My previous post is aimed at Bert... his contradictory views are wearing thin.
Your opinion is just as valid as the next who is a share holder.... I don't think I've been harsh to him just asked a simple question.
Still no reply!! but, no doubt he will add his two pence on the next conspiracy and drive more people to anxiety if his anti Capita rhetoric goes unquestioned or unchallenged.
Appreciate the big sloppy kiss though Reg
Dave.....my prime motivation here is to double my investment asp....I cant do that until ESS is sold....or takeover ensues.....I have always been long investor......What Schroder does is of paramount importance to outcome here.....I understand your arguments ie most Capita units.....would trade profitably if debt were reduced.....I am not an accountant.....Psychology is my driver.....so is timing.....Big sloppy kiss Reg
Can anyone shed any light on this?
https://www.google.com/amp/s/uk.finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/capita-plc-holding-company-081200573.html
I have read your texts and you are all very knowledgeable
Maybe too much so and reading too much into current developments.
As I see it, a procedural issue with capita has given the predators a massive opportunity to make big bucks down the road and the current no news ... is onky a distraction as the big players are positioning to make one deadly scoop for a very interesting company with endless growth possibilities with proper financial management
I think talj of bmthese fellows buying today and selling tomorrow is a nonsense
They take aim slow and deliberate and get their target
Daily small movements does not become an issue for them
They look at the bug picture all the time
This company will be the darling of all very soon
@regvarny
No idea about source of rumour.
Theres far more to it behind the scenes and Schroders activity and has been for weeks.....
As always DYOR
Bertles.....agree could make sense at face value.....Not sure of source of rumour.....Needs to be verified....Reg
Bertles
Has that Capita bashing drum of yours not got a hole yet? Or the speculation stick that you hit it with not snapped?
It was only a week or so ago you clogged this board up with more speculation that Schroders jumped in to save the falling SP, you used quotes for example... if not for Schroders increasing their holding this SP will hit bottom, Schroders increase is in their interest so the SP doesn't dive, Schroders have clearly jumped in to save their investment and more Schroders are the saviour rhetoric.
Today, you are clogging this board with Schroders have sold because they believed a takeover was on the cards? More speculation may I add.
Which one is it? If you firmly believe Schroders bought more to allow them orchestrate a take over then please apologise for the crap we read last week?
Surely now you understand people are getting tired of your unproven fact based speculation.
I've said a few things to you that I take back... so please accept my apology on that.
But in return just be honest... why are you here? Is it to drop the SP more so you can buy in? Are you shorting? Have u lost cash in the past? Or for personal reasons you hate JL and Capita?
Surely you can see why people don't understand you. I for one would not dream wasting my precious time on a company forum that I don't have shares in. It's sad and pathetic really that you do.
You keep signing off with DYOR... I'm sorry but I think it's you that needs to start to DYOR. Your contradictions are becoming very apparent now and apart from the odd copy and paste from half year results 2019 I don't see any fact based research from you... just pure speculation.
Please answer the question on why you are here. I for one will back off if you tell the truth.
@regvarny
Pshy mentioned an imsurer has expressed they want to get out.
Schroders probably dont want to take all that on but another interested party might. But the other party may have a % voting rights in mind.
The equation would be the insurers holding switches hands. Schroders lets slide some shares at a loss to allow said aligned party to achieve %.
Schroders achieves a better outcome for themselves aligned tp their strategy for an irrelevant loss. They gain aligned voting rights without having to take on original insurers holding......
Samb69.....yes and its enough to move market.....Reg
Bertles.....good stuff.....I think we both agree......on probabilities.....no one sells at a loss.....and there is more to this that meets the eye.....Cheers Reg
In the scheme of things if they sold some of the shares they bought at 27p and sold at 24p - it's only about a 25k loss.
@regvarny
At this stage of proceedings voting rights will be influential.
There may now be another II who now wants to get out and allowing another to build a relevant stake.
Schroders may not be interested in gaining any more stake for themselves but may be partial to allow a new aligned II to buy in and join forces with them.
Slicing and dicing of voting rights......
@gotitwrongagain
Thats correct in a traditional srnse buying to sell at a loss doesnt achieve that. It indicates their strategy is elsewhere
Got.....you dont know who confidences Schroders are in......Capita or Serco eg.....Serco may pay Schroders losses for key to the throne....Reg
How does selling at a loss do that? Genuine question.
Bertles......it may be the case.....Schroders are trying to pressure management to pursue alternative strategies to asset sales.....Reg
@regvarny
Unfortunately you cannot take the current situ on face value.
There is undoubtedly a lot going on behind the scenes....
@gotitwrongagain
As you say its no strategy to start buying @27p to start selling @24p
However, there maybe a number of II's conferring and reaching agreement amongst themselves and agreeing positioning for other reasons......
Good morning Spertles.....yes does not make much sense on face value.....Its also too small holding to suggest things are going badly for Capita.....Let me look into my Mystic ball a little closer.....I see Trogen at Capta door....dawn brings a new king.....Schroders could be massaging share price lower.....to allow a dawn raid to happen....Reg
@Bertles I understand that but, what sort of strategy is to buy in on the 14th and sell at a loss on the 20th? I thought it was only me that does that, lol.
@gotitwrongagain
Its not always a case of follow the big money in a situ like this. That would be far too simplistic in this situation.
Schroders are enacting an investment strategy to protect their interests. They had even bigger money invested due to their original holding. This recent activity does not mean they believe a takeover is about to happen or the SP is sbout to surge on the back of a sudden turnaround in CPI performance. Such things dont happen overnight and both are unlikely in the current circumstances especially the latter.
The strategy for Schroders will be different to what individuals will hope to have in mind. Its wrong to assume strategies align like that. Always best to DYOR diligently.
This is all very strange Bertles, really not sure what to make of it, it was Schroders buying more that kept me confident!
@regvarny
It wouldnt make sense for Schroders to buy @27p and start selling @24p.
Unfortunately there has been no news of the takeover this week.
There are other things at play here......
0,05% nothing to cry about.
