Quant, I totally agree we need more information and an RNS fully explaining the deal so that we can make a rational decision. As it stands yesterday's RNS was so cryptic it raised more questions than answers and to me was as clear as mud, which I think is being reflected in the sp today. It certainly didn't light the touchpad. A lot of us have tied our money up in here for months/years now and have held onto the shares on the information given over the last 12 months regarding the fsp in the hope of a big deal and payout. During that time a lot of money could have been made on other investments elsewhere. Equally, we supported the company regarding the recent vote, so I agree we are entitled to a further RNS update so we are better informed regarding our investment because as it stands at present I feel we are still in limbo with potential other financial opportunities passing us by.
"I think ppl should take 5 seconds out to google what MKT stands for................"
MORTAL KOMBAT TRIOLOGY!
*Buys Nintendo shares*
IMO if it’s a mistake then it should’ve been £0.8bn
Hoax...really. worst case it's a silly mistake, best case it's a slip.
Let's all do the research, before posting.
Mkt - Mortal Kombat Trilogy
The BoD and the advisors will want a substantial payout from the sale too.
If the plan is to sell most of the assets then there will be a hefty price for that.
The "credible party" may not want the company, since that would come with conditions for the new owner, e.g. what happens to the current employees, etc., and only want the assets.
Maybe buying EUA assets is more acceptable to the "credible party" than buying the company.
What ever the we sell and however we sell it, it will be worth it.
I am sure BoD want to be multi-millionaires out of this venture.
I don't buy it. It's a hoax.
I think ppl should take 5 seconds out to google what MKT stands for................
I agree - it needs clarification. It's there in black & white..... very odd to make a mistake like this.
Why put 28p and next to it Mkt £2.8bn. It doesn't make any sense. The current SP doesn't relate to that mcap at all.
28p,mkt £799m or expected SP £1, mkt £2.8bn
Surely if this was a leaked document, dealing with a multi-billion pound sale, I would expect it to be a little bit clearer.
Bodmin....that is true, but they have also sent through a corrected version....let's see how this plays out, at the moment we can't say for definite either way.
I agree Panino - it's not a rumour, people are able to download it from SP Angels. So it's either a mistake or a leak.................
Panino is correct its there in black and white on the report. Whilst most are assuming its an error it could also be a leaked Mcap... very strange error to make.
GLA TGU
B1ll, it's you who's at it.
Download the report and see for yourself, before you rubbish others.
Whatever you say, SP Angel reported £2.8bn Mkt and whilst likely a silly mistake, will need clarification.
Agree B1ll, twatter is only for the Kardashian celebrity mob and woke crowd it's a dump.
Let's not forget UBS released 8.3/8.5 with mistakes in the past it happens.
Skipp, no rumour buddy. It's in black and white.
As to the reason for the posting of £2.8bn mkt, we shall have to see.
Oriens1 - I agree. It's just very clear that there isn't any support for the rumour. So nobody in the know is in that know.
We are due another RNS imo, this time with meat on the bones to clarify exactly what is being offered. Once this is known the way forward will become clear.
At the moment we are still unable to form a rational investment opinion based on all of the pertinent facts. Those that were inside the FSP will know more than we do, this current situation is therefore untenable imo. I expect that this will be resolved shortly.
Register and download the news from today at SP Angel.
Twatter at it again.
These cranks will get us suspended again.
Would love an Rns to come out this afternoon and state that it's b.s........it's £5.8B not £2.8B :-)
Skippy......no it wouldn't, it would go straight to a quid if the company released an rns....at the moment it's just a rumour, and the sp has risen a tiny bit. If the rumour mill gets stronger and people pile in then the sp will start to move
Correct Skippy, no real SP movement means those connected and / or in the know are aware this is a clerical error or fake nonsense.
To me this is simple. The FSP has now concluded. All those 'inside' the FSP had their hands tied by NDA's and could not act on what they knew. Now they can.
This may go hostile, that would likely get the best result for shareholders via bids and counter-bids.
The BOD have played a blinder and used the process to this end imo. The reaction of the SP will ultimately tell us if this is what is going on. It could run out of the MM's control, wouldn't that be fun lol!
Looking frisky at the moment. GLA.
The market does not think this is true otherwise the SP would be £1.00 + more or less immediately.
there are 2.8Bn shares in issue.
