.... It feels like buying pound coins for pennies at these prices. There is always risk - "many a slip twixt cup and lip" and all that - but you shouldn't be on AIM if you don't understand that.
Alca
It's purely my timing re funds availability. That's all :-)
I'd buy now if I could but won't have the funds
Alco I am curious what difference does it make when the shares actually add. We know the price so unless they intend to sell immediately at 1p profit it makes no difference. I hope it improves liquidity but we have seen the last two days that buying is strong although mostly below the mid.
Just too crazily cheap for what they have. I had pledged to myself not to buy any more being fully loaded, but I have decided that once the placing shares are admitted I will look to add over time to maintain my percentage.
Never thought we'd see them this low ever. I will take advantage of the opportunity presented. Just need to free up funds from elsewhere....
Fat finger .
Sterling better than dollars.
Better times ahead I hope for the patient investors
here.
The sector is starting to attract attention and the share price is a long way below anything that makes sense. The price held in the 30's and 40's without news and certainly it can go back there very easily
Yes we'll have to disagree on that one - I just don't see how the SP will just automatically drift higher without a nudge. Markets are brutal at the moment and Enet has always been a bit unloved and misunderstood. It never gets tweeted about, the day traders are totally unaware of it and it makes something very complex for clients that want things kept opaque. Getting an upfront payment worth 20% of the market cap will however get people to take notice.
Bid I don't agree at all. I don't think that we'll need any news to lift the share price to warrant trigger. People can see the 5G boom looming and like gold shares anything 5G will gain punters. The share price went down on finance which is now settled so no reason the derisk won't work the other way. Give it a week things will look different
£880000 not $. It will last well into next year. They have $2m income from contracts sign above and beyond the normal royalties received from legacy contracts.
Yes they need some contracts hopefully with capable connected resellers. The important advance will be the lab testing in China. I hope that they don't do many more sideline contracts as they are distractions.
I would like them to concentrate on developing the ACEnic-100 and UEP. The avionics switch is possibly the only other field that they should be looking at right now.
That's actually a GBP figure dallo so add on 25% for USD. It's going to take some news to get those warrants into play within 12 months so need some positive news from the testing or other contracts with revenue figs. The 'good' news of being so low is that from a 4m market cap it should be able to shift higher fairly rapidly.
So the company has raised $880,000 before expenses which should see it through until year end.
Now the race is on to secure big contracts with hopefully some upfront payments.
If it does achieve this it has a fighting chance of takeoff next year.
It cannot afford any more disappointments or it will be curtains....ie will be bought out for a song by a bigger player.
We are still in the game but management with plenty of skin in the game must now show its mettle .
Still a believer ...just
David hasn't had any dilution he has just had to invest cash to maintain his share.
There are many in the same boat Ask. I am fortunate I do not need to sell any within the next year, by which point I believe we will hopefully have recovered.
It's a real shame the management have not had a better strategy in dealing with the financing.
Unfortunately we are not party to the discussions and the doors that they may have knocked on. I can understand from David's point of view that he would not have wanted any dilution, and it seems he fought it off until the last degree, and even then gone for the absolute bare minimum. For me this company is amazing, really innovative and has some great attributes (probably the best growth prospects on AIM).
However like most you, what sticks in the craw is how badly the financing has been handled. I still believe that come H2 2021, the company will be cashflow generative and posting a decent profit (as we've seen the rns on the various wins, deals, agreements, they've built a great foundation) - but as always a great deal of patience is required until we get there!
unfortunaltey this has come at a bad time for me and I can't afford to purchase anymore right now to get the average down, but at the same time I am not sure I would increase my risk either, too many eggs in one basket already on this one. But the price is an absolute bargin if they can turn this around quickly, for new investors coming in at this price it's bloody amazing, I thought I was getting the ultimate bargin at 40p, now look LOL
Just had a contract note through and I got all the shares I asked for.. it wasn't loads but will still help getting average lower.
