Been here since it was 16p.
Been here for since in was 16p!
I have been watching the sp over the last 3 weeks, looking to top up some more, but missed my buying in price.
May have to revise said buy in price, but having been caught a few times by this share, I am being more cautious, perhaps too cautious.
I totally agree. This is looking primed to fly, wouldn't be at all surprised if something across the pond is brewing... the case for investment in such technologies is strong in the States. Naturally, all in my personal opinion.
I am tempted to buy more (have a mere 500k) but would have to reduce elsewhere. This looks primed to move more though.
Also jumped in early around the time they first floated on the market.
Been in and out a couple of time, overall with a loss.
Only a token amount still held, although I did top up a bit at 1.66p so still more increase needed in the SP to break even.
Product has never really been a problem, with well over 80 positive medical trails/reports proving its worth, always been a lack of pushing by the board, as they never wanted to rock the boat by criticising the NHS for not taking up the products use, even after a wealth of info that showed both saving money and lives.
I had a few e-mail conversations with the previous CEO, re pushing more through the media about lack of NHS uptake, who although always coming over as a gentleman and very approachable, never came over as a CEO with much push.
For years, always thought that the company should have either partnered with one of the big boys, or be taken over.
It appears though, that this year, might just might see the company making the breakthrough we have been waiting years for.
Got to say I jumped in on these early doors and not much has moved. I just left them on my spreadhseet until they get in postive if they do. I am in some very active sharea at the moment on AIM and some bigger fish on FTSE. Hey these may suprise me one day. Seems like they will stay flat for awhile unless somebody knows different.
By increasing I would say something in the background.
Yet another day with a good percentage more trades than normal.
Would be nice to get confirmation of some orders to justify both the increase in trades and the SP.
Big sales at the moment , I fearsoon enough we will be where we have started
We are really bullish this week!!!
Reading from post it looks like invasive system isn't favorable at the moment . Many countries (hospitsls) will buy some of them machines what will possibly slow down future purchases . MY WORRY IS THAT THEY WILL CHOOSE LIDCO GROUP SYSTEMS as them are non invasive systems. And we hit big slow down in future demand for deltex.
This is copied from another post . Can you explain what do you really think?
Thanks,
buywell has noted that Deltex Medical is now offering it's monitors free of charge to the NHS , probes (disposables) are to be charged for I believe . Why is this ? IMO it is because with Covid-19 no ICU clinician wants to use probes anymore that have to be inserted down the patients throat and then withdrawn later on dripping with a massive viral load in most cases into a hectic overworked environment with patients dying in many ICU beds and people running about trying their best to save them. IMO these probes are a health risk to staff in context to Covid-19 transmission It would not surprise buywell to find that many UK Hospitals that have been using Deltex probes have switched to LiDCO In other words Deltex have been forced to try to keep their Hospitals from switching by offering new free monitors. Deltex have spare ones sitting on the shelf perhaps , unsold to the USA or any other new UK Hospital. Also how is the probe inserted when the patient has a plastic mask on their face as part of the ventilator ? Or how can the ventilator operate correctly with a probe by Deltex inseted down their throat ? buywell posted last year that China demand and increased USA demand would see LiDCO hitting 12M turnover and profits of 2M in 2021. Covid-19 will IMO mean this number should be bettered dyor
