Why?
TW Scumbag !!
lovely summary bigbaddaz!
Aidan has recently spoken to in two separate Interviews in regards to raising further funds which will be used to grow the company.
One interview with Proactive Investor and the other more recent was with Tom Winnifrith of Share prophets ........ the later one you had to subscribe to at a cost of £9.99.
I did subscribe, even though I believe ALL existing shareholders should not have had to pay, but I’m glad I did.
I am not concerned in the slightest about the future funding that will be required. It has never been a secret and we should not be afraid of it. If it is used to grow the company it will add value.
Aidan recently purchased shares at 3.6p so the funding talks were clearly going well.
Aidan also stated in the share prophet interview there would be absolutely no way Dish will be going round the city with the begging bowl ........... if you watch the interview and read his body language this is no CEO trying to pull the wool over the eyes of shareholders, he meant it and has an air of confidence in regards to how the funding will unfold.
There is a new Tech fund particularly investing in the Restaurant sector .......... watch this space.
That's good news if they stick to it
I hope not a placing every share I have been invested in gets a placing and stops any massive rise!!
In advance talks for next year with whom? I hope the funding will not dilute existing holders.
I'd prefer the business to take on long term debt or even better a government loan rather than a rights issue at favorable rates to the institutions or at a market discount placing on primary bid or something.
Hopefully they don't dilute shareholders by doing a rights issue and raise the necessary financing via long term debt or a government CBILS loan.
Jsmith/Spero had a positive reply from the restaurant I just sent the link too:
Hi Sam, not at all thank you for thinking of us! I hope you are safe and well!
Hopefully they’ll put there details in
The restaurant numbers are a lot more than last year too!! When restaurants start trading again this will have a big rally imo at the beginning of July (subject to ease of restrictions)
Not always no,
Some i just recommend with out talking others i will speak to
Tom and co, have the Ability to sell the benefits of Dish to them
When you email him do you always speak to the restaurants first or not?
Im going to email my list once Tom is back i n the office as some restaurants not open atm
Every little helps lol
Thanks Jsmith, I have just sent the link to the restaurant via FB hope they don’t mind, I’ll put all the restaurants I can think of locally in an email too! I will be like an employee of dish going round asking if they want to all sign up lol
Hi Tanya, Interstesting comment about them being days away from taking customers from deliveroo...
What is that makes you think BD will be able to compete with deliveroo? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought big dishes business model looked to offer last minute discounted seats to dine in - not delivery? Therefore surely a given restaurant could work with both Big Dish and Deliveroo?
Its tom@bigdish.com or aidan@bigdish.com
I haven't used the link before
Thanks Spero
Jsmith I have a few local restaurants in mind that may be interested is there a link to refer restaurants? Or just email? What’s toms email if so and is the a web page I can share with the restaurants I think maybe interested?
or just get them to register interest here:
https://www.bigdish.com/partner/
Sam any restaurants in your local area that may be interested in Dish
Make a note to send to Tom once they are back, Monty kindly introduced Flavors of Brazil to Dish
Sounds promising
Tanya a local Indian restaurant in my area, i wasn't aware but also has 7 other sites in London including the City
I may send this to Tom once they are back, nice little addition 7 or 8 sites and they do delivery
Yeah exactly what I meant Jsmith you got it bang on!
I think he meant panic sellers will cause a pullback
LTH know revenue has never been the focus, acquisition of restaurants was the focus
So yes expect a pull back but also a bounce
Tanya I’m not worried but I know it’s going to panic a lot of investors
