH's
Totally by accident - I'm invested in Europa Metals (EUZ) and searched EUA in error and had read a few posts prior to realising my that it wasn't EUZ .... An error that has brought me much reward!
I found it just exploring lse.co.uk and discussion on the BB got me interested.
Kick up the arse by SXX ... and landed here.
And Couldn't be happier
A mention on either AMC or SXX which had me do some research into it.
cross ramping isn’t always a bad thing

Body = bod
The big attractions for me (apart from the assets) were the body - esp when they had directors being financed by other directors share pools vs dilution ( how fantastic is that) bear in mind amerisur were giving shares to themselves willy nilly at the time & making jam tomorrow statements whilst buttering the bod's sandwich only.
Morning Mike
I had been in another mining share named Amur Minerals (AMC) and done respected posters on there were talking about EUA.
I did research upon research and then took the jump.
Good luck shipmate (finding myself talking nautical constantly now)
It was sirius mins for me,,took masive loss there, but if all goes the way i think it will go,,should get my money back and a bit more, gla :-)
Mentioned on SSX BB- Last October
Cross ramping found me in the meir of an amerisur awful sale, so I was on the hunt for an out. When I poked my head into eua & researched it is immediately liquidated half my oil stock piled in at 1.56p by the time the sp = 3p I was all in.
If amerisur sale had concluded slightly quicker I'd have bn 100% at 1.56p (I really really hate amerisur )
Good morning mike
Easy answer for me, I love this sector for investing, I’ve got a few medical shares but I’m not that clued up with science
Mining is the one for me! Hope that helps
Good morning all,
First time I have ever posted on a bb. I'm invested here since mid July and have topped up a few times recently. I have read this board with interest, almost continuously since I first invested and I'm very grateful for all the shared research and humour.
Last night and this morning have been the quietest I have seen, is this the calm before the storm?
One thing that I have wondered is how the lth on here came to invest. It was easy for me, plenty of noise and a tip in July, research and initial investment. I'm really interested in why people invested a year or more ago.
I guess I'm trying to get an idea how to find the next big thing earlier in the process.
