I would guess there are "green" opportunities that might make sense from a financial point of view, and if so hope they go for it. Svt related maybe the most probable
Cost savings in general can be considered green. Maybe gas and/or wind investment related to AK.
Agreed ENQ should focus on oil and licence to operate issues such as reducing our production emissions.
That said it would really be rude not to participate in any Sullem Voe Venture as long as it is not too capital intensive and low margin.
Maybe oil is the way to make money, at least for Enq? If there is a good opportunity at e.g. SVT AB and co will for sure go for it, but I for sure hope they focus on making money and not on costly green investments. Enqs edge vs e.g. BP is size (always pros and cons with size) and focus on oil now that the tide turns
Romaron Chilting is right Enquest must also diversify into green energy, oil is seen as filthy and has to be dropped one day like coal, we are here to make money and I don’t care where that comes from as long as it comes, I want Enquest to diversify into green energy to bring back the major investors pushing up our Mcap.
Most people don’t care if it’s green or black.
Just it goes up.
Most people also don’t care about valuations.
Just it goes up.
AMC entertainment now have close to 40k Swedish shareholders at Avanza only.
Enquest have 7500.
Can AB give something better then free popcorn?
Chilting is a troll full stop, talks green buys oil stocks FFS two faced troll
Typo - viewers not listeners and I was comparing it to BBC news.
I know you where not adressing me Romaron. If you ask me its sometimes a bit too much of topic (maybe from me too).
In my opinion there shall be quite some room on this board when it comes to environment and emissions but no reason to go on only about that. The generalnsentiment is anyway one of the best things with Enq. Very limited downside imho but there is actually an upside, people might realise we need oil for a few more years. What if people al of a sudden start to realise oil is vital and on a global scale the consumption will remain at these levels for quite some time? We need companies to procide supply as long as there is high demand!
When it comes to Enq the dramatic change comes if we get growth or at least not decline (lot of opportunities), improved profit margind (primarily poo) together with a change in oil company valuation. Add all up and the upside looks attractive while the downside, in my opinion, is primarily poo (one day all will realise that oil will actually be needed next year too) and high dependance on few assets (drunken sailors and meteors been mentioned here, but the list is of course long when it comes to offshore oil business)
Aloj, I am relaxed but I wasn't addressing you. If you appreciate moronic posters whose understanding of how markets operate is pathetically ignorant and act as though they can read the future then continue reading them. There is another narrative starting and the ESG campaign was largely unopposed. That is changing.
Look at the recently launched GB News. It doesn't represent my views but does have a growing fanbase. Its robust unwoke appoach resulted in several companies withdrawing their advertising. That resulted in possibly the quickest hand brake-turn in UK advertising history as they quickly reversed their decisions or risked losing a chunk of the public. GB News recently got more listeners than the BBC. Money talks.
Romaron standing up pushing his neck above all the other apparent dim wits on here. Lol
Romaron you are no better than any of us on here. We all have different views and strategies and that’s why we chat on here.
Get off your high horse ffs
Quite agree R…..filtered man!
Relax Romaron
Enquest built it (and still do)
Now we are just waiting for high poo to come
Romaron, I think your bit hard.
You make it sound like they are like the guy in movie cable guy. Lol.
I think they normal persons, we all just different individuals.
Why are you wasting time responding to chilting? His obsession with EnQuest and desire to comment on every flutter of the price suggests something isn't right. The number of postings indicates this is his life! Leave him in a cupboard with Kraken Oil. He isn't that bright at all and most of his prognostications are of the could go up, could go down variety. His knowledge of trading is abysmal but he talks as though he's some kind of expert. He is not. I traded and broked FX for 27 years and there are many similarities to share trading. I am not a FX expert. I'd rather have a troll than the insipid neediness that he projects. He needs a friend; are you sure you want to be that person?
