Integumen PLC
("Integumen" or "Company")
Integumen announces successful results of AI water research project
Rinocloud AI remotely detects contaminated water with 99.3% accuracy in 3.37 seconds
Integumen today announces the successful results of a three-year development Remote Automated Water Test research project (RAWTest), using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a consortium partly funded by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The Project
The consortium comprised of the Irish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Cork Institute of Technology's (CIT) Centre for Advanced Photonics & Process Analysis (Cappa Group), the CIT Nimbus embedded systems research institute and the AI team from Integumen's Rinocloud subsidiary.
Rinocloud's AI platform was used to test water samples from a fully autonomous data buoy deployed on the Inniscarra Water Reservoir in Cork, Ireland, for E.coli, a bacterium that can cause illness in humans, including diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fever and sometimes vomiting.
Results: The positive detection of E.coli bacteria in the water was detected with 99.3% accuracy in 3.37 seconds. This compares to current standard test detection time of between 5-7 days.
Gerard Brandon, CEO of Integumen plc, comments:
"Integumen continues to lead the way with practical demonstrations of solutions for real-world problems. Remote detection of water contamination across the globe is a first and third world problem with future climate change threatening to increase flooding and contribute to water shortages. This means increased reliance on recycling and recovery of water supplies, which in turn requires wireless monitoring of all water supplies before consumer consumption. RAWTest, we believe, can contribute to keeping our water, and healthcare, safe."
Wireless RAWTest
-- Rinocloud's AI engine analysed wireless transmission of water data for 13 key AI features, which work as indicators, from 1000+ data elements identified by Raman Spectroscopy.
-- Results showed a 99.3% accuracy in identifying E.coli in water
-- A system of exception alarms was set up by email to escalate a positive sample to the appropriate control group
-- All data was immediately available on the secure Rinocloud portal for access by approved parties for immediate action
-- Potential for other microscopic parasite detection, e.g. Cryptosporidium and Giardia, following data samples input.
Water Scarcity:
Water scarcity is the lack of freshwater resources to meet water demand. It affects every continent and was listed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum as one of the largest global risks in terms of potential impact over the next decade([i]) .
The deployment of wireless RAWTest Buoys in water treatment plants would be a world first and have a positive impact on water consumer service metrics, reducing the average length of time water would be shut off in the event of contamination, red
Cruise is awaiting port stops, not the float/sail...... :)
And gaining momentum as we type.....
All the best (retirees go cruising, plenty of cruising money.......:()
HSD I don’t believe there is anything comparable to real-time water monitoring which is why that excites me so much as well as MWG and its amazing tech and ecowaterOS has proved the concept with ecoli well over a year ago.
Glebewhite, correct:

Hi Sandiago,
If you can listen to the Proactive interviews a number of references to the Cruise industry and GBs twitter, off the top of my in head one of the quotes was something like 'lots of interest from the Cruise industry' some of the Broker notes also make reference
This month R40.............!
regardless of NDA's......... :)
All the best (just over x3 weeks max........... :()
Retireby40 - "I expect the water monitoring to generate revenue a lot more quickly than BT snd that’s fine with me."
Again, I disagree. By far the biggest share price movements here have been caused by news about the breathalyser.
Retireby40 - "if the test/s are effective they’ll want it"
That's another assumption that people on here are taking as fact. But in reality they might be looking for other solutions. There are no guarantees they'll even be willing to sit down and talk to Deepverge if it hasn't already been arranged and confirmed.
"You know that things are tough for the SP, when BB posts are more than trades. Oh dear!!
(Which I've just added to, Muppet)"
LOL - just done my bit on both sides, another 50k in the pot at 11.02 which hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully the seller is nearly cleared.
I’m not saying it doesn’t I’m saying I don’t need evidence that we’re in talks with cruise cos or the like as if the test/s are effective they’ll want it. The most important thing is successful testing.
Also a large proportion of boxes ticked doesn’t tell us anything!
Anyway, I’m sure the test/s will work and I expect the water monitoring to generate revenue a lot more quickly than BT snd that’s fine with me. So excited re water monitoring and if BT works well it’s a massive plus.
whoops 47 Vs 54........!
but as ya know Paul, vol in quantities rather than individual trades........! :()
All the best (vol will be bested tomorrow also........ IMO ......... :()
Retireby40, but the test does work!
"the breath tests meets a large proportion of the "Desired" and "Acceptable" elements of the document"

A test that works and standards to enable it to be approved and rolled out. Fantastic.
Results due R40...........!
even over due........... :()
All the best (why, and it ain't cos it don't work....... :()
We can talk to as many cos and or govs as we like but if the test doesn’t work as well as needed it’s immaterial/redundant. Let’s get the test working snd working well and it’ll sell itself.
HelloSanDiego.......... :)
When you find the holy grail information provider.....!
please share with us all....... :()
All the best (until then, we'll rely on trillsg........... :)
Retireby40 - "Whether we’re in talks with the cruise cos is immaterial."
I disagree. I think it would be very significant if it has been confirmed.
My only sources of information are this board, RNSs and Proactive interviews. So if anybody knows where I can find more information about that I would appreciate it.
Whether we’re in talks with the cruise cos is immaterial. If either test works they’ll surely sell themselves and if both well even better. Proof will be in the testing results.
Let’s also remember we have £3.6m in MWG orders and we did nearly £2.4m in labskin in Q4. I really hope we can commercialise the water monitoring H1 and it’ll sell itself. I imagine we’ll have issues keeping up with demand.
Glebewhite - "we know we are in talks with the cruise industry"
Has that been confirmed anywhere or just hinted at?
My Fingers would be worn out with all dem der words..........!
however, I had chat with our trillsg just last night on the same (similar) subject .......... :)
It works (time stamp) we should be told (cos price sensitive), but in testing (phase 3) someone knocks and NDA's .....? what the outcome........ duty to shareholders by law, or the NDA...........?
All the best (genuine question....... :)
If there was any news that had a material effect on the share price it must be published at the earliest opportunity it would be against the rules to hold back this information, be it positive or negative, so any idea that a multi million £ contract is going to be announced on St Patrick’s day is pure fantasy, this is serious business
There is no signed contract at the moment, if there was it would be published, in my limited knowledge of such things, I believe there is a none disclosure agreement during what could be pre contract negotiations with multiple partners, theses are complicated processes that cannot be rushed, we have been told the technology works, it is a question of how well, we know an unrelated version of the BT is currently in use in Holland now. We know the WHO are advocating this type of home administered test, we know we are in talks with the cruise industry, we know that waste water is being monitored for Covid in a number locations around the world, there is so much going on keep the faith it’s a marathon not a sprint.
Happy to be corrected on anything above, it only my opinion
The only mugs are the short term mistimed traders NU..........!
and your not one of them....... are you.......... ?
All the best (first week of Q1 nearly over .......:()
It is soul destroying to watch. I wish there was less of these tweets though, now everyone is dropping paddy’s day as the next big thing when it could end up as nothing best not to ramp it. I’m putting these down as a bottom drawer stock and forgetting about them for a while as there’s no point in watching the SP in the red everyday.
I almost feel like a retail mug actually. Holding a falling share is not what I expected to be saying by now. We all know the bigger picture for DVRG and its opportunities but it's been painful see this value just slipping by the day as buyers ignore the stock but sellers seems happy to keep on dropping shares. It has to turn one day but how and when.
:) yep I'm a retail muppet and proud!
Whoop, whoop go retail muppet crew!
The market will not ignore a good share forever, we will get our pay day! 4 weeks to the end of Q1 and I'm sure we will see a much improved SP by then.
