Not so sure about your prediction of a price drop, hoping to buy @ 3.125. Sure the price will drift if no news comes, but the full year results are soon, the update just givenwas very positive. There is cash, production, orders up 50%, 14m worth of new customer orders expected, market growth, Ioxus win - XSPower must be next & maxwell potential. This is the year we start to be profitable. Lots of positives.
That's not really a lot of shares to burst people's bubble. Have fun trading. If you make money great, if you get in lower, great, if you miss out, oh well. Always believed in time in not timing, that's why I've just held for so many years. Started making monthly top ups so not fussed where the price is right now. Happy to keep holding until this moves back up.
i’m not sure why you are bursting anyone’s bubble? I had slightly over half of those at 4.52p! Leaves me with c 6mm shares ...still not sure it matters a jot! I’m either right or wrong. Time will tell.
Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles. 850,000 shares sold for 4.5p @ 09:50 on Friday. Still leaves me with 1.555,000. Will buy them back, plus more, in a few weeks when the price has dropped, which it inevitably will, despite the rampers. Been in this since 2015. Not selling out, just decided to trade my way to a few more, so selling the shares bought at the last fundraising. Possibly 1,195,000 @ 3.125p? Good luck to the LTH, and I admire your patience with some of the new "experts"!
Kencarv - of course they had a choice and they chose shares. Wouldn't you?
Do you think the installation guys had a choice whether to be paid in shares or cash? Do you think they may have chosen shares based on the project they were working on and what it means for Cap-xx?
I think ngninv was referring to the guys who were paid in shares rather than the MMs. I tend to agree with him. If I was involved in the installation and recognised the potential and if I could afford not to sell, I would be tempted to hang on to them. Of course some may well need the cash so would have to sell.
Again i truly don’t believe market makers have any more info than us about when news ‘may drop’. Their sole advantage is they should see all the flows and trade accordingly. And if they are the house broker or gave a v good sales team they will benefit as such. To repeat Market makers sole job is to move shares from A to B and take the turn. They are not fund managers / hedge funds etc who’s job is to be in a trade for longer than the 20 seconds a market maker will be in it!
Sorry rant over!
If you where working in that industry and you had more access to information than us, you may just keep hold of some or all as you have an inkling this is going to be a much bigger fish in a large pond in not to distant a future.
Don't forget 2.2m shares have just been issued to cover the cost of installation of the ex-Murata production lines. They were at 3.571p so a nice profit already for nothing. Would you not sell if that was your income. Can't eat shares, but these days, being held electronically.
Well said PC01 Que sera sera
We have had this conversation before. Having worked in the city for over 30yrs, i can promise you that there is no chance in Hades that a market maker will take down £40k of stock in an illiquid company like CPX without having a buyer or the balanced view he won't have sold such a large line without having a seller. That's what market-makers do. So to guess which way a large trade goes is a complete waste of time. The stock has moved from A to B, whether it be in one large clump from A to B /C/D/E or from a selection of small sales from A/B?C/D/E to one large buyer. It matters truly not a jot.
By the way, completely in accordance with the ridiculous ramping that goes on here. Speculation that Tesla might pay hundreds of mm of $$ because of a patent dispute is not the investment here. As per previous posts, its the gravy.
Trades marked as unknown are usually trades between one market maker and another. This is why the price is right in the middle of the bid/ask.
Thanks MW Nice to see someone with a balanced view ...I want this share to succeed but I get frustrated with the outright ramping and no admission that none of us are where we thought we would be when we invested some time ago
I did ... no evidence it was a buy. Quite the contrary
Haha check the trades on the 11th no ramp needed the trade speaks for its self
If it is newlands it won’t be a buy
Tr1 incoming imo...Newland’s at a guess ;)
Or a Johnny come lately ramper talking up a share and saying a delayed trade is a buy without any evidence it wasn’t a sale ?
Follow the money BIG delayed buy trade been worked in the background 850k shares value of £38,250 went through out of hours ..............
Starting to get the feeling big players are taking positions or a PI in the know could we be close to a court case update on settlement ????
