EIB ups financing for Fiat Chrysler's electric vehicles to 800 million euros
Will Cinovec be next ?

Thing is Noise, it is very rare for any of these ‘big’ comoanies To get involved in anything that they perceive to be risky, they would rather buy EMH for $10bn in 5 years time when it has been in revenue for 2 years than pay $1bn now, they just don’t take those risks. Even CEZ has invested in a third party entity rather than take it in house. Likewise the resource that someone mentioned, never developed in house but maybe spun out as a project, interesting idea.
I do wonder if BP and others might be sitting on geological data that would lead to sources of lithium?
Don't click the link below, parry has put it on 300 odd boards for some strange reason.

I was wondering how tempting it would be for BP to buy into the Cinovec project, it's core product is in decline and it has made serious moves into alternative energy projects. Whether they really want to get into mining and batteries is probably unlikely, but they are trying hard to get involved in wind and solar.
Thank you, LawrenceH. I'm ashamed with myself that I have taken far too long to adopt the Warren Buffett style of investing. I bore him in mind when I made my heavy purchases of EMH a few months ago. The planets began to align for EMH as its Cinovec project looked more and more re-risked. I am VERY grateful to the stalwarts of this BB who have been both encouraging and very informative. I would not have made that commitment without the brilliant posts and links, so thanks to all !
It's worth repeating from one of Fingers' excellent recent posted links a sum-up comment from Simon Moores, MD of Benchmark Mineral Intelligence regarding Tesla:
"There is no doubt now that regardless of how well Tesla's vehicles continue to sell, raw material availability will be the primary slowing factor on the company scaling."
We will hear much more on Tuesday on their Battery Day. I understand that Benchmark have their own streamed analysis on Wednesday, 23rd. I'm really rather excited by all this as I think we're on the cusp of a major industrial metamorphosis.
GLA and keep safe.
Enteleon, always great to read your posts.
Perhaps a moment for some soothing words from Warren Buffett: -
"The Stock Market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient “
It will be great when people wake up to the Enormity Of EMHs Resources & Overall Scaleable Project Size.?
Right Place - Right Time - Right Now
ColinH100: I could not agree more. There is some resistance at 24/24.5 pence (prior 52 week high) and we seem to have bounced off that. With the near-term Tesla "Battery Day" this coming Tuesday, 22nd, we will doubtless get a very useful window into the EV world. Elon Musk has promised some surprises ! Listing on the Czech bourse will attract new investors, particularly with the heft of CEZ being in the top13 Czech equities.
Even rather intelligent people can be poor at anticipation- Musk is a notable exception. My take on things is that incredibly smart battery research, combined with heavy investment in the Lithium processing and building of the several Gigafactories
planned for Europe will proceed at great speed, but will be met with a supply crunch and a bit of an "oh sh*t!" moment. The environmental impact of Lithium mining is probably holding things back, with politicians tossing and turning wanting to do the right long-term sustainable thing. I think their hands will be forced as the EV motor manufacturers crank up their Lithium demand and the rhetoric, and probably the financial will, are forced to go with it.
A few ups and downs of the SP don't change the investment case for EMH for me one iota. I am delighted that UK-quoted AIM is at last in the spotlight, but some of the very frothy stocks out there will not, in my view, have a 20-year + future and some investors may get terribly burned. I'm sticking firmly to the plan and I'm not in a mood to sell nor to trade. EMH holds out too much promise ! GLA and keep safe.
Absolutely unbelievable that the price should drop today. Who on Earth would be selling up with all the good news surrounding this share?
its a fair assumtion to think things would proceed that way, still short of 500m so once that loan is ok'ed the remainder needed would be made up from other grants? loans from other parties that can be repaid over first two years life of mine?

Northvolt met with EIB 30th of Jan 2019 Article “ European Battery Stakeholders Unite “
The article above it “European backing for Northvolts battery Gigafactory in Sweden “ took place 15th may 2019
Essentially I am trying to point out the MOU took 3.5 months to announce after their meeting with EIB , so I am assuming , considering that we have just had meetings with them this month , we may have a funding MOU B4 Xmas or at least maybe Jan 2021 .
Pending finalization of due diligence and negotiations, the EIB’s financing commitment is foreseen to be EUR 350 million
The European Investment Bank has given its in-principle agreement to support the financing of Europe’s first home-grown gigafactory for lithium-ion battery cells, Northvolt Ett, in Sweden. Upon conclusion of a loan agreement, the financing would be supported by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), the main pillar of the Investment Plan for Europe.
I suspect Sid we will get this sort of news B4 Xmas too the above figure is just shy of our capex requirement
Congrats Rpks !!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to having a little baby!
Watch the rally from here til Xmas Sid , Santa will be good to us this year .
Next news :
Czech listing Imminent
Drill results soon after listing
Mou with Northvolt late next month
Purity test of core samples for offtakers
Mou VW November
Increased production plan December
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh yes agreed we all want Cinovec to happen , as long as Krupa pays fair price and stops trying to undermine the existing shareholders to get in on the cheap, im sure things will move nicely in an upwardly direction, eager to hear about drilling and the listing, Off takers too, so much news could arrive nicely for that listing help it get off to a good start.
Recent KOD spike was based on 30% daily volume traded of SOI resulting in spike which subsequently settled back so would expect if krupa foolish enough to try to accumulate 20% on market potential similar but not necessarily rsulting in a rerate which sticks, I'd guess 50-60p
Sid, if Krupa accumulate 20% of the Shares, How High Do You Think The SP Will Go ?
I will hazard a guess at £0.80p + and in that scenario they are welcome to be a part of EMH and My / Our Fortune lol lol and just think from £0.80p there will only be one way for the SP and that is much much Higher.
Looking Goooood
